As much as I like Jason fighting Bruce, the ending message goes to Barbara. It makes more sense for her to do that because she's not only continuing Batman's legacy as Batgirl or even her father's legacy, she's continuing both of their legacies by being both Barbara Gordon the daughter of Jim Gordon and as a student of Batman as Batgirl
Eh not really same could be said for nightwing since he was the first Robin than it could be said the same for Robin because he was with Batman then you could say the same about red hood who spent years hating batman so they all would get a little satisfaction being able to be with Batman for his last moments

I hope you're right, batman is mine and I think everyone else's favourite Justice League hero not because of the powers but the spirit, skill, moral compass, compassion and willpower. Any game where Alfred outlives Batman is really hard for me to watch
I dunno if it's just me, but looking at the cutscene differences, this to me looks a bit more like a Red Hood game with the other Batman family characters along for the ride.
Most of these things would be far more interesting if they were written for Jason, As he has a much more complex relationship with everything. The other nights being supporting characters in it would be cool, but does work better as a Jason Solo.
this should be a Jason and Tim game; Tim has a lot to prove, being the youngest and most recent addition, in a way, he's the future of Gotham in terms of solving mysteries and cases. Jason, on the other hand, is supposed to represent what Batman would never do: the lines he wouldn't cross, the methods he rejected, and maybe some of them do have an important place in Gotham's future. Him including some of the elements Bruce taught him while maintaining some of his own is just an interesting thing to see. Jason: Action, battles and justice enforcement Tim: Investigation/detective work, diplomacy and recollection of experience Dick is kind of boring and bland, while Barbara would do better in a supporting role
I mean they are also armed with some of the best technology along with being trained by the best it’s not like this is being portrayed as a quote on quote fair fight

Although I love Kevin Conroy as Batman, having him voice every iteration of Batman would get jarring after a while and it wouldn’t give anyone else a chance to take the role.

People said the same thing about the Rasta joker when The Batman was still around but people eventually came to like it. At the end of the day it’s just a voice and we don’t have to listen to it if we don’t like it but to do that would be a disservice to the actor especially when he’s actually pretty good at what he does.
I mean no disrespect, but the writing is so stupid and forced, Batman practically stabs himself fighting Ra's and blows up the cave, and here instead of pushing Barbara or something, he gets stabbed and blows everything up AGAIN. Bruce saying that he didn't fear the criminals but the rich feels so out of character, instead they should've said that he felt powerless against corruption or something like that but 'scared of the rich' doesn't feel right as the final words the billionaire Batman. The combat comments and villain's dialogs are so corny and silly that this feels like it was written by Valorant devs and the acting in this video is so... weird they put emotion were there should be only a simple explanation but the most emotional parts lacks power for both Barbara and Thalia. As for the gameplay I can't say much because I haven't played it myself yet but it pretty much looks like a mix of Dark Souls and Marvel's Avengers... so not my type of game.

Hear me out, a saga would have been. Game 1. Batman single player with his last mission leading to his death that begins Gotham knights. 2. Gotham Knights 1 doesn’t reveal the court. Just the after affect of Batman’s death. So some rogue’s get loose and make trouble. But the League has hands in some things. The big bad of the game? Bane (running with the arc of him leading the rogues to make Gotham their home where they wreak havok for fun and he literally runs the city like the storyline where Damian watches Alfred get killed). Game 3. GK2 The Gotham knights have been operating together for a couple years they’ve kinda cleaned up The chaos bane orchestrated. But unfortunately another big problem arises. A more organized plot with a grander scheme. (The big bad Could be between a handful of Batman’s top rogues so I’m not sure who I’d pick). Game 4. GK3. The court of owls storyline that takes place here, League vs Knights vs Owls. Reveal of not only Bruce’s revival. But him being well past revived and becoming the league’s weapon talia kept hidden away. So not only comes along Bruce but also comes along his son. Bruce dies again this time via sacrificing himself to save the knights. Talia fails again. What happens with Damien is up for grabs. Wether he is raised by the league or somehow becomes Robin.
I'm not going to lie ,while I enjoy the game, I will agree that there are certain game mechanics that really let this game down , the main one ;having powered abilities instead of being able to use bat gadgets or Batman's classic Arkham takedowns . I will also agree the story is much stronger than the game , as every character feels like their counterpoint in the comics. I love how just before Bruce sends his video recorded message he looks at the Demons Head Amulet he wears round his neck before abruptly taking it of and throwing it away (like he's completely disgusted by what it presents ) . One thing is important to him: he will not die as a puppet of the League Of Shadows or have his adopted / surrogate family see him wear the symbol of their sworn enemy .
So Bruce gets killed, then gets resurrected from the Lazarus pit just for him to get killed again!? that’s so lame. The game doesn’t even look that good either, not my cup of tea.
