Yet… we know vhagar grew almost as large as balerion and meraxes was felled in battle when she was younger. Not young, but def younger than a massive dragon would be. She was born on dragonstone after all…
Imagine Meraxes didn't got shot down and live up to The Dance. If even drogon who is already a few years old manage to live up to e few years before The Dance, then i think it is possible for Meraxes who born decades after Balerion would be able to live up to the event of The Dance.
The only size description in the books is that she’s a skinny dragon but she was at least 80 years old so she should be a lot bigger than Syrax and close to Caraxes in size. The show version is probably a lot younger.
There is literally no mention of her age... at all. The only estimate is during the century of blood. Around the size of Silverwing would be a good estimate though I think.
One correction u told vaghar has length of 240 feet but observe battle at rooke rest meleys is half the size of vaghar as per your estimation meleys is 165 feet long when compare to vaghar which is having 360 feet long
I think ppl overestimate the size of the dragons during the conquest, realistically they should be around drogon/ meleys/ caraxes size given how large they are during jahearys/ viserys rule, I think peak balerion is likely around maegors rule when he killed quicksilver
Balerion was in his peak size during Jaehaerys reign when Viserys claimed him cause he never stoped growing. During the Conquest he was relative to Dance Vhagar in size. He is a fast growing dragon like Vermithor or Sunfyre, while Vhagar is not.
Now we have to wait a really long time. 2 seasons did nothing but say "war is coming"!😂 Except rooks's rest nothing has progressed in the story except dragon seeds which could have been done in one episode.
@joeybulford5266 the show actually downplays her a lot compared to the books. In the books older ment stronger in every way. Scales, teeth, flames, and experience were all increased. Sure, she was slower, but few dragons would want to get that close to her because she so strong she could tear you apart *Caraxes, even tho he was biting her throat, she ripped off his wing and his belly spilled out* Fans of the show only think she's only old and weak, when in the books GEORGE stresses that Vhagar was always the greatest threat to all the other riders and the Black's
@@kailanerman5090 I don’t think the show has downplayed her. Meleys slashed her and no blood came out. She slammed to the floor and got right back up. Her jaws almost took Meleys head off and they cut Arrax in half. Book Arrax neck was bitten off, the show had her rip the entire dragons body in half. But as people have said, age certainly doesn’t mean stronger or fiercer. Balerion was too weak to fly to dragonstone. An old dragon just doesn’t have enough energy or stamina for warfare. Vhagar has gone past her “prime”. Shes about 30 years away from when Balerion died of old age.
@J_ads2000 yes she's 30 years off from Balerion but George has said all dragons die at different ages like people. Some die of old age at 65, others at 102. Vhagar is old, but she's clearly enough of a threat that George thought it justified a civil war.

Why sheepstealer is so small in show ? How big he was in books? Can compare?
Could be perspective. Maybe he looks closer than he was
Sheepsteeler looks about as big as sea smoke or syrax so not to big but not small either
I think being a wild dragon he might have been unable to have the same nutrition as the targaryen dragons.
@@KrishnaGupta-nb4mt funnily enough Targaryen dragons got smaller and smaller in captivity though
The only size description in the books is that she’s a skinny dragon but she was at least 80 years old so she should be a lot bigger than Syrax and close to Caraxes in size. The show version is probably a lot younger.
What is the exact size of the vhagar at the time of the conquest?????
Actually it's really small only a 50 years old dragon at that time. I think vhagar would be the same size of meleys
@@sijoypjohn Vhagar was 52 at the time of the conquest. So yes, about as big as Meleys is a good size estimate
Between Meleys and Syrax (closer to Meleys size though for sure).
@@J_ads2000And balerions and meraxes age?
Could you do a new size comparison with the new dragons please👉👈
She was said to be a 100 years old by that time so around silverwing size or vermithor I guess
There is literally no mention of her age... at all. The only estimate is during the century of blood. Around the size of Silverwing would be a good estimate though I think.
@megatron9439 do you remember where you red the 72 BC? how can she be larger than Vermithor when he is older and was very active during his life ?
Do make another mythical creatures size next please?
Can you please do tessarion next please
Thankyou :)
My suggestion!!!
Do balerion next please
i see dragon contents I CLICKS
HBO plsssssss make a series on Aegon's conquest
When will I see this 3 historic dragon?
45-50?? I thought she was 70 meters she was the 3rd largerst dragon
👏
goood
can you do the exact size of syrax in season 2
Probably around meley's size
One correction u told vaghar has length of 240 feet but observe battle at rooke rest meleys is half the size of vaghar as per your estimation meleys is 165 feet long when compare to vaghar which is having 360 feet long
Vhagar (during the dance) is far bigger than Meraxes
Do Frankenfish size in the live action movie
❤❤
Serial Killer Grandma? 😅
Make Origin of the Ghosts
Balerion was black the only part of his body that was red were his eyes
Serial killer grandma Vhagar 😂
Then meraxes will be bigger like vermithor
Make Upcoming Monster Movies Tv Shows în 2025 next!!
@@iiialo5206 He was certainly far past his peak when Viserys claimed him. The dragon could barely fly bruv
@@J_ads2000 nevertheless he never stopped growing
@@iiialo5206 He stopped within the last year of his life.
😲👉WOW HE SAID SERIAL KILLER GRANDMA VHAGAR🐉 LOL👈😆
Now we have to wait a really long time. 2 seasons did nothing but say "war is coming"!😂
Except rooks's rest nothing has progressed in the story except dragon seeds which could have been done in one episode.
Nobody cares about your opinion
I just thought it’d be cool if Balerion were alive during the dance and he was on team Green. Team Green needs to be buffed a lot

Nah Vaghar needs to be nerfed, also Balerion couldnt even fly from kings landing to dragonstone according to Viserys
@@ElitePhilosopher
Vhagar really isn’t that strong. The Blacks just overestimate her.
@joeybulford5266 the show actually downplays her a lot compared to the books.
In the books older ment stronger in every way. Scales, teeth, flames, and experience were all increased. Sure, she was slower, but few dragons would want to get that close to her because she so strong she could tear you apart
*Caraxes, even tho he was biting her throat, she ripped off his wing and his belly spilled out*
Fans of the show only think she's only old and weak, when in the books GEORGE stresses that Vhagar was always the greatest threat to all the other riders and the Black's
