My favorite in all honesty is Prince Kit! He is very kind and likes Cinderella for who she is despite what his father and the duke say. He sticks with her for the whole movie and I find very lovely!
I love him and Eric. I like the others too but not too much on getting to know the princess too much. Eric shares love for adventure and it’s not on looks too much and vocals but personality.
And he recognized her at the ball. He was not confused about who she was at all. I loved how open minded he is to her beliefs and how much he respects her kindness, mind, and beliefs. I think he does see her as strong and resilient even though she shows it in a gentler way. He is my favorite too.

A part of me does wish it was Eric who defeated Ursula because it would’ve shown how he fought for Ariel even after learning she was a mermaid. Ariel saved him in the beginning of the story, and him saving her back is a bold statement of his love and gratitude. It really doesn’t matter that much in the end, but I liked that for the first “modern” Renaissance princess movie, the 1989 TLM had both love interests saving each other.
And also because nobody taught Ariel how to manage a ship. If they wanted so bad for her to save him again they could’ve at least included a little scene of him teaching her how to drive a boat.

literally every scene with kit is top tier but one line that doesnt get talked about ever is at the very end. ella spends the whole movie being kind to everyone around her, living by her mother's adage of "have courage and be kind" but she was never kind to herself, so when she says something slightly negative about her appearance, kit reminds her to be kind TO HERSELF. we stan a cheerleader!

I'm really glad someone else agrees with being sad about Eric not being the one to use the ship to defeat Ursula. I was really disappointed because I then felt like he was just there to be a pretty face
Same. And it’s not like Ariel was a damsel in distress in the original. The main plot point of ALL retellings of this story is when the little mermaid rescues the prince from the shipwreck. So Eric saving Ariel was a pretty nice karma moment because she saved him first.
While I agree that he should have done more, I liked how they foreshadowed her being the one to steer the ship into ursula when she jumped onto and off the rowboat during the fireworks scene. I also liked how they set the scene up and showing how she was closer to the deck of the ship enabling her to go to the steering wheel. But do agree that Eric’s strength was not shown here. Maybe it would have been cute if both of them did it together due to the roughness of the storm.
I'm apprehensive about a live-action Tangled because of how much I already love the animated movie, but if Eugene and Rapunzel’s amazing dynamic is anything like the animated movie, I’ll be happy edit: to the people replying to me, while I love him so much, yes, I agree Eugene could benefit from being aged down Edit 2: Y’all I didn’t mean to cause a fight in the reply section 😭
@@awhimsyreader9015 it's just so weird how they made him that old in the first place, like you could have easily made it not weird and aged him down. I'd be willing to believe him being around as young as Rapunzel at the lowest, although his beard does make him seem at least 20.
@@demetriam2408 Actually it turns out he's 26 once they get married and NOT during the original movie. He was 23 during the original movie and the series is set over 3 years!
Kit for the win!! I absolutely love the actor, the live-action is my favourite , and everything about it is so enchanting! How he meets Ella and then the ball scene... Disney magic right there
Caitlin about Eric: "There was just something abou him in this movie" Me: Dimples. Caitlin: "Maybe it was the fact that we got more of his backstory" Me: DIMPLES!!!
Yeah…. I agree with you about Mulan and Shang. Just because some people fall for each other at work doesn’t mean the relationship is necessarily inappropriate if they don’t *act* on their feelings for each other until AFTER the power imbalance is, well, balanced. Some people just completely misunderstand nuance…
Prince Eric has always been and will always be my favorite Disney prince. I think Jonah did a fantastic job at bringing him to life. I also missed him saving the day
Kit is perfect. Sadly ive only seen that movie twice but i need to watch it more. not only is he a great guy, but he loves his kingdom, didnt care that the woman he loves is basicly a servant, is crazy cute, had a secret garden i would kill for, AND he always trys to be better. Loved the video. Would love to see one about DCOM guys or Dreamworks guys
Yes! The animated scene with Eric saving the day was really meant to hammer home that he would do anything for Ariel. She sacrificed everything to be with Eric, and now he was ready to return that favor. I'm also sick of the forced #girlboss moments. Sometimes being strong means accepting help from the people who love you.
THIS!!! I don't understand the media's need to make women seem so needlessly independent. You can take care of yourself while relying on your loved ones. That's what life is all about!
