This is my first video i've watched in over a couple of years. I'm glad the 'bwhat's up' is still around too. I think the 'bwhat's up' is from at least when he became a big time UA-camr, if not earlier.
These are legit. Taylors video was awesome given it’s out of the box that we out action cameras in. The ramps on the car video were sick. But I truly think Taylors was the best use because of the photo and video use.
Ok, it worked. Just ordered my first action cam. What really sold me to try this is Taylor's video. That's real world what I can see me doing only at a 10% level of her. But that will be happy times. And if it's a bust I have grandkids I can pass it on too. Thanks - Tim
You have been a great presence and influence on the photography, videography and UA-cam scene and it is amazing that you are using your platform to help highlight and gain support towards other growing influencers as well. Not only do you pave the way, but you help lay the ground work, that is inspiring.
Damn, Peter is so good at what he does and so inspiring. He’s literally the reason I kept with photography after a few years away from it. He’s also the reason I started my own channel for absolute beginners. Tho I absolutely need to get my video skills leveled up tho. Thanks for the years of learning and inspiration, Peter!
(7:06) I just paused the video to write this comment... And OMG Kaden.Creative.... WOW! 😮😮😮😮... Just WOW! I've NEVER Seen transitions that clean and well.... Creative.... Props! 👏🏾
We've been creating videos with Matt using our GoPro 11 and me (Kristina) filming and shooting photos on the Canon R6. Matt has an incredible eye for composition and he sees crazy-fun angles, but his eyesight is slowly deteriorating. Having a GoPro allows him to still strut his creativity and using vastly different cameras gives a lot of variety to our videos. I have a blast editing the combined footage. (We also throw in some drone footage for fun - Matt was a pilot). Yes. We also use it for skiing, hiking, river rafting, and adventuring in the Colorado Rockies and adventuring throughout Mexico, Baja, and hopefully Canada. Just an unexpected use for action cameras. Our channel wouldn't be the same without ours. Oh, did I mention the low-light time lapses for sunrise and sunset and easy vlogging? Amazing - and that's using the GoPro 11 Creators addition. I'm sure the Insta360 is awesome. Maybe someday.
Didn't really discuss GoPro at all. Just showed travel styled videos that went out of fashion in 2018. Am I wrong? Just an observation as wanted to see GoPro's "RECKONING"
How generous of you Peter! I'm a 67- soon to be 68 - year old who will be using my Ace Pro for non-action vlogging. If I had to choose only one of the three entrants it would be Dusty....no wait....Kaden....on third thought....Taylor....no, hold on....ALL THREE!!
Awesome to see Taylor’s work here. She’s so talented. And it shows that gear helps but a great photographer can take beautiful photo’s even on “an actioncam”.
Low light on the insta360 is something I’d love to try out more. I think day time there’s not much difference, but night time shots. Boom. 🤯 so want to try it out. 🎉
My biggest gripe with insta360 is they never have many floaty options. I surf every single day and would love a good camera that I can take with me. So far, GoPro is one of the only ones that makes it easy.
Loved this video and the creator videos! As a rookie content creator, here’s my take on these types of action cameras. Unfortunately, I don’t own an Ace Pro (yet). But I do have the X3 and the GO 3. I do mostly food content which isn’t something you’d probably think of doing with action cams. Since I do this as a hobby on top of my full-time job, and I don’t always have someone to hold cameras for me, I need to find the easiest solution to shoot my footage. I’m doing my third year of a personal challenge cooking, capturing, editing, captioning, and posting daily every single day of February. And by the way, it’s a barbecue challenge, so it’s outside. I’ve been shooting a ton of my footage with the GO 3 on the neck string. Most of my shots have been POV style There’s been a bit of struggle when I can’t shoot before the sun goes down, but for the most part this camera has helped me get through my challenge every day so far. A bigger sensor and better low light performance would definitely have helped each of my shoots in darker situations, but I’m getting something out every single day so far. I’m a huge fan, and I eventually will own the Ace Pro as well. Peter, If you’re in the mood for some brisket, you’re welcome to drive down Young St. 20 minutes and help me shoot the last clip of a 16 hour cook tomorrow. 😊 All the best.
My favorite thing about action cameras is how easy it is to find used ones on the facebook marketplace on the cheap in my area when I want one for some dumb reason.
I've been looking at this and the new X4 from insta to replace my GoPro's. I do like the GoPro and it's suited to my niche (wild camping) but I think it's time to evolve.
Actor, Photographer, Filmmaker and Vegas NATIVE, def a lil biased , I Def wanted Taylor to win, her style, eye and comp using an action cam was very impressive. But I can't lie, Kaden with his creativity, sound design and hella smooth editing KILLED it. Either way, LOVED seeing my Vegas people on such a huge channel like PM! Overall amazing job, Pete come to Vegas brotha! - K Nine
I like the GoPro 12 because it has built-in timecode, and I can use multiple cam for a shoot, and easy sync in post. Earlier models have this in using GoPro Labs firmware update.
This video! It’s why… I watch… Your channel, Peter!! Product review - covered! While sharing the talents of a broad range of creators. I’d have to admit a bias towards Taylor’s contribution. Perfect mix of still and video - under challenging lighting conditions - I mean, really - take neon photos at night! Humbling experience. I was fortunate enough to have met, on numerous occasions, Fred Herzog, yet bowed to his mastery of this form of visual expression. Thanks, Peter. I will find the opportunity, at some point, to fit the Insta 360 Pro into my somewhat limited, senior’s budget - solely on the fact I watched your share.
