A very underrated feature he didnt mention is being able to save in the middle of a session. As someone who doesnt have all the time in the world, its nice to not have to sit through an up to 40 minute race in one sitting.
The reviewer leaves out a very key feature when referring to swapping drivers in the middle of the race. All you have to do is select “don’t fight teammate” to the driver in front that you want to swap around. It was in the first game, and it’s in this one.
@@RobRoeder53 Wut? Have you ever even played the prior game? There’s literally only one order. If you don’t want the back car pushing then you give them the order. If you want the front car swapped then you give them the order. You probably shouldn’t swap in the middle of the Monaco hairpin, common sense lmao
You CAN totally control the order of your team drivers by telling them NOT to FIGHT each other. In the Tactics screen for each driver. The slower car will move over and allow their faster teammate to pass them.
If you complete that, you move on to the Binnotto scenario. An extra feature where your team, driver and everyone wearing a Ferrari badge actively try and ruin your race. This feature is only reccommended for extremely experienced players and people used to pain and actively enjoy it.
7:57 F1 Manager 2023 is NOT a deep sports management experience. What is wrong with developers, reviewers and (some) gamers these days... this is anything but deep.
@@thejadedbeardSomething as gamebreaking as the safety car issue wouldn't go unnoticed regardless. It's not really about money either. Deadlines exist.
Guessing this was that gimmick where identical twins swap spots, and hilarity ensues because one swapped in is not adept at task. Cause this review confirms not F1 fan, and makes compelling case never reviewed any game before.
Worse than 22 on ps4 as there's some weird blurriness with the cars New driver training is worse than 22 round 10 and still 79 braking, goes up to slow Is a lot more challenging but the blurry graphics need fixing.
Because they're not the point. They're merely window-dressing. They are a luxury that those of us that remember the F1 Manager from 20 years ago marvel at. And honestly they seem improved from last year.

Seems like they capture from the console version. FM2022 has much better graphics in PC and I'd expect the same for FM2023. At least on PC, while the driver faces still a bit stiff/weird, the cars are absolutely gorgeous.

Don’t fight teammate and let your teammate by aren’t really the same thing though, and it often takes a bit for your drivers to swap spots

3:43 is that a tall Yuki, or very small Alfa Tauri team?
6:35 there is an option to swap driver positions, you press the driver photo and there you will see the menu pop up
Now available on Xbox Game Pass 👍
The software will automatically uninstall itself when you are managing the Alpine team in mid season.
😂 nice one, you made laugh so hard
You can tell ur drivers to swap positions, as u could in f1m 22
2:51 best part of the review!
Doesn't seem like enough is different. I'll be buying when the first major price drop comes in.
I'll buy it when f1 manager 24 comes out
3:43 Yuki would not even fit in the frame IRL hahaha
I've been undecided whether or not to get this but sweary yuki might have just swung it for me😂
3:12 - That kubrick stare
My biggest question is does any of the data (strategy, tyre deg etc.) translate to F123? Because that would be awesome
No way the community fell for this again
Sorry to the reviewer but you are wrong about not being able to swap your drivers around in the race because you absolutely can
how does this have significantly better character animation than the regular F1 game?
but the models are wayyy worse
Fred vasseur is the ultimate difficulty

Can you change teams at the end of/in the middle of a season?
Not as of now no, Frontier said it will be coming September/October after launch , the option to change tea,s will be then
September.
I'm wondering why my graphics on the ps4 version are so bad compared to last year
Have Ferrari got early access to this tutorial?
Ouch, burn
Very marginal differents to the game in 2022. It's more like a patch!
Yh I'm not buying this years edition
Do drivers still crash way to often

It’s probably deeper than what most casuals will ever play
Is deep like he's review.
Only kids can buy these empties bla-blas.
Shame IGN, as usual.
Its fun. My first one playing. Had its bugs but overall still fun.😊
Just another yearly refresh. Why don't they make proper game with all the features worthy of the price tag.
Doesn't look that different from F1 Manager 2022 except for updated drivers and tracks?
Thats cos it aint but the whales will still buy this garbage that aint changed from last year and will be abandoned after 2 months to work on 24 lolz
3:45 yuki isn't that tall
Can you have mulitple careers at the same time unlike the previous game?
Unfortunately not
You could always do this? You are still only allowed one autosave slot but you can manually save to keep multiple careers going.
Can you move teams yet or are you still shackled to the same team forever?
An update at the start of September brings in team swapping
Why is the game released now then?

Great game - far too expensive.
It’s free 99 on game pass 😏

Yes ,according to steam site.

A manager game without a comprehensive season/team/driver editor feels bland.
They gave it an 8.
The faces are definitely within the uncanny valley, though. :/
Time to change F1 in my own
No way this is just a board game of racing shoved into a console…I’m so confused
Yuki is not that tall lol
