Johnnie Bolin, Bobby Berge, and myself.........do a tribute to him every year......and we see that those tribute concerts do keep his memory alive...and well......I love Tommy.and talk to him many a night before I go to sleep....~
I was lucky enough to be at this '76 concert and working my way all the way up to the front! The Mile High Stadium wasn't even finished being built yet. Tommy was awesome!!!
The first time I saw him was in this Rock n' roll anthology, in a very unique and sexy picture, one of the shoots that I have in my UA-cam channel ( green towel) and I never ever forgot him! That was like 7 years ago! Besides his extraordinary talent, he seemed to be so sweet and loving, a very sensitive man! And so damn gorgeous too! Haha God Bless him! And you too! and all of the fans, family and friends who keep his memory alive! Life never ends....He lives
JohnnyVisionquest, THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH FOR THIS GIFT! THANKS for sharing with everybody this treasure! I'm a new fan, I love Tommy he was a genius and sadly: The Man of my dreams! I wished I was born in the 50's so I could meet him! But at least I can enjoy his music legacy and dream about him!
I was at this show. Colorado Sunday #4 in 1975. Peter Frampton, Steve Miller, Gary Wright, Tommy Bolin, and Natural Gas. First time I saw Tommy and he was dead a few months later, Wow. Thanks.
My old drummer Johnnie Bolin (Tommy's brother) on drums. Now with Black Oak Arkansas. You can hear him on Facebook under Brian Bart Minneapolis the song is Electricity
Yes.............alas..........Stanley and i had not talked to Tommy in a few months because we were on a world tour with Stanley playing with Frampton, and I was playing with Gary Wright...........So we met before and after the concert. Tommy was totally down about the situation with a certain woman that he had loved for many year who was cheating on him.....and he was taking allot of substances to try and mask the pain...we begged him to stop, but just two weeks later......we got the news.:(
We all know about that nasty little lady that broke Tommy's heart. Thank's Bitch for bringing Tommy to an early end. Hope she thinks about him everyday.
Still have the ticket stub. Frampton headlined, with Steve Miller and the Dream Weaver. Rock fuser Bolin could play: stole show far as my crew and I were concerned. He was loved in Denver. Mile high life stood still for a long while after his death. We still play Teaser, Private Eye and his contributions to Purple and James Gang. Don't let your life Post Toastie.
I think you are probably correct. I'm looking for original audio from this concert because I can synchronize the music to the video, if it exists. However the video lines up amazingly well considering it's audio from a different show.
I saw this concert in Denver when I was 16. I believe it was Tommy's last concert before he O.D.ed on heroin in Florida. What a great concert this was.
You say Jonas Brothers-I say Led zeppelin You say Soulja Boy-I say Van Halen You say Miley Cyrus-I say Black Sabbath You say T-Pain-I say Jimi hendrix You say Flowers-I say Ozzy Osbourne You say Pink-I say ACDC You say Pop-I say ROCK!!!!!!!! 92% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop, Rap and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still headbangs to Iron Man message this to another 5 videos. ROCK WILL NEVER DIE !!!

Snake Eyes does Tommy Bolin music extremely well, especially the lead guitar. They're in my friends and favorites for sure.
Awesome video! What a treat to see! Thanks for posting. Do they have an audio recording for this show on cd?
I never saw the sax player, Norma Jean? Where is she now? Awesome, wish I had gone to this concert.