@@ZarriawithaJ Nah, it's not the sense of urgency. It's the "I DON'T NEED NO MAN. I'M MY OWN WOMAN!!!" type of stuff. That's not inherently bad, but the way it usually comes across is very forced and #woke instead of a progressive, well-rounded, female character I've got degrees in both media studies and sociology so I didn't use the term lightly, I promise 😅
@@the-inatorinatoryeah they are kinda overcompensating especially with the new snow white remake. Although there are periods in some movies where it is necessary.
It is probably my favorite thing about the live-action remakes with how they try to give an equal spotlight to the princes and princesses. Such as how they gave both Jasmine and Eric solos that they did not have in their animated movies. And how they also gave more character story/development to Kit, Beast, and many other characters as well.
Kit will always be my fav live action prince. I remember seeing it in theatre with friends, and how literally ALL of his interactions with Ella just made me go OOooOOoooOOOOOO. The only way I can explain is obviously we all know what second hand embarrassment is like, the mega cringe your body does, so I do that but just when it was tooth rotting-ly sweet
Yes, Prince Eric is the best live action love interest to date! I loved that they gave him more depth by having him collect artifacts from his voyages, similar to Ariel. The scene where he learns Ariel's name while they're stargazing was so beautifully intimate, that I felt like I was intruding on a private moment.
@@AJ-xc4qe OG Eric did have a personality but it bums me out that he didn't like Ariel enough because she was mute and he thought she wasn't the girl he was looking for. Live-action Eric was the most sweetest human that Ariel met and he was even starting to like her more than the mystery girl that saved him
Personally think Eric is the best because they did a complete 180 with how attached I was to him. His emotional side, and how much he loved Ariel made it for me
Other live action princes, you say? I love Char from Ella Enchanted 😍 I love how Ella knocks him down a peg but he's still so respectful to her through the whole movie 😊
Lee Shang is my favorite animated prince and I was really disappointed he had little scenes in the movie. He didn't stand out in the movie. In terms of my favorite live-action prince, it's definitely Kit. He was kind and funny and I loved his character arc.
I LOVE Kit. I never cared much for the animated Cinderella movie, but the life action ist my absolute favorite. And also I'm conflicted at the love at first sight part because I do not believe in love at first sight, but when I met my husband I literally thought for a split second "I'm gonna marry him", and well... 15 years together, 14 married and very happy. It wasn't love at first sight, but I knew. Can't explain it 😅
Kit and Eric are tied for me. I've been a big Eric fan for a while now, so I was already primed to love him. All of the things the movie added to his character made me love him even MORE! Meanwhile Kit took a character I didn't care about and elevated him to someone who was so kind and good and genuinely cared about both his kingdom and the people close to him that I just can't help but love him. I haven't seen the movies with the bottom two, and while I like the Beast and Aladdin, they had characteristics that just don't mesh with my personality. I fully agree that being able to do acrobatics and other physical feats of daring do adds coolness points. Characters I might be friends with, but not romantically interested in.
Prince Eric is my number 1 now. He was always my fav in the animated version, and now that Jonah is his live action counterpart i couldnt possibly love him more. Jonah is so charismatic and charming, but also soft and attentive. I love the depth he gives Eric. But honeslty 90% of it is the way he looks at Ariel. If I could only get a man to look at me that way I'd be set. My number 2 is Kit. Richard Madden is dreamy, and i love how he portrayed Kit and the love he has for his people, his dad, and finally how he didnt let Ella get away.
I love the live-action Cinderella, it’s my favourite one so far and Kit is a great prince! My favourite is Eric though. I love all the additions to the live-action Little Mermaid that show the similarities between Eric and Ariel. Prince Eric in the animated version was my first crush ( he’s kind, likes animals, is funny…) and I am still attracted to dark-haired, blue-eyed guys.
