About Subnautica:
Subnautica is an open world, underwater exploration and adventure game currently under construction at Unknown Worlds. The game is in advanced stage of Early Access development, with substantial content available for play. Performance/frame-rates, stability, and polish are not yet up to the standards of a finished game.
Dive Into a Vast Underwater World
You have crash-landed on alien ocean world, and the only way to go is down. Subnautica's oceans range from sun drenched shallow coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea trenches, lava fields, and bio-luminescent underwater rivers. Manage your oxygen supply as you explore kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The water teems with life: Some of it helpful, much of it harmful.
Scavenge, Craft, and Survive
After crash landing in your Life Pod, the clock is ticking to find water, food, and to develop the equipment you need to explore. Collect resources from the ocean around you. Craft knives, lights, diving gear, and personal water craft. Venture deeper and further form to find rarer resources, allowing you to craft more advanced items.
Construct Underwater Habitats
Build bases on the sea floor. Choose layouts and components, and manage hull-integrity as depth and pressure increase. Use your base to store resources, park vehicles, and replenish oxygen supplies as you explore the vast ocean.
Unravel the Mystery
What happened to this planet? Signs abound that something is not right. What caused you to crash? What is infecting the sea life? Who built the mysterious structures scattered around the ocean? Can you find a way to make it off the planet alive?
Disrupt the Food Chain
The ocean teems with life: Use the ecosystem to help you. Lure and distract a threatening creature with a fresh fish, or simply swim as fast as you can to avoid gnashing jaws of roaming predators.
Handle the Pressure
Build a Pressure Re-Active Waterproof Nanosuit, or PRAWN Suit, and explore extreme depth and heat. Modify the suit with mining drills, torpedo launchers, propulsion cannons, grappling hooks and more.
Fear the Night
As the sun goes down, the predators come out. The ocean is unforgiving of those caught unprepared in the darkness. Areas that are safe to explore during the day become treacherous at night, but also reveal a beauty that those who hide from the darkness will never see.
Dive Below the Ocean Floor
Cave systems wind below the sea bed, from dark claustrophobic passages to caverns lit by bio-luminescent life and burning-hot lava flows. Explore the world below the ocean floor, but watch your oxygen levels, and take care to avoid the threats lurking in the darkness.

A stalker followed me home and I named him Charles. Also, I'm getting Subnautica tommorrow.
The Hero Matthew
How is that possible
The Hero Matthew that makes no sense
@@ebony1390 clearly didnt get the joke, a stalker followed him home, hes getting the game tomorrow hes not talking about the fish
ManBunGaming oh my god, I get it now! Hahahahaha
Funny
Who is here for the play at home 2021?
Subnautica is free
XXXKAVISH PALY AT HOME 2021
SAME
I just got Subnautica today and now I'm watching tips what to do
Sammmeeee
I got the game last night and hoping I will be better at this than Minecraft 😂😭
My tip: when looting all the goodies around the Aurora, don’t go directly behind the engines. Bad, bad things happen.
Yeah, you REAP what you sow.
There's more than 1 sadly
67Spectre I get what you’re saying
At first, I thought it was friendly because it didn’t attack me. Little did I know...
Omg what is it?!?!?
I think the best tip for beginners is to grab every Bladder Fish you can find. You can eat then or make water from them. I set my first base up near a patch where they constantly seemed to spawn and it really did make my aquatic life much much easier!
I prefer making purified water instead but it gives me the stress of one day running out of salt
Water filtration can make salt and water so 4 waters 2 large water 2 dissenfected water with salt
just make them water instead of cooking them since you can just get pepper or some useless fish you dont need
One tip that might come in handy when you reach the point where you need to build power cells: Use empty batteries to craft those power cells. They will come out of the fabricator with 100% charge anyway.
I was surprised when I found out that actually works. It's kinda cheesy wouldn't you agree?
I'd argue that the charge comes from the life pod's power supply.
That is useless. How do you do what they ask for story?
Holy shit thank you!!!
I got tired of crafting power cells, and got the moonpool before the power cell charger. You can charge cells by popping them in your docked seamoth and let the base charge them for you.
