So far so good. i saw him in 8 Episodes and he looks great. I can see myself watching Star Trek for many more years with Ed Speleers as Jack Crusher,

I think he is PatricK Stewart's equal in their scenes, Ed Speelers is so great as Jack! Masterful with portraying a full amazing range of emotions! I so enjoy his scenes and hope Ed / Jack gets another show 😊

He did his homework, where his character is has both qualities of both his legendary parents and it was and is so believable! Thanks for sharing! Love Ed Speleers!

I'm 3 episodes into the season (finally!) and I love it so far. I was struck instantly by how dynamic and strong Ed's performance as Jack really was going to be. Granted, we didn't meet him until the last two minutes of episode 1! That pretty much nailed down the fact that I was going to watch episode 2 immediately, lol. Honestly, the cast, the music, the sets, even the credits: it's just a beautiful show.

Ed Speleers has a future with Trek, if they continue and if he wants it.
He will make a Great Captain.

Eragon is what it's called 👍 we are the same age in 1988 but 3 months older than Eragon 😁👌 I am almost 36 years old and always watch Eragon 2016 and never get bored, I am a big fan of Edward Speleers, his role is so good 👍👍👍👍👍

What do you mean? he's playing a role? there's obvious tension between he characters as any Father and Son who have never met and then meet in life-threatening circumstances...

You're confusing 'interacting well' with 'interacting positively'
The two characters have great scenes together and, given their circumstances, were _very_ unlikely to meet with a big bear hug and go and play catch.