The best in my opinion so far was Kit in Cinderella. Now growing up definitely was never really interested in the Prince Charming cause they never showed his character in the first movie. So I love how they showed his story and his character and definitely he was the best couple with Lily James as Cinderella in the live actions. They were so lovely and had the best connection. Second I would put Aladdin. Aladdin in the original movie he was speaking so beautifully for Jasmine and they kept that in the live action which makes him the sweetest thing ever. By far the most accurate casting for male protagonist in Disney LA. He definitely did his study of his character and felt like the original one in every way. His shy side, his funny side, his romantic side. Third gotta be the beast. The live action was the best thing ever after Cinderella. I love how well the actor played the Beast and how well the emotions were conveyed throughout the movie. I believe the actor was quite close to be equally good with Aladdin but I think Mena Massoud managed to portray better his role. So although both the sweetest gotta give the second so far to him. Now HUGE like HUGEEEEE disappointment for me personally were both Phillip and Eric. Two of my most favourite princes and were butchered for their own reasons. Both actors chosen to be Phillip were cute but just not him. Phillip was cheeky and smart and charming and would do anything for his beloved ones. Now the actors definitely showed some love and care for Aurora but they felt a lot flat. Plus I love how in the original movie Phillip clearly never cared about royal life and having royal marriage and he loved a more carefree lifestyle, while in the LA he felt more dutiful than originally. Eric oh Eric 💀 how they managed to make that sweetheart, cheeky and romantic prince material into that flat, cringe character. I can understand they tried to give him some backstory (although only to justify the changes in the story and the background of it) but I hate how they made him look like the male Ariel. Some might say that was the reason they liked it, BUT for me it took way some of his charm. I loved how in the original story he was similar but also different than Ariel cause that made both complete each other. He had his own hobbies not same as Ariel. He loved how different Ariel was something that I never saw most of the time in the LA cause he was constantly looking for his mysterious girl. I hate how also they took some of his boss scenes and gave it all to the actress that played Ariel just so that they can promote the girl boss energy they have been trying to promote with their new movies. Never will forgive how they changed his character. 🙃 Eric was always considerate, caring and looking after Ariel. He was funny and loving Ariel’s clumsy and cheeky side. He was there to protect her and always accepted her. I always felt in the original movie that when he was looking at her he was respecting her and admiring her for just being carefree. Something that was never portrayed in the LA. Now how people can say his character was only showed in the LA, clearly they have never paid actual attention to how Eric always was. He was by far one of my most favourite male characters and that actor was not even close to how I was expecting Eric to be like in real in character.
love love love ur take on prince eric and i 100% agree. honestly seeing him be so patient when she couldnt talk and still finding a way to communicate with her was genuinely so adorable. just seeing them actually explore the island was great since the whole reason she wanted to get up on the surface was to be APART OF THEIR WORLD wayyy before she even knew he existed. she had an entire cave filled with thingamabobs for goodness sake. so the fact that she got to be shown so much of the world through his collections (which by the way was sooo cute that they both shared that hobby) and thhen for him to actually show her around and have her first horse ride. ugh this live action was done so right. i could go on about how much i love it but i loved ariel and halle is a beautiful singer who captured every magical note in her voice. I WISH THEY FIXED HIS HAIR THOUGH. THEY DID HIM SOOOO DIRTY.
I love that Eric is #1!! I was super nervous about this remake, because Ariel has always been one of my favorite princesses. I ended up LOVING it!! I thought they did an amazing job of giving Eric great character development and so much more depth than they give most of the male roles in Disney movies. I was equally invested in both of their stories, and it made their romance that much more wanted. I do agree, though, that Ariel saving the day at the end felt like a forced "girl power" moment that was clearly changed from the original, which most people would notice. But I was pleasantly surprised that the rest of the movie was not as "in your face" about how strong and independent she was, but focused on each of their desires and dreams and them both growing as people. I'd love to see you rank 2000's "prince" characters from movies like Ella Enchanted, Princess Diaries, A Cinderella Story, etc...
Kit will always and forever be my favorite ❤ The scene when his father is dying and tells Kit to go find the girl, and with Kit curled up next to him as he dies, is so so wholesome 😭
Kit has always been my favorite, along with the live action Cinderella in general. Much like what you said about getting a little tired of seeing "girl power" moments thrown into a movie to prove a woman's strength, I've grown really tired of so much emphasis being put on bolder, wittier, more rambunctious/rebellious personalities in movies as a way to justify why this character is worthy of being interested in as the main character. As a more chill and sometimes even shy personality, it's always been so refreshing to me to watch two fundamentally generous and decent people fall in love in a way that values characteristics their society tends to overlook. Those stories are worth telling too! Even though their fun to watch, not every relationship in film has to be fast-talking or contentious in nature. Kit and Cinderella prove that gentler rapports can display just as much chemistry and I just love that for us
Oh god, why did disney have to get their live-action hands on Tangled. Hopefully this at least results in a TTS renaissance and (hopefully) disney picking up VatSK.