I'm so scared of this game... I can't even get out at night I just sit and wait it out lmao
Nikita Plotnikov trust me it gets better
I hunt for food and water at night since all the fish glow. I hunt resources during the day. I think its more efficient that way.
Scorpion S. I spearfish in real life and swim with sharks and stuff. This game does freak me out from jump scares. I do get jumped scared in the wild by animals in the ocean. It can get scary in murky ass water and somthing bumps and you keep thinking what the fuck was that lol.
Same the safe area used to scare me so much lol got thalassophobia big time.
I think u can just sleep on the bed u scan from the Aurora to pass through the night
I love the progression in this game you start out being able to dive for a couple seconds then half a minute and so on going deeper into the ocean and to farther places
I agree! It's very exciting!
Early in the game fire extinguishers are cheap and easy to get. Getting chased? Just point it at the fish attacking you and you will be propelled away from them very quickly. Easy way to get away from the blast zone of those damn crash fish. They also push you to the surface far faster than the air bladder.
Wall-E tactics B)
I used fire extinguishers to stop myself from drowning as I often lost a lot of time exploring underwater.
I like how casually you are just swimming around the stalkers. When I started I saw one of them I ran like a bitch
bruh one stalker chased me and all the other stalkers followed him. lucky i had a seaglide
Those stalkers are nothing compared to the territorial Xenomorph like aliens that pop out of the ground in groups to protect their eggs. *No Man's Sky*
You wanna know what's scary? Entering the reefback's home for the first time at night time, I was playing in creative mode y'know, having fun, When i saw this red grass, Didn't know what it was till i heard the sound of a reefback.
I was paralyzed, Saw their glowing eyes in the distance, I didn't know they wouldn't harm me, so i stayed as far back as possible, Now i'm not scared of them anymore, I just try to kill them every now and then.
@@MiniiPockets101 why would you kill a reefback. They’re harmless.
@@khushishadija446 I know they aren't harmful but i didn't know that you can't kill them xD
When you use your battery to recharge something, you are left with a dead battery. This can be used to craft something and it will still be full power. Very useful
I was very surprised when I found that out. Good tip!
I was disposing batteries in the bin before i discovered you can use 0% for power cell at full power. So sad.
SPOILER
there is also a battery charger plan to find
@@prym7588 I got multiple storage units filled with dead battery thanks for that tip
actually i knew about the island becasue my game bugged and shot me into outer space and i saw it, yeah, kinda cool
Working as intended :D
So you left the planet, faster than any of us ._.
That happened to me as well!😂 I was standing on the pod and dropped a copper ore and boom😂😂
@@BC-on7uf oh no...
Nomas- X he must’ve gotten the world record
Although your propulsion gun sucks power like crazy, you can pick up brain coral and move it to where you need oxygen, like in a big wreck.
Budget seamoth
(Gives oxygen even when deep under water)
Oh wow good advice I will have to practice that. I die alot know those wrecks and I only play hardcore🤣
You forgot to SAVE before risking somehting or use as a from of check point or point you could turn back from incase you die.
Believe me, SAVE files are much beter than respawns.
no, just SAVE often regardless if you're risking or not. You may soon find out that your prawn suit glitches through the ocean floor, that you fall through your base randomly to the ocean floor and can't swim, only jump, or that your cyclone jumps really fast around the map, with you inside it rolling about nauseatingly. That last one could end you up in the upper atmosphere tens of thousands of kilometers above the planet. Nice game, but some ridiculous bugs even in 2020
@@mesteru yeah ikr, I learned that the hard way, I just finished looting aurora everything, fixing the reactor and stuff and as I was leaving, I phase through the ceiling so I can't get out so I had to redo
@@mesteru lmao one time I started a world and dropped down a floating storage then go launched 600m away
Agreed i cant tell you how many times ive save scummed with this game
One thing I wish I'd realized sooner: The gel sacs are plants, you can grow them in outdoor grow beds. You can also harvest the red blood pod things and plant them to grow more blood pod vines.
