But THIS song? Genuinely excellent to my ears on first listen. The song/riff structures remind me of something off Deftones Koi No Yokan album. And that's a very very good thing.

When Pete sings “So Looooong” - it gives me goosebumps, all the hairs stand up on my body. I’m no vocal expert but that’s insanely talented.

Genuinely a top notch vocal, absolutely floored me. The note choice is insanely good, some really interesting intervals in there, and so much soul and energy in the performance. Honestly it's just so good to see these guys performing at the best of their career when you'd much more expect some guys with beer guts sadly performing "The Red" at festivals.

hell yeah, mars simula and this are first two heavy electric guitar songs i ever learned.. this past week.. in two days lol along w guitar for three others on it... man, good shit. but yeah, i get the goosbumps and i can actually sing and play this, its phenomenal work from a vet 8 years my elder! So looooooonnnnngngnuayyiiii! thats killer the second part of the chorus..
This is like Wonder What’s Next, Sci-fi crimes and la Gargola merged into an album. This is one of the best Chevelle records and probably the best in 12 years. These guys really outdid themselves this time.
The most Vena Sera song on the album
I was just telling a buddy that I think this may be their best album to date. It's fucking sickly good. Vocals are amazing as always but something is unique about them on this in that they're so clear. Love how heavy this is.

That scream at 4:00 made the hair stand up on my arms. The whole song is incredible with an awesome hook and chorus....but that ending, definitely my favorite on the album

Easily one of their best songs ever, and that amazing guitar riff during the chorus is probably the most metal moment of their career. That bad ass riff is reminiscent of something you'd hear from a Gojira album. Love it!

This album is amazing, the lyrics, sound and melody are great. An absolute masterpiece. This is their best album so far. I don't get tired of listening to it. Love it.
I thought Self Destructor was my new favorite Chevelle song, but then I heard this piece of Scripture. I feel as if I'm grounded in the middle of nowhere, in awe of the entire universe folded within my reach. It's a flowing river, and it feels good to let go of the menial tasks of this box land. Cevelle is like a fixed point in time. They exist because they are a legend. They create in real time, by being what is needed. Their intended meaning that they put into a song is like a light traveling through a prism, with all the interpretations of the rainbow on the other side of the speaker

Being here before the tens of millions of views this will undoubtedly have, I must say that you struck gold here. This is gonna be a really popular song and for good reason. I haven't felt this inescapably drawn to Chevelle in some time. You've always been a staple in the music diet I have, but this is a stand alone album.

But this record, words can't even express how insanely good it is. And it came at such the best time, for everyone. This album will undoubtedly be their best work