18:25 I disagree with this. I don't think Ariel had a forced 'girl power' moment. From a storytelling point it makes more sense for Ariel to defeat Ursula. Ursula is her aunt, she stole Ariel's voice, 'killed' her father, and Ariel started this whole situation due to Ursula's manipulation. Eric got that moment in the original as his big character point to show his love for Ariel, we didn't need that here because he spent the whole movie showing his affections and his love for her. So Ariel got to defeat her villain and finish out her story.
I agree with this. I wonder how it will be if they defeated her together, but like your explanation of the scene. I also felt it was foreshadowed in the firework scene when you see her jump onto and off the rowboat making the defeating ursula scene less forced.
I agree. As a child I never liked that Eric killed ursula. I wanted it to be Ariel because it's her movie, so I was really happy that I got this version now
@@livvioletta690It makes sense for Eric to kill Ursula in the animated movie but in the live action, it's not cool to kill your gf family members even if they are heinous
My favourite is definitely Kit from Cinderella. I mean that smile and those eyes alone have me won. And he’s so sweet! No other prince can compete with that.
I’m obsessed with Kit. Honestly I think the Cinderella remake is the best. It is so wholesome and beautiful. Kit is the most swoon worthy prince. Also I feel completely the same way about Prince Eric not getting his save the day moment in TLM remake. I was definitely disappointed though I liked the movie overall.
I wholeheartedly agree with your entire ranking, especially placing live action Eric as no1, he is the absolute best, the little mermaid shook me to the core honestly!
Yeah I must admit, Eric on the live action ver. is really surprised me in a good way. and Jonah as the cast is actually a decent choice. I re-watching the movie just for him...
I also forgot there was a love interest in the Mulan remake lmao. And the Beast really can jump! haha I totally agree with this ranking. And I am a little bias as the movies the top 3 princes are from are my fave live actions but your reasoning was on point. And I do wish Eric still got his save the day moment too, but I was so impressed with how they gave Eric more of a backstory so it balanced out. Also I just rewatched Princess Diaries 2 and ugh Chris Pine's character (Nicholas) is still the love interest ever! Also their enemies to lovers story
im so glad you mentioned about erics scene being stolen!! I HATED that change, it made it seem as if Ariel was the only one giving and sacrificing herself to be with him, and Eric did absolutely nothing. It made them have an equal level ground in the animated film
Y’all keep in mind for Ariel defeating Ursula we see something a lot like that in the broadway little mermaid where she kills Ursula by smashing her shell which is apparently like a horcrux that Ursula’s life is tied to while Ursula just uses the trident to sweep Eric and his boat away. So however you swing the final battle whoever between the two defeats Ursula shouldn’t make that much a difference On that horcrux subject back when Disney himself was drafting Sleeping Beauty one of his ideas was for the spinning wheel and spindle Aurora pricks her finger on to be indestructible (and apparently alive) hence why it exists while all other spinning wheels were destroyed and in the final battle when Maleficent dies the spinning wheel finally breaks so it’s tied to Maleficent and indestructible as long as she’s alive
Thank you for being like the only channel on the internet to talk about the live actions in a positive light. I have really good experiences with a lot of them!
I'm thinking you really just wanted to put the comment out there that you were a lesbian. "I'm not like the other girls." If you like a character, what does it have to do with your sexual orientation? Like you can't possibly enjoy any male character ever because they are just so "icky" and "eww boys." 🙄
I totally felt the same about them taking away Eric’s defeat of Ursula. I really loved him and would probably rank him first myself too so I was just waiting for that heroic moment. But it didn’t happen so there really wasn’t a pay off for him. Ariel already saved Eric so we know she’s capable and strong, that act of bravery is what was supposed to convince Triton that not all humans are bad but it never happened. (Same thing happened in a production of the little mermaid musical I was in and it made not sense) I’m tired of Disney’s need to showcase girl boss characters. Like their great and all but I want a story where love isn’t seen as weak and both the princess and the prince get to be compelling characters. It’s getting to the point where the issues we’ve had with female characters in the past are now just being shifted to the male characters so no real change is being made. They really only do this kind of stuff to seem politically correct and keep the wheels of the Disney machine turning they don’t actually care about having well written characters and that’s really saddening. Not to mention in this version Ariel had to kill her own aunt. Granted she was evil but having Ariel murder anyone has got to life scaring.