I vote for Dusty, but mainly because he used one of my all-time favorite songs. Dangit, all that neon, I love the neon shots with the puddles. This is so tough. Something about the grit and moisture on the roads below the blue car was bothering my eyes. Maybe my inter-webs weren't good enough. I can't hold that against the filmmaker though. Those transitions were amazing. HOLY OPRAH Batman!
Really Enjoyed Taylor’s video. The low light was absolutely incredible and that would have been my first choice. If the stability would be as good as GP’s HyperSmooth, I would go for the Insta in a NY minute.
I love how you took them and challenged the normal content made with it. outstanding videos from all of them. The pictures from Taylor is absolutely insane! and that editing from Kaden? INSANE. I love watching your videos and helping challenge myself and learning new things without being stagnant in my style. Much love from Florida Mate.
That was a great demo of the new insta 360 ace-pro. The first edit was typical action cam, the second photo/blog and third simple filming but a sick edit. All use case scenarios in one video.
I use my DJI Osmo Action 4 as my primary vlog camera. The wide view sure won't make cine looking footage - but it does a great job capturing what the eye is seeing. Great for showing the actual viewing perspective without making it feel and look like a movie. Sometimes being relatable is about showing the view as it is... not as you manipulate the scene. 👀
This is amazing from you Pete! You just changed their lives to the moon! :D Awesome footage from all three participants, you deserve this price so much!
Make sure to check out everyone's channel! Linked them all in the description!
Ok Man keep doing like this kinda incredible videos
Hey Pete! Honestly, for many videos I'm curious to know where did you get your desk mat with the cool native tribal pattern. let me know :)
Those photos were incredible, never would have considered an action cam for photography.
Graincheck was awsm 😮
This is exactly how Glasgow is all year round I hate Glasgow for photography opportunities
Yo! Stoked to have been apart of this video! Taylor and Kaden killed it!
Crushed it
Awesome footage
You were not apart from it man! You were totally included!
Get well soon Dusty!
Loved your look! What song was that?
Stoked to have been a part of this! Very surprised and grateful Pete haha!
Buddy you are CRACKED. Insane work as always!
Let's go Idaho
sick edit that Kaden...sick
Bro sick vid NGL that was some of the most beautiful shots on a action cam
How do you find Insta for car shots - how is battery life - would it survive a 20min track session without freezing up (gopro does almost always).
peeeeeeete thank you 😭this was a blast! everyone smashed it, ofc.
Your photos were gorgeous and great video too!! So well done
The vibe in your video and your photos was amazing
Loved your photos.
Easily the best of the three. Well done!
You rock!!!!
Holy crap, that last edit was insane.
Average tiktok stuff you see nowadays tho
@@DBLD_Right? It’s crazy how much amazing talent is out there! While this editing style is common in the car community, it’s still so cool!
Old effects now!! Used to be nice when it came out, now it’s overrated
yeah I want to know how to do that ☠️
Dingey winter Ontario is a vibe
Literally watching Peter McKinnon after more than a year and the video starts with coffee. Not disappointed at all
This is my first video i've watched in over a couple of years. I'm glad the 'bwhat's up' is still around too. I think the 'bwhat's up' is from at least when he became a big time UA-camr, if not earlier.
@@Shocker99 yeah mate. Nostalgia. The two minute Tuesday's
Never seen anything like Taylor's video and pics on an action cam before. all of them were great
love how you're sharing the sponsorship money with more creators and giving them exposure, so cool for the community!
The Ontario reference... that hit hard haha 🤣
Dude that car sequence was trippy! All three were great and rightfully earned the 5k
It's called capcut😂
I like the fact that the videos look so clean. No noise, crispy, and great colors. That would be a huge upgrade from my GoPro hero 7 black.
Yes, but it didn't lol. .i have a 7black and an 8 and didn't want to buy more of it.
good tips
I think the number 2 was the most original, creative. In any case, all are very good!
Three winners for sure. Each was completely unique, professional, entertaining, awesome. Great stuff! Cool cam!
Such a cool concept, really loved seeing how each creative filmed differently
I love seeing this: 3 creatives displaying 3 distinctly different approaches to their craft--how it's shot, edited, music choice. 👏
These are legit. Taylors video was awesome given it’s out of the box that we out action cameras in. The ramps on the car video were sick. But I truly think Taylors was the best use because of the photo and video use.
Kaden's edit killed it!
I thought it was going to be another generic car video but i was wrong - wow!
Ok, it worked. Just ordered my first action cam. What really sold me to try this is Taylor's video. That's real world what I can see me doing only at a 10% level of her. But that will be happy times. And if it's a bust I have grandkids I can pass it on too. Thanks - Tim
Nah, Kaden is a beast on his own. Huge inspiration. And his video has that chippy chippy chappa chappa vibe.
You have been a great presence and influence on the photography, videography and UA-cam scene and it is amazing that you are using your platform to help highlight and gain support towards other growing influencers as well. Not only do you pave the way, but you help lay the ground work, that is inspiring.
All 3 of them was different and unique in its own way and showed the power of the new product well. But artistic wise the last one was insane.

