What disturbs me is that this person seems surprised that TH is naturally acting like a decent human being. What should surprise people in indecency. That’s the point I’m trying to convey.

He's quite proud of Cloud Atlas, as rightfully so. It's one of the great cinematic achievements of the past decade, regardless of how idiots didn't support it.

But, I need to change topics for a moment. The chandeliers in the background caught my eye. Their shape and style look like quantum computers. Does anyone know ANYTHING more about them? (Reason: When people see a model of a quantum computer, many ask how they could buy something like it as a chandelier for their home. These might be as close as you can get. I'd love to be able to tell them about it.)
aside from the shape, and not even really that, they dont look anything like a quantum computer, and they look jeweled, they dont look much different than any other classic crystal chandelier to me.
@@JustinKrux Artistic taste is subjective and individualistic. I think it looks more like a quantum computer than Poul Henningsen's Artichoke Lamp looks like an artichoke. Your mileage may vary.

It’s awesome to hear it confirmed that Tom Hanks is such a big Star Trek fan. I remember back in the day, Tom Hanks was going to play Zefram Cochran in Star Trek: First Contact, the man who invented the Warp Drive which resulted in humanity’s 1st contact with an alien, an event that Star Treks entire history is built upon. From what I heard of the time Hanks was very excited to do it but there ended up being a scheduling conflict and James Cromwell ended up playing the character in the film. James Cronwells great in the movie, it’s actually one of my favorite Star Trek Films. I’d love to see Tom Hanks in a future Star Trek project. They’re not done with that universe ye. He could play a role in one of the new films or one of the television shows.

I would argue, (as someone with little to no interest in Star Trek) that Star Trek is a cultural phenomenon and knowing at least a little about it is something that should be encouraged. scholar of all, master of none is the best way to engage all sorts of minds and personalities.