Also, build a base as soon as you get the base builder. You don't need any of the actual rooms, you can just build the + shaped tunnel with a hatch. Then put a bunch of storage lockers in it. This will let you keep all the resources you harvest, as you will need them later.
Thank you for the tips!
The T junction! Brilliant! You get so cluttered with 7-8 floating containers that don't hold enough floating around. This why i like UA-cam vids.
Good thing I planted all the seeds I could ever find, it was really handy especially for that ending quest ;)
Not having to go back into that awful blood kelp ravine for gel is a life changer
Also note that gel sacks are (practically speaking) the best fuel for bioreactors; a single gel sack can fully recharge a power cell and then some. I slept on the bioreactor at first because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of refueling when solar panels and thermal plants don't have that issue, but a bioreactor full of gel sacks will last a long time, and of course they are renewable (they grow fast too). The bioreactor is great because its build requirements are modest and you can use it to power a base anywhere, any time.
Three beginner tips from me. First, get a base going in the red grass biome, specifically over some caves that you'll find later in the story. The location is fairly good with the second tip for collecting necessary resources. Second tip, find a scanner room and build 1+. A scanner room plus the HUD chip will allow you to find all of the resources you need, really easily. And don't be afraid to build more than one. Just might need to space them out some. Last tip, red grass biome is good for salt, use the salt to make bleach and the water from that bleach. It is WAY better than the other water you find from fish. It isn't the BEST water overall, but with a good supply of salt, it will help with early game.
Thanks dude I'm way late to this game I'm buying it tommarow this really helps
Just put the live fish in the storage and cook them when you need it. The fishes won't die in the storage! HA!
Very special fish indeed! Thanks for sharing buddy!
Yup that’s what I do
I wasn't sure if the fish would go rotten, but apparently not. Peepers are worth more food points than any other early-game fish and they're quite common (although a bit difficult to catch, even with a Seaglide). Catch Peepers, not Garryfish, Boomarangs, and Bladderfish
@@jebstuart3162 my computer is not that good so it has low frame rate which makes it harder for me to catch fish but it's easier for me to fish with just the fins
@@jebstuart3162 i get peepers and bladderfish
But...but...in Counter Strike, running with a knife makes you faster. Everybody knows that.
It makes you faster than running with a heavy gun. If you could run without any weapons, it’ll most likely be faster.
😂😂😂
my knife is heavy
*It shouldnt since you are carrying the weapon
I didn't...
Biggest tips I can offer the noobs:
1. Get the compass.
2. Cook fish when you're gonna eat it immediately, keep 2 cured peepers on you during long trips, make bleach in advance, convert to disinfected water as you need it (bleach takes up less storage space)
3.Earliest base should be little more than a storage facility.
4. hang on to crash fish eggs, they make for great propulsion cannon ammo (seriously, I've made reapers, and ghost leviathans promptly bugger off).
5. Solar power is useless when deeper than 100m.
6. Don't approach the Aurora (the crashed ship, you were on) without a seamoth.
7. When you first find The Jellyshroom Caves, grab as much magnetite as you can.
8. Scanner rooms are your friend, get them asap, and the hud upgrade (built at the scanner room's fabricator).
9. In early game, silver is easiest to find in The Grassy Plateau biome, and is most common at a depth around 100m.
Is the jellyshroom cave the one with eye-looking pink plants? Also, how do you know the name of the biome you’re in?
@@synergy8612 Yeah that's the one, and hit F1 to bring up your map coordinates (useful for cheating, but don't cheat on your first play through, detracts from the overall experience), and the biome you're in.
Thank you!
Well I still dont have the scanner room, I'm to the point I have all vehicles, going to the end game trying to do some... upgrades so I can go on the story. This game is crazy, it starts normally and then goes completely crazy, in a good way.
Still havent completed the game though, but I believe I'm close
If you’re having trouble finding the islands, a pro tip is to stand on your life pod and use the PDA while looking at the horizon. The normal clouds will be normal, but the obscuring island fog will glow, a dead giveaway that something is hidden.
I’m not certain if this is a bug or if the developers intended it to be this way, but I guarantee you it works because they haven’t removed it after all these years, so it’s probably intentional, but it’s not well known.
