- Found a Diamond the easy way Mining for diamonds at the Crater Of Diamonds State Park. Join me DMI at the only diamond mine i the world that’s opened to the public, and keep whatever you find!
I Found my 30th diamond in the bottom screen while washing my last bucket out of 18 at the Crater Of Diamonds state park January 2020. Normally have to make centers, to find the diamonds. Not this day! This made my first for diamond for 2020.

I was there two days ago. It was my first time there and I was down by the water near the woods. I had 2 buckets, but wish I had more. I haven't found anything yet but hoping I do.

I would never find a diamond there o.O
I was looking at the bright white stone instead of the diamond next to it. I would simply overlook them.
Everyone misses diamonds. But after awhile you’ll develop a good eye for them. same as gold, arrowheads. takes an eye for it. That takes time.

I know it's been 2 years but I just found this video. I also was looking at the stone beside the actual diamond. Once he pointed it out , to me , the actual diamond looked like a bubble 😆
Thanks for posting, i was out there in 1972 or 73 and looked and looked for 4 or 5 hours. back then there was no sluicing that i remember, you just walked around with the sun at your back looking for a glitter of light as they told us . You could also dig down and kind of screen the dirt. The park had not been open long to prospecting at this time.
I cut gemstones but i cant cut diamonds because of their hardness.
We did go on to the hot springs area and find quartz crystals that summer which i still have today.
the regulars were hitting it hard then. sounds like me my first time I went. no regulars there, and I didn’t have a single idea how to find diamonds. so i had to go again, and again, and again, again, again, again. lol

Just spent this Saturday there. I have a bucket of gravel that I washed but never went through. It's from a total of 8 buckets. Took my 6 year old twin boys. Hardly got to take look so I can't wait to go through it because they just had a bunch of rain and I worked the creek bed for ore. So worked a lot of crevices to bed rock.

I have been there several times and no diamond so far but lots of fun trying. probably had one but did not even know it posably. its a good day trip for the family outing. its about 3 hours from me. AND, My wife said looking at the video that we saw you on our last trip. you were walking out of the park with the same wagon and 4 buckets of dirt. Cool.

Oh yeah, meant to tell you, I am just about like you. Gems, minerals, Native American Artifacts, meteorites, metal detector, you name it. The sad thing is when I lived in Eureka Springs I never made it to the crater. Worse than that, I did not even know about the crystals then! Started the gems and minerals heavily after I left!

Thanks,for the video, I stayed in the campground, when I was young,it's a nice place. Had no luck,but,bought a stone,in that parking lot,to help a poor miner,buy food. It was like that size,for $5. It was a deep brown color. That mine,produces some fancy diamond's, like canary.
Yes the local miners are only able to sell these diamonds for $5-$10 per point. It’s a rough living unless you find a nice big diamond!!

Howdy, just found your channel and these videos on the crater. I've now made close to 20 visits there, once staying for 2 weeks straight so I'm no stranger to the intricacies of diamond hunting, including several extended forays into the surrounding woods but I have never heard of looking for plants to indicate deposits. In fact, I was always under the impression that a lack of vegetation might indicate a concentration of tuff, so I'm curious if you'd be willing to explain a little further? Thanks!

I didn't know you could bring a wagon in. Have you done a video on what's allowed to be brought in there? I'd sure like to know. I got there at 9am , the only time I've been. No gear was left to be rented. Thx, love your videos. 👍
other people have made some videos what to bring. Check out Older and Wiser on youtube. some people prefer wheel barrels, smaller carts.

I actually live in Arkansas, about an hour and a 1/2 away from the crater of diamonds. Have been there a few times, found nothing! Lol you sent me a comment in one and asked my phone# fir a text, or for my Facebook address, because you wanted to speak to me privately about something and I left what I could, but never heard from you. I almost always leave a comment on all of your videos, and I have watched them all. If I got the notification. I have been s subscriber for quite some time. I had asked that crystal mines remember? But, you said you would leave a link for the drawing, and thus video is about 4 months old. I watched it. This must be the diamond you're giving away! 1st time into the 2020 year I believe it was? Super cool man! I do diamond assaying in a lab. Only ever seen spikes the size of what you got there! (tbf, I do microdiamond analysis...)
In a lamporite eh? Very cool! Should be a wide variety of color and inclusions!
oh wow! that’s awesome. Lamproite is the boat for the diamonds here at this location. not Kimberlite. These diamonds do come in
variety of colors. Pink, green, black, red, purple, white, brown, and of course yellow.

I was only 13 in 1976 when I stayed at my parents friends resort on lake greeson for the entire summer. We went to the diamond mine once. I wish we had UA-cam back then because I would still be there. There was only one field back then.

I always get $50-$100 per point, because i’m 5-6 hours from the source. gem quality $100 per point, junkers like this one because of the flaws like carbon showing is a $50 point.
