Hai means "people" or similar. uruk hai is just "orc people". Saruman just gave them better armor and training than most Uruks. Kroks are really something else, they were foot soldiers in a war against Necrons at the peak of their power. They had to de-evolve into the Orks we know and love today because they never encountered anything even Close to that level of challenge.

He was possibly evolving to becoming Krork. The 2nd known beast is Gazgul and he has brain damage so while he is unsually smart he has not yet been culled by Ork society(most likely because of the brain damage ironicly)
You gotta imagine how powerful the Necrons are if they could take on millions of Krorks way bigger than the Beast (which almost destroyed Terra if it wasnt for the classic GW plot armor for humanity) AND the Eldar at their Prime with all their psyckers and tech AND the Old Ones and their hyper advanced tech. After that they turned around and shafted the C'tan that tricked them and turned them into batteries. If one day GW becomes less lazy and make the Silent King activate the comand protocols to wake up all the Necrons they'll wipe out the galaxy and the warp in a week.

Unless you're talking about the Orc hulks created through fel magic and blood rituals, of which Gurtogg Bloodboil was the first in the game. This is not a natural species though, and were few and far between as they could only be "created" and not "born". So i don't think they count in the same way.

It's generally agreed that goblins and orcs are the same thing in middle earth. Goblin is simply a more commonly used name in Hobbit slang, while Orc comes from elvish. Best example of this is Thorin's sword, 'Orcrist', means 'Goblin Cleaver'
Technically, the Warcraft Orcs shown aren't the biggest. By technicality the Orcs, Ogres(One-head, two-head, and Ogre Lords included), Ogron, Gronn, Goren, Magnaron, Colossals, and Breakers share a lineage with unusually short skips in evolution allowing them to exist simultaneously AND give birth to each other. They're all descended from Elemental Giants undergoing something similar to the Curse of Flesh from Azeroth, but on Draenor. Gronn directly give birth or sire Ogrons who do the same for Ogres. Not really clear WHY such mutations happen or why they randomly breed either their own race or a lesser race, but they do. Maybe as a servant class like worker Ants versus Warriors. Somewhere in there Ogres or Ogron birthed Orcs who are a more genetically, and intellectually, stable race but as descendants of Giants do have outliers who grow taller than other Orcs.
Warcraft orcs are the best, i played wow for 12 years and I’ve always favored orcs and currently play one, i love lines like “me not that kind of orc” and “lok’tar ogar”. Lotr universe is in second place for me, they look much more freaky and intimidating than warcraft orcs, and are not green so they don’t give shrek vibes