Also, if you follow the game's history, the islands get marked
I forget what it's called exactly, but once you can build the modification station the survival knife heat blade upgrade is invaluable, it allows you to instantly cook edible fish when you cut them with it, this saves you from having to carry cured food on long journeys as you can simply kill and cook nearby fish when you get hungry. I still recommend carrying one piece of non spoiling food though, just in case you're exploring somewhere without a nearby food source available.
The thermoblade.
In the future, not spoiling the game when giving beginner tips would be the way to go.
@@sanctumsomega Damn bro eat a snickers

Personally for me: Do NOT clutter your inventory with every random junk you find. You will regret it later running around finding storages for them both from inventory or from lockers.
Here are my tips start the game and play :D run around aimlessly drown a lot spend 10 hours untill u realise how to build stuff and have fun :)
I don't know what is different now, but my tips for food/water are: Nutrient blocks are only emergency food, if you're far from your lifepod. Gather a lot of bladderfishes and make water, never cook them. You only need salt and cured food if you go far, but then you need even more water (I haven't used cured food). Don't forget that raw fishes can also be stored, so you can cook them anytime when you go home.
One more tip: use the gravity ball, in grass biome or before entering a cave, it will atract all the stone and u can keep an eye on predators and such, also u save some time and oxygen. They will just fly to you!
Thank you for the tip!
Omg I’m nearly 48 hours into this game and my dumbass didn’t think to use that ball for this. Only for fish for food/bioreactor purposes. Jesus.
If you run out of food and water and your on the island you can eat the trees
It's really funny when you say it like that. Imagine someone taking a bite from a tree trunk.
@@NesrocksGamingVideos lmao true
The fruit not the trees
For the silver part, the flashlight makes sandstone glow orangey. That helps me a lot to spot them. Otherwise they look quite similar to limestone.
Try having one or two more extra tanks in your inventory, so you can switch to new tanks when you run out of oxygen with one. But remember to charge all tanks when you get air at water surface or in your base/ship/life pod
does that really work now? i never played the very early betas when this was viable strategy for deep dives, but i think i heard like IGP saying that has been patched. plus i think it's a waste of material..
@@vine01 you already have infinite titanium so its not a big deal
@@timotijevic__ It's a waste of inventory space more than anything, you should have at least a seamoth for air refreshing
@@RexDeorumYT Just a quick question, i somehow clipped into shipwreck with my seamoth, what do i do 😂😂
@@timotijevic__ If you cant get it out, you may just have to make a new one, or if possible, use a console command to replace it since it was a game bug and not your fault
Tip from me (I'm experienced): Need to stay underwater for a long time? Make multiple oxygen tanks then equip all of them to fill them up in an area with oxygen then when you go into the depths and need oxygen equip the next tank
Thanks man, I know this is a 2 year old video but PlayStation just releases it for free and was looking for some help. You gained a new sub
Another good tip is that you can 'reuse' flares when you're done with exploring the area. I usually bring 2 flares to 'mark' the area when I'm 'crap, my inventory is full. I'll come back later' - till you have the beacon that is.
You can pick the flares back up and drop them again somewhere, for some reason they last a very long time, haven't seen one expire yet. And they're hard to miss when you're exploring.
Sorry for double post :D
Nice tip! Thank you!
Weird, salt has been pretty rare for me so far.
between the aurora and your base
Once you build water purifiers you will need a trash can for all your excess salt.
@@SaneNoMore Well, I hated purifiers. They were taking so much power just to make 2 bottles and 2 salt samples which wasn't so rewarding. The good old salt sampling was much more rewarding for me.
SaneNoMore I got 2 wall lockers full of salt only from the filter station
The grassy plateau is the best place to find salt in my experience.