I am undoubtedly a fan of the live actions, but I really don’t want them to touch any of the ones that aren’t even 20 years old yet. Tangled, Frozen, Princess and the Frog, and Moana need more time in between. I liked seeing the new developments they made to the older ones, but I think Tangled is a near perfect movie, so I don’t think anything they do will ever live up. Would much rather them focus on bringing the stage show to Broadway. Cinderella (2015) was the perfect remake though, and honestly my favorite telling of the Cinderella story.
My personal ranking is 1. Kit- his smile, his eyes, his charm, everything you mentioned, screams Prince Charming. He's kind, hes thoughtful, and that dance scene 😢 beautiful. The fact he knows its Ella when he sees her, no matter how she looks, its amazing 2. Eric- The way he protects Ariel, fights for her, his longing to travel the world and for something more, making him more like Ariel, mwah *chefs kiss* He cares for animals, he can dance, etc 3. Beast- Like you said, he gave Belle everything, sang a power love ballad, and he truly changed 4. Aladdin- He is a bit of a liar but so is Jasmine, but his heart is pure 5. Phillip- Honestly neutral cuz Ive never seen Maleficent 2 but he was ok I guess. 6. Honghui- I never saw Mulan but if it isnt Shang I dont want him 😑
There is no need for me to type out my personal list. We share the same ranking! I loved Kit so much! Out of all of the princes, he had the most refreshing character improvements. I always knew Eric was a good guy, but for some, they needed the live-action to finally admit it.
I'm so happy to see Prince Eric as #1. I didnt care for him in the animated version but he so won me over in the live action, to the point I went to see the movie like 3 times in theaters just for him
I’m one of the few people who unironically enjoys the live-action remakes so I am totally down for this ranking! I feel like a lot of the love stories and characterizations of the characters are improved in the remakes that made it to theaters. Going to see the films has been a tradition of mine since Cinderella came out!! I personally really like Aladdin and probably prefer him to Eric, but also I’ve only seen The Little Mermaid once and Aladdin like three or four times (twice in theaters).
100% right on Aladdin-Eric rankings. Eric is THE PRINCE of Disney LA remakes tbh he's perfect. Not a single other Prince compares. He had me giggling and blushing in the theatres lmao The chemistry between her and Halle's Ariel was off the charts. The whole boat scene made me feel like the third wheel. I say all this as someone who did NOT care about the animated Eric. I thought the Eric in the cartoon was shallow, superficial and unlikeable.
You know I’ve been thinking a lot about this and everyone gives shit to the Princesses and Princes for falling ‘in love’ at first sight but back in the day you’d be lucky to even meet the person you were going to marry before the wedding day. Like the prince from Cinderella for instance in the live action, they are holding a ball for him so he can find a bride. So who is he going to pick, a stranger at a ball trying to throw themselves at him or someone he at least knows has a kind heart and he feels a connection with?
1 will always be Kit for me, just a massive glow up from the original in terms of personality and relationships, and Richard in those pants… But Phillip deserves dead last, cause he’s my 2nd fav animated prince and the movies did him unbelievably dirty.
I like Aladdin but love Eric,Kit,Philipp! I don't like Beauty and the Beast movie. I watched the new Little Mermaid movie and I love it! Hallie Berry was the best as Ariel and having the original Ariel (Jodi Beson) in the village was the best! I seriously hope that Disney doesn't do a live-action Tangled movie and more. I know about the new Snow White movie but idk on it.
