Was looking at videos for motorcycle lock wiring techniques and this popped up. Couple of interesting ideas here thanks. Also learned that you can get lock wire pliers that twist both ways, very cool. I might grab a pair, if they're not silly money.
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Arturo Reign thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
You went out of your way to mention you ground the serrations off the duck-bill pliers in order to prevent nicking the safety wire. That makes good sense and preventing nicks, kinks, and mutilating the wire is specifically addressed in AC 43.13 at 7-124 G (2). I have safety wire pliers with jaws specifically designed for aerospace applications. Their jaws don't have serrations that would nick and weaken the safety wire, they have a "wave" style jaw that grips the wire without damaging it. Why would you grind off the serrations of the duckbill pliers and not the other pliers you're using?
I’ve listened to so many of your podcasts. Great to see you!

Really clear, step-by-step instructions. Perfect. Thanks!
Easily the best lock wire video I’ve seen. Great explanation through out. Thank you!
I work on aircraft for a living and this is a great example of quality lockwiring. Nicely done, Dean!
Thank you Alex! I appreciate that.
Thanks Dean. This helped my students in Aviation School.
Good video, helps me in my pursuit of excellent workmanship, that’s the dream.
Beautifully done
Great demonstration of how to do this. I've been doing this at work lately and finally got it down. Does take some practice.

AWESOME
Who else is in George t baker learning how to use safety wire
check your first 2 -3 rolls, so tiny . they have to be same like the rest
They "should". Do NOT "have to". These are perfectly acceptable. Dont give bad info.
You ruined a perfect pair of duckbill pliers
They were cheap garbage ones