Looking for silver, find the mountains. It’s deep and dangerous (0-500 M and it has reapers and Warpers) magnetite, gold, silver, lead, rubies, nearby gel sacks. This allows you to make a base and a geothermal generator right next to it
Tip when growing gel sacks. Hit them 2 times with a knife then take it out of the growbox then put it back in and keep doing that and you'll have infinite gel sack seeds and gel sacks
I actually recommend that you play hardcore, it makes the deaths you endure feel like they actually mean anything. As well build an air tank and repair tool and fins first as getting your radio up is the best thing you can do. Do not swim more that 100 meters without a seglide and do not swim more than 200 without a seamoth and a re breather. Always check big debris felids, like places that look like sides of the Aurora, as they tend to hold room blueprints and will also have cargo crates with blueprints for the seaglide and seamoth. The biggest thing you want to avoid is caving. Unless you have a pathfinder caving will kill you. The exits to caves tend to black out and blend in with walls and if you run into the sulfur fish you will get disorientated really quick.
Subnautica is one of the few games where I do recommend playing on hardcore, even for a beginner or a relatively casual player. The game is very fair and not very mechanically challenging. A reasonable amount of attentiveness, caution and preparedness will generally keep you safe. Getting lost/disoriented in certain caves and wrecks are the main danger points and as you say, the pathfinder tool can help with that a lot.
You're most vulnerable in the early game before you have a bunch of equipment that make damage/suffocation less of a hazard, and the environments really don't get that much deadlier as you progress, as long as you're not going deeper than your vehicles can support. If you do die early on at least you don't have to replay a lot to get back where you were. If you die 8 hours into the game then you probably did something reckless.
I mean nice advice I guess, but am going to try to play classic once or twice to familiarise myself with the game more then try hardcore. I don't really know anything about this game so I feel like I'd most likely die quite early since I don't know anything about it. But thanks I'll keep it in mind.
Subnautica is free at epic games for now.
untill the 26th
Chinese government! Wahoo!
I saw it an hour ago, then i screamed, then i downloaded it, now i´m going to play it
Yep lol
I scream and i got grounded
Should've included how NOT to hold tools. When I first started, I couldn't figure out how to put tools down. But if you hit the same number as you're tool, you put the tool down. I watched this looking for any tips I missed yesterday. TFS!
Can't believe that at 4:52 you just swam right past that stalker tooth and didn't pick it up 😭😭. They are soo magical and shiny sparkly.
Dam this game is awesome i only got it yesterday and am loving it so far
I'm 22 hours in and I'm over my fear of the ocean. In the games defense, I've watched all the subnotica/ below zero/ mods videos, so..
It was terrifying for 15 hours, though.

Here's my contribution, when power is a concern and you need some organic stuff, build a plant pot and put some of the blue trees from the Island into the pot, it's good food and water, plus you can harvest loads of samples to use for power, they grow fully in a day or two.
Those alien watermelons are better in my opinion
Also, if you have a fire extinguisher and use it under water you can use it like a jetpack
But aren't you quite slow doing that? I've not noticed any significant boost..
George Wroolie 😂Memories
Kokoplays MB you actually go pretty fast
also also the fire thingy only costs some titan
i love how informative and encouraging this is, im just now playing for the first time and i had no idea what i should be doing before watching this, thank you hahah🤝
My tips for beginners!!!
1. Best time to get fish and Quartz is at night, the fish don't run away as fast, and the Quartz is easier to see especially in the Grassy Plateaus.
2. When going into biomes to harvest materials with violent Fauna or to just kill leviathans, build a small yet tall square shaped base that you can hide and protect your Seamoth at, in the center at the bottom, that you can swim back to, when you need air.
3. SAVE YOUR GAME CONSTANTLY!!! My game has frozen on me lots of times. Nothing's worse than playing for 3-4 hours, just for your game to freeze and you lose everything you just did. Shit sucks!!!
The stalker almost gave me a heart attack when I was trying to get a cluster of seeds
I don't know how u felt going to the aurora
My tip: build/ craft two oxygen tanks instead of one, because if you are deep under water and you don’t have a vehicle/ habitat you can go ur pda and switch your tanks it will refil ur oxygen
Thank you, I did not know about the underwater oxygen. Excellent :)
Thanks for this, just got 3 hours of playtime and I was wondering if I missed some tips.. This helped me a lot.
You forgot the best tip buddy :) Build a base either on the Dunes biome or the Mountains biome, they're the safest place in the game and got an amazing view
Amazing view, yes. But they are not safe, reapers everywhere. This is probably a joke though.
