Thanks for making this video. This is exactly what I needed to find. You helped me complete an app that's hopefully going to be instated into my school for years to come. Have a good one!
Thanks! Doubt I'll have time for this topic unless I teach the class again. But thanks for the feedback; it's nice to know it still works ... more or less. :)
The first tutorial that actually works with the new Google Fusion Tables! If you try to make Fusion tables work in AI, make sure you use tutorials that have been created in 2016, everything else is obsolete. Thank you so much!
thanks for the video, but I am getting errors and when creating the "Credentials" there seems to be another option of Roles which we need to select. May i know what option should be selected please?
wonder if anybody can help to explain to me, why must i set the FusionTable sharing properties to "Anyone who has the link can view" I tried using the URL that we copy from FusionTable and put into an incognito browser and i can view the content. Then why the sharing and service account credential in the first place?
some people may have a certificate wizard that facilitates importing the service account key. This wizard requires password that protects the key"notasecret"
I'm wondering if there is a way to create and interact with such a database without an internet connection (for instance sharing it with just the local wifi connected devices). I don't have a complete understanding of how such databases work. If anyone has an idea of how to store data, in the form of a table, in a database on local AP, it would be very kind of you to spread some knowledge. To explain it better, I want to store data from 3 sensors (ph, temperature, turbulence) with the additional information of when and where they've been taken (time, latitude and longitude) on local IP from another phone and then with my phone retrieve and use that data (the values from the sensors and the time they've been taken) to make a graph. The two phones are communicating via hotspot (they are locally connected). My teachers have no idea about all that internet stuff, I'm feeling a bit helpless.
Thank you Sir for helping, but the data is not entering in data base and showing some error please Sir, if possibly once solve this problem Sir, waiting for your reply Thank you Sir.
Thanks a lot for the video ! it really help me a lot ! but i'm so sad, it doesn't work. It is saying " 401 Unauthorised {"error":"invalid_client", "error_description": "The OAuth client was not found."}
I tried everything i could do but nothing worked So i think there is a bug in app inventor or something like that And, in my case, i decided to encode the app with android studio a second time I hope it will work
Sorry Mark, this video is realy good! But, after insert name,type Pizza, Drink and Comment gives me an error: Bad column reference NamePlease try Again, Help me please :)

Unfortunately, Fusion Tables have been withdrawn by Google.☹️ support.google.com/fusiontables/answer/9551050
I was struggling a lot with this, I redid it twice, and then I figured out in the table I called it comments instead of comment .-. fml
Glad you figured it out. That's NEVER happened to me. :)
bro just show all your blocks we can't make without knowing the other blocks
