The owners of the Dali should pay for every cost involved , 6 funerals for the victims, Salvage costs, plus the cost of a new bridge .

2.32 "we have a fullnfocus on ensuring that the critical infrastructure that we have in the state is not just protected but then we're continuing to come with long-term reinforcements for them as well now"
Such statements show that the legal process, which focuses on holding the owner of the ship Dali accountable for everything that happened, is flawed. The legal process emphasizes that bridges do not need to be protected by structures, but ships must be functional and must not collide with bridges. The governor Wes Moore's statement therefore contradicts the perspective of the legal process, because he is actually saying that the protection of bridges against collisions during construction has been neglected.

Good luck, most of these shipping companies are not easy to sue because most are broken up in to smaller non existent companies

They should confiscate the dali, whatever it is worth, plus the cost of the cleanup, whatever else and it cost to get the bridge back to normal.

Does not matter. Let them do what they want. Right? The main thing is that the culprit is anyone other than the one who decided that the pillars of the bridges do not have to withstand being hit by a container ship. Right?

I’ve been trying to figure this out since the beginning. Did they all have jobs to do on the ship that meant they could not go ashore? If they went ashore, would they have had anywhere to go?

Why don't they make pontoon bridge guards that can be floated into place to protect these precious Bridges. It would be so simple, just seal off sections of pipe with attachments on both ends.

You are completely clueless. Don’t comment on what you know nothing about.

If the Bay Bridge Collapse it's going to be a nightmare, especially if you're trying to get to and from eastern shore. I hope you didn't give anyone ideas by saying the bridge is fragile.

That bridge is tall enough with supports wide enough. Key Bridge was taken out because it couldnt be raised or widened, and shipping channel was already maxxed-out. the ORG named CONSPIRA has a 40 part series looking deeply into all aspects

If they cutting up and removing small sections of the very large fallen bridge section laying on the port side of and bow of this Container Ship first.
Then afterwards move over to the Starboard side of the Container Ship, to start cutting up and removing small sections of the other very large fallen bridge section on the Starboard side and bow too
There is a risk of the Container Ship being more damaged, or the bow being pushed sideways into the main channel or into the soft bottom.
Instead they may work from both outer ends of these two very large fallen bridge sections, which are in the water and towards the Container Ship's Port and Starboard hull sides and bow.
in the hope the remaining fallen bridge sections section fall away from the Container Ship not towards it, then it becomes much easier to remove bridge sections from the water and bottom, than from on top and around the Container Ship with less risk to the ship's bow and hull too.
It still will be a fine balancing job, of cutting and supporting remaining very large bridge sections too.
It maybe a good idea though, to remove as many or all the above deck undamaged Shipping Containers, from the Container Ship as possible, first on to barges and return them to the Port of Baltimore too, to lighten this Container Ship for refloating and fulling out backwards by tugboats.
the one question no one answered, once the Container Ship is refloated and clear of the bridge too, what happens to this very damaged Container Ship and where will she being taken too?
As no way is she sea worthy or safe to cross the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, go through the Suez Canal, then risk the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. Afters cross the Indian ocean into the South China Seas heading for Singapore her home port, or go back to South Korea where she was built, for major repairs!
So is there somewhere on the American Eastern Seaboard, this Container Ship can be taken under tow and escort from tugboats, for repairs and dry docking (which can hold a 1,000 feet plus long ship) for inspection alone?
As the only American Dry Dock facilities that are that big, on the Eastern Seaboard, are the ones for US Navy Aircraft Carriers, are they not?
So what does happen to this Container Ship, once refloated, just left somewhere in Baltimore at anchor or long side a pier etc for the next coming months or years?