For me the scanner room is invaluable! Its a base room and its very helpful! Though it gets better once you get some magnetite!
I scanned limestone chunks with the scanner room and give 50 live pings. Just get the very top upgrade and its magical.
Cool, thanks so much! bought the game today, can't wait for it to arrive..
Bro I just love subnautica in the start I was so scared but now I just love it now!
Thanks for the tips man, without too many spoilers. I've been tentative to look up info for just that reason, but sometimes it's been annoying to be stuck because I can't find silver or part of blueprint. Good to know those things now :P
Glad you liked them!
The SeaGlide is a DPV, a diver propulsion Vehicle. Its a powered swim.
I actually knew all this but I've been playing a long time, great information, great video ::)
This was a GREAT and nearly spoiler-free video to help me get started with this really beautiful game. I know I'm real late to the party - I bought it a long time ago but just hadn't started it yet until last night. I feel like a lot of the organic discovery is really well done, but it's helpful to have some tips like this. Thank you!
Great video, love the game and I learned a couple things - brain fungus for example. Thanks.
Glad I could help! Hope you have loads of fun playing!
Thanks! I've played it before but never a full playthrough. Mostly was just spawning the leviathans and Other stuff like that. But I didn't really know where to start or How to be a good player at Subnautica. Again big thanks!
Glad I could help.
Using salt on the fish is the worst idea, unless you're going on a long journey and need to keep the food from rotting. Firstly, the cured fish makes you more thirsty where plain cooked fish tops up your water as well as food. Second, you can use the salt deposits instead to make bleach which you can use to make water. So yeah, salting fish instead of cooking it is great if you want to die of thirst.
Loved the tip video! Humorous and provides more than enough knowledge to help others get started in the game!
Thanks!
You forgot to tell that you don't need to craft a flashlight everytime it runs out of power because that's what i did at first. You just need a new battery and swap it with the empty one by pressing "R"
6:00 to 6:10 he says and I quote "you will unravel a story which I will not say spoilers about" well hes a liar
I mean technically he didn't talk about the story behind the island or its role in the games plot, just that it exists and has resources
@@RexDeorumYT he technically said something about the reason you go there first though.
I mean what he actually says is "which I'm not really going to be giving you spoilers right now." Even when he does start talking about the island he straight up says "this is kind of spoilers" before continuing. Stop complaining he didnt even ruin the main storyline
Alien Containment - Glowing Creep vine.. grow a couple of these, will come in handy no doubt but MOST importantly.. Blood oil from the Bloodkelp place. Plant the Oil and grow a couple of trees. Hate going too the blood kelp forest, there simply isn't much of a reason to go there, except when you need blood oil.
Tip: There is only one thing that can one shot you in this game, which are sea dragon leviathans. Everything else will take 2 or more hits to kill you, including reaper and ghost leviathans.
its funny, you say explore the beautiful world, when i play, im terrified of all the monsters that can kill me. i play very cautious, always fully hydrated and fed. i cant help being terrified! i think ill try swimming with some of the predators to get some confidence
Actually the character swims really fast...
Good tutorial! Very usefull! :) Thanks lot!
I love how you tell a sort of story. Very entertaining.
Thanks!
I’ve played this game for years and have really big bases and I’ve never known about brain coral
Thats impossible:o
Same!
Can you kill the stalkers?

Someone help me I just started the game accidently through a flare in my pod and I thaight it would dissapear and I progressed alot and it still hasnt dissapeared so I think im fucked with being blinded every time i go in my pod
Lol
pick it up and drop it outside
I already was at the island when I watched video and passed those story parts....... but you gave me great idea to actually build base there never had that cross my mind.... such big intelect... great video bw.
Thanks!
Thank you for the tips :)
I just can't play this game. Too much anxiety!
But... it's beautiful underwater!
@@KokoplaysMB Really fascinating! Great game! The problem is that falling into the abyss comes anxiety xD
No better way to fight anxiety than gaming!