I was confused why they never made Jodie Benson the Queen/ Eric's mother. But she's not really an actress and you needed a trained "actor" to deliver those lines that sound a little prejudiced but not make you hate the character. BUT why do Jodie Benson a disservice like that? There could be backlash
"you know what, maybe my true calling in life is ranking men" [instant like] I love your videos but that made me giggle before I even watched the video
You absolutely must rank all princes in all Cinderellas and Cinderella remakes (iff you can find all of them, if not the ones you find will suffice...please know that there are more than 10 so feel free to make it a series) . . . 😁
My vote is def Kit at the tip top. But Eric and Aladdin are cool too. But I can’t for the life of me get past all the lying in Aladdin. Where Kit lied once so he could be seen as himself, Aladdin lied constantly to be someone other than who he was. It’s a killer for me even though I love Aladdin as a film still. More of a heartbreaking thing for me. Also, yes on Robert and Giselle!!
Ngl, a little offended that my man Kit didn’t make the top 3, but I’ll give this one a slide. I really detested the new Little Mermaid with my entire being so I’m a bit biased lol. I just hated the story changes, it felt and read like a bad fanfiction. And I felt the same exact way. In the OG version there was a balance. Ariel saves him, and then Eric saves her. In the new version it’s all put on Ariel which yah I’m the same way, I’m sick of them doing that lol.
ALSO. I too felt like I was in the honeymoon phase with my then boyfriend a year later…four years later we got married and I still feel that way:) I like to say if the honeymoon phase never leaves, you picked the right one.
Wow I'm the opposite I hated the cartoon Little Mermaid. I for the life of me could never understand why people like you loved that cartoon so much. I only liked the music but the story was basic as f*ck. Compared to other Disney animated films LM was not in my top 5 at all I thought Ariel was just okay same with Eric. To me Halle made me like Ariel. But you sound like a purist and we're gonna go in biased from the get go and probably didn't even like that Halle was casted. Which makes me mad cause my top 3 Disney animated films are Lion King, Aladdin, and Mulan and those live adaptations were bad. But to me the best live adaptations are Cinderella, Jungle Book and Little Mermaid and I didn't like those cartoons. So to me your lucky cause I think Halle did a good job of making me go from not liking a cartoon character to actually appreciating Ariel. So to me ya'll didn't deserve Halle, but whatever. That's usually how ya'll are with black women.

I honestly forgot about Mulan's love interest too xD And I never watched Maleficent 2, I wasn't a fan of the first one, I love so much Maleficent as the villain that I was kinda disappointed when they made her a nice person. So Philip didn't marked me. If I should rank the other four, it would be the Beast in fourt, Aladdin in third, Eric in second and Kit in first. There's something about Kit that I can't explain that made me love him so much. The scenes with Ella were so cute, but I also really like how they gave him a friend in the Captain of the guard, and how they explored his relationship with his dad. Otherwise, he's just so charming (like is name), his eyes are everything, I love how his smile could be seen in his eyes (it's where the expression smiling with your eyes takes sense), and his whole personality was so good! I was surprised by Eric in the live action movie, I wasn't expecting much for him but as you said, his backstory was a nice addition. They took time to develop him, and his relationship with Ariel was very cute!!

Such a good point! I never really though of his saving her as a call back to her saving him, but I love that!
And also because nobody taught Ariel how to manage a ship. If they wanted so bad for her to save him again they could’ve at least included a little scene of him teaching her how to drive a boat.

@@whatalsaid exactly! It was the one thing about him that stands out, it distinguishes him from everyone else. Now he's just Eric, Ariels boyfriend.

And how they also gave more character story/development to Kit, Beast, and many other characters as well.

You say that like the original Eric didn't have a personality.
@@AJ-xc4qehe really didn't, although he had more than most. He was just a rebellious charicature.

Can't explain it 😅
Mulan and the witch for me was the true ''love story'' since they actually shared chemistry and Honghui just felt like a friend for the entire movie
Ngl im not a live action remake lover so i haven't seen most of these movies but i will say Kit is just that Prince. Like he just is!!
I love Kit! He is so sweet, so I think he's my favorite out of the princes XD
THEY DID HIM SOOOO DIRTY.
so many negative things to say even though i loved the movie lol
Prince Kit will always be my favorite Disney prince. Him and Ella are just so cute together.❤
Pls make a video on your favorite TV siblings or BFFs
You're right about the girlboss "I can save myself" becoming too overblown at this point
The shot when Kit first sees Cinderella at the ball always makes me SOB 😭😭😭

For me, it was the longing Eric had for Ariel that had me. God, the way he looked at her melted me.