I'm so glad all of them won! Every single one of those videos was awesome in their own way!
Those images at 1:15 - 1:20. Nailed my sentiments exactly. 😅😅😅
Shoutout Myrtle and mini golf 😂🤘🏼
SO IMPRESSIVE…. Dang all of these were incredible. also GO TAYLOR!! 🔥
@graincheck's video FTW!! Taylor as always does a Masterpiece!!
Having been born and raised in northern Minnesota I found your middle of February in Ontario montage spot-on and hilarious.
that segment alone along with music theme deserves an award!
What an awesome human being! Much love Peter!
Jody
Yay @Graincheck letsgoooooo!
Basically, growing up with Myrtle Beach being my only idea of vacation I feel so validated seeing I'm not the only one with fond memories of it.
Insane edits
Three fantastic videos. My favorite was Kaden's car video. WOW! Such a sick edit! Great job sir.
Didn't really discuss GoPro at all. Just showed travel styled videos that went out of fashion in 2018. Am I wrong? Just an observation as wanted to see GoPro's "RECKONING"

Went and followed each of them, that was Epic, Kaden killed it, insane shots!!!
I remember when PM used to review random peoples photo and video edits☺️...the good ole days
Man each was so different - so props for all 3 - but if u have to choose Taylor’s vid was sick.
I use my action cams more for photos then video. They're small and easy to carry everywhere. And Insta360 is amazing. It's my new fave.
My biggest gripe with insta360 is they never have many floaty options.
I surf every single day and would love a good camera that I can take with me. So far, GoPro is one of the only ones that makes it easy.

The depiction of Ontario in February is perfection
Taylor absolutely killed it. PHOTOS?! Okay Taylor, go'head.
Dude just gave money to all three - pfff instantly made my day! Absolute legend!
Pete! Here's your excuse to go to NAB 2024! Low-light photography in Vegas 😉
It's not about only the camera it's all about the idea & editing ❤
My favorite thing about action cameras is how easy it is to find used ones on the facebook marketplace on the cheap in my area when I want one for some dumb reason.
Wow those low light photos 🤯 insane quality
It's not about the camera. The creator behind it is the key to these damn cool footage.
You're a real G bro - keep it rolling out there!
Graincheck!!! Water in Vegas is… amazing! And she was true to herself!!!
You're on a roll in 2024, mate, keep it up! Super cool of you to get other creators into the spotlight as well. 🎩
Love to see notifications for your videos 🤩 go on
I've been looking at this and the new X4 from insta to replace my GoPro's. I do like the GoPro and it's suited to my niche (wild camping) but I think it's time to evolve.
25% camera 75% creativity...no compromise, best camera review, cam in action, no blah!
Love the night photography and reflections in Grain's photos. Also love the transitions in the car video
Kaden absolutely nailed it with those transitions!
Yes more other creator's content on your videos Pete! that was incredible

I just for my GoPro hero 12 used it on Porto for the first video and I’m loving the 12
There is no difference in the end results between gopro & insta

On that last video all I gotta say is DUUDE!!! And street photography with a action cam? And look crazy good? Just awesome!
Taylor always makes killer videos, all we're good but I'll take Graincheck 👍🏼👌🏼
Idaho represent - Kaden killed it
Great edits and super cool of you to award all 3!!

The three individuals who played a part in this are dangerous in this style of work my god hats off 🤯

Haven’t watched a video in a long time, this was awesome!
“It better be 11k!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laughed hard at that bit 😅
As someone that uses an action camera for racing (actual action) forget the flip screen that’s for vlogging only
Taylor's stuff was definitely my favorite, I didnt even know those things took photos like that

Car edit was legit! All of them were good though, well deserved 🙌🏽
@kadencreative killing it with the effects 👌🏼

Great video, Peter. I've been looking for an action cam since I'm going to Bonaire to scuba dive this year. You made it pretty easy to choose lmao.
What an incredible way to use your platform Peter!
Serious talent. The last edit was incredible. Loved all 3 videos!
Man Pete... amazing... you never cease to amaze me brother...