@@Gamer2Key Absolutely no joke, I sit at this very moment facing the same dualisitc issue. I am so terrified of simply roaming the 200 meter marker to a point where i am physically having signs of panic. I constantly remind my logical thinking self that this is posssibly the best theraputic action I could ever do in regards to my ocean phobia. Such a crazy idea to think a game can have this deep of a permiating effect! :o
I never go deep in the water i am scared to get jumpscared by a stupid fish also when i go deep for PDA i always see yt videos to see what creatures are in the specific area
You do not repair the radio, you repair the lifepod, the area next to the fabricator that is sparking, repair that.
Silver is also available on the backs of the Reefbacks. Smash the barnacles. Some Reefies have Tiger plants on them who spill darts at you so be careful of those and, they move so as you are smashing they will be moving too.
And I have never built a seaglide, never needed one.
Beacons are a good idea, collect copper, make copper wire, craft beacons then whenever you find something you might want to go back to later, drop a beacon, name it. In the PDA there is a beacon management system where you can highlight beacons and other markers (Like radio location markers and later, vehicles) and change their colours.
Repairing the lifepod doesn't repair the radio.
@Will Pack Beacons can be found around the Safe Shallows near wrecks.
No seaglide? It moves as fast as the seamoth...
@@NesrocksGamingVideos But takes up inventory space, and won't offer protection like the Seamoth does. I always build one, but I can see why Solitary Angel wouldn't.
@@ReddwarfIV True it takes a lot of space, but you can use it to gather resources more practically. The seamoth isn't very good for that if you have to enter/exit it all the time.
Can anyone tell me how to change your inventory places, like i want to make my knife to be in 1,2,3,4,5 slots but it is inside my inventry i cant drag and drop it to first side
I use grow beds with creepvine, or membrane trees, they shed light so you can build a path of light. In a similar way I put thermal power stations where I can, and build power chains along a safe path to help avoid stumbling into reapers.
"The safe shallows"
>Proceeds to be attacked by a stalker.
Safer than whats out there beyond......
well not that much damage actually, and just 1 knife hit and they just bugger off so I just usually ignore them
@@jollyrogerhobbies2386 True. My safe shallows somehow ended up getting cluttered with a ton of those elecric eel creatures, but by that point I was wandering the world in a prawn suit so I was rather okay with it..
@@teirdalin really? Ampuals? Wow. Yes, love the prawn suit. Very few things scared me after getting it. I just drilled their face or punched them. Hell, after they buggered off, I chase them and punch them some more so they would forget me. Lok
Get some manures in there!
Tip for brain corals: You can use the propulsion cannon (The PROpulsion cannon, NOT the REpulsuion cannon) to pick them up and move them around for an easy, portable, oxygen source.
Thank you for your helpful advices! I'm a begonner (about 8 hours played, but I didn't know about some of the things which you was talking about) and maybe they will save my life many times :)
Glad I could help!
I just spent an hour looking for 1 piece of silver, haven't found a single piece in the whole game. I have a seaglide, and have travelled 600m from the starting area, along the ocean floor. What am I doing wrong?
You don't need to go too far, look for the red grass biome and then check the cliff walls. You'll find some there, but it's not abundant anywhere unfortunately.
You just head wrong way lmao.
Have a look about the biome bloody kelps and the biome with the short red grass (Forgot that one). I'm gonna head up To the lava castle tonight 😎
BassBoosts go to red kelp with pillars of rock and there is a pretty good amount there, but you have to look pretty hard
Build a scanner room in the grassy plateau (The blood grass.) and make a small little outpost. Get the top upgrade in the scanner room and scan for sandstone chunks.
depth over distance
Im a begginer at this game, I got many good tips but next time plz dont spoil the game in a BEGINNERS guide
i totally agree. especially if diamonds and lithium are found in jellyshroom caves, and we are guided there by a lifepod crew message very early on.
@@vine01 True, but the island is way safer than jelly shroom caves
Can anyone help me with a issue... anytime I press R2 /RT when I try to throw items out of my inventory the pause menu opens... it's so annoying...can anyone tell me how to fix it?
Thanks man! This video was very useful for me as a beginner.
Glad to help!