I feel the same way about Prince Eric. He was so much better in the live action.
So however you swing the final battle whoever between the two defeats Ursula shouldn’t make that much a difference
On that horcrux subject back when Disney himself was drafting Sleeping Beauty one of his ideas was for the spinning wheel and spindle Aurora pricks her finger on to be indestructible (and apparently alive) hence why it exists while all other spinning wheels were destroyed and in the final battle when Maleficent dies the spinning wheel finally breaks so it’s tied to Maleficent and indestructible as long as she’s alive
Thank you for being like the only channel on the internet to talk about the live actions in a positive light. I have really good experiences with a lot of them!
I love these live-action Disney princes!
Thank you sooo much for puting Eric so high on the listttttttttt
As a lesbian, I don't get it, but you still make these fun to watch. 😂
same lol
Ace and sapphic and I mostly understood the "he can jump far, which is really impressive" 😂

I'm thinking you really just wanted to put the comment out there that you were a lesbian. "I'm not like the other girls." If you like a character, what does it have to do with your sexual orientation? Like you can't possibly enjoy any male character ever because they are just so "icky" and "eww boys." 🙄
@@7ab3thait’s not that serious 💀
They should cast the actor who plays Addison in Zombies as Rapunzel for the live action one and idk who they should cast as Eugene
My personal ranking is
1. Kit- his smile, his eyes, his charm, everything you mentioned, screams Prince Charming. He's kind, hes thoughtful, and that dance scene 😢 beautiful. The fact he knows its Ella when he sees her, no matter how she looks, its amazing
2. Eric- The way he protects Ariel, fights for her, his longing to travel the world and for something more, making him more like Ariel, mwah *chefs kiss* He cares for animals, he can dance, etc
3. Beast- Like you said, he gave Belle everything, sang a power love ballad, and he truly changed
4. Aladdin- He is a bit of a liar but so is Jasmine, but his heart is pure
I didnt care for him in the animated version but he so won me over in the live action, to the point I went to see the movie like 3 times in theaters just for him
Eric and Ariel chemistry in the live action>>>>>>
Before I even watched this I was like Eric is my #1! And I’m glad you agree
Finally another Evermore enjoyer. This song doesn't get the proper love and hype it deserves. Like it's a PEAK main hero's song.
evermore is genuinely a MASTERPIECE, like, i cry every single time i hear it
100% right on Aladdin-Eric rankings.
Had to look to the end to see if Eric was 1 because he’s soooooooo 💕🫶🩷
The reason you probably love eric so much is bwcause hes the disney version of Antonio from Barbie Island Princess
1 will always be Kit for me, just a massive glow up from the original in terms of personality and relationships, and Richard in those pants…
But Phillip deserves dead last, cause he’s my 2nd fav animated prince and the movies did him unbelievably dirty.
eric was definitely improved in the live action change my mind
"you know what, maybe my true calling in life is ranking men" [instant like]
I love your videos but that made me giggle before I even watched the video
Honestly Caitlin, your recaps of these are better than the actual movies
I did like Kit. He was humble and kind .
Can I just take a moment to say that your fringe always looks impeccable
Haven’t watched yet but Prince Kit and Prince Eric better be top 👏 tier 👏
Fave Disney Live action prince is Edward from enchanted
@@laurenj6802 GTFO with your attitude!! People can dislike a remake. To assume I’m some racist because I didn’t like a movie is wild and completely inappropriate. But I can tell you’re under 25 so I’ll let it slide, but know that your mindset is dangerous.
Not Tangled... That movie is perfection and should not be touched.
I honestly forgot about Mulan's love interest too xD
And I never watched Maleficent 2, I wasn't a fan of the first one, I love so much Maleficent as the villain that I was kinda disappointed when they made her a nice person.
My favorite didn’t make the list 😢 it’s the prince from Mirror Mirror. He was adorable!
i have to disagree with Kit being in 3rd, that man is 1st place for me
Any guy played by richard madden is my favorite guy
also is like a really important quality when you're gonna be marrying a fish 16:43
I'm so glad to hear someone talk about how much they love the live action remakes, I'm so tired of the hate they don't deserve (at least some of them)
you never miss 😤
My ranking:
6. Honghui
5. Philip
4. Beast
3. Eric
2. Aladdin
1. Kit
