2004+ GMT800 are returnless, corvette was return style same with the vans up to a different year, gen 4 sbc are in the isuzu npr as a 5.3 or 6.0L. I could review a 3yo vid from rh to get like 400-500 hp on the 4.8 via a really tall cam but I think I will just stick to the TSP Chopacabra as I'm not reving out that high. My favorite dust cover was the 1999-2002 Vortec (Rectangular). I did buy a Gen 3 intake not knowing it was a dry intake as I was having a weird coolant leak, its a spare, i may drop it online for 70 bucks.
@@Ralf1NATOR 😄 gravel driveway is how I roll. That truck has only been on a trailer once, the fuel pump died 30+ miles from home. Then it was on a rollback about a year ago when the lifter failed. Other than that, it makes the drive home. I've owned it 8.5 years now, haven't put a ton of miles on it per se'. But it certainly gets used as a truck.
Oh just fyi. I picked up my injectors last Saturday and my fuel rail install kit from summit came in yesterday. As soon as my sons play offs are over it will finally be wrench time. I appreciate the encouragement 🙏
@@Ralf1NATOR fortunately, he brought me a Painless Wiring kit. But it's still spaghetti - just color-coded/labeled. They make the kit for and school carbureted vehicle, so I'll be sifting through and separating all of those wires.

I just realized that the slide with the part numbers for the fuel filter and fuel line says - "fuel filter" twice. Oh well, you get the gist.

Now i don't know why you start the video off with your truck all in the dirt. We all know she's a trailer queen 😂

I noticed in your comments you used 8.1 injectors, would the plug for the injectors be the same if i was to install in a 2000 gmc Sierra?
@@frankygambrell6913 yes, the 8.1L truck injectors are mini Delphi like the stock injectors. They look identical
other than the part number.
Im thinking about buying that exact fuel line you have w the c5 corvette regulator, do you recommend it?

Sounds good, it’s perfect for the fit, I was just wondering if you had any problems with it but I love the factory look👍🏽thank you!
@luipulido4571 YW and no problems at all, it has been a reliable setup.
Great video! Did you have to use the intake adapter plate?
@@KeepitReal-wn4zj I did not, it's a cathedral port intake. Matches up to the heads no problem.

@@KeepitReal-wn4zj 4 bolt. I have a Nick Williams 92mm TB on my truck.
Are u still running the regular fuel filter on frame or was it deleted
Still running the one in the factory location too, on the framerail - under the cab.
Could you run e85 with this setup , by connecting the e85 sensor to the fuel rail and to the fuel filter?
@@Humbertoponcejr I still need to swap the injectors and load the tune. But I have added the sensor and wiring since this video.
Where you find the injectors at or what link you find them
I got them from Rock Auto for a good price. I looked them up for a 2003 3500HD with the 8.1L
Did you use stock truck injectors? On tbss
Yes, I'm running 8.1L non marine injectors.
To clean the stock dbw tb, do you think i should just stick with a nylon brush? Would scotchbrite damage it?
Just trying to get the corrosion off of it? I'd think a gray scotch Brite would be soft enough for that.

@@shadowopsairman1583 in that case, I'd just wipe it out. That's common in these trucks. A proper catch can solves most of it.
Did you have to run another fuel line from rail to connection at firewall
The fuel lines at the firewall connect to the Corvette fuel filter. Then the Corvette fuel line goes from the filter to the rail.
