Looks like a big W in comparison to last year.
both versions to date been horible. i was very disapointed n 1 youtuber. he plays f1 22+ games really good sim driver. and he raced via sim vs real f1 driver even.
he knows his shit. yet for some reason, somwhow. he played f1 22 manager. didnt notice very huge, glaring issues with the game. i bought it and quickly was like wtf? tires have no value. run wets, or slicks all same. weather didnt matter etc. game was huge joke.
the only things it had going for it, was the graphics and the sound bits the racing f1 nerds liked. beyond that. Ai was shit especially in blue flag conditions, again tires never mattered. forget the other issues. but yea. so horribly done. both games.
@@user-xf1ur3hu4zwait so you’re calling the game shit because you don’t know how to play it???
@@user-xf1ur3hu4z I played Manager 23 and I loved it, it has some problems but the game in general has been great
@@user-xf1ur3hu4zdude, don't say both games were horrible when clearly you only played the launch version of the first game
@@ultra4265no especially in 22 game, higher rated driver would always be faster than lower rated driver which is a lazy coding. Like charles would beat carlos sainz in qualifyings 22-0
As an update, we can use our reserve drivers in race weekend when we want (full weekend)
@@bekircetinkaya ok thanks. I wish they would add in driver injuries and then you can replace an injured driver with your reserve driver on the race weekend
@@xundinethey actually have a "health centre" in the save file for 23. It's just set to 0 for all teams.
I hope they don't over do it with the mechanical failures
It will probably be a low chance when your ice and other parts are new, the chance of a mechanical breakdown will likely increase as your parts get worn towards the end of the season
Frontier are actually really good at listening to fan requests (unlike most game companies), so they’ll probably patch it quickly if that’s the case
There's only one thing that's annoying about creating your own team: you stick sponsors on your car that you don't even have.
Already pre ordered. I cant wait for this game. I recently had to stop plaging f1 23 because of no space and ive been playing tje shit out of f1M 23. I got to 2033 and will try to get to 2040 before the new game releases.
you like this series?> how? honestly im asking? are you like 10 years old?
there is no strategy. there is nothing challenging. tires done matter, ai is horrible. they dont update or fix anything. frontier has gone off the deep end.
@@user-xf1ur3hu4z because I like the storylines that develop as I play through the game. I like seeing how my drivers develop through the years. I like developing my car while avoiding the cost cap and moving to struggling teams to help them challenge the dominant team I created. I like when my strategy gets fucked and I have to think on the go what to do.
I rarely ever pause the game, because i think it's better not to and it makes your choices more impactful because you can't just sit there for half an hour choosing what tyres, seeing how far they will go and if you can make it to the end and whatever.
Also, I love watching teams and drivers who start at the back, end up front runners. I never managed Williams in my current save, yet they came 3rd last season beating redbull with Zhou and Schumacher while redbull had Russell and piastri.
And Ferrari, they started by winning the title in season 1 and got verstappen his 7 world title before falling to 5th in the season after that where McLaren dominated and max got his 8th, and then the season after that Ferrari fell to 9th and now 10 races into 2033 they are 10th.
My field spread is so small, one major upgrade shot Haas from struggling at the back to scoring a point with drugovich, to then when my new underfloor came, I dominated Baku and got a 1-2, and then a 12-16 at the next race because other cars brought upgrades. It's so fun.
I've had 5 really close title battles. 2025, 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2032.
2028 had 4 cars in contention for the title and leclerc won because Norris overtook verstappen on the last lap. All 3 of them were in the fight as well as Alonso in the other McLaren.
The f2 drivers like porchaire and bearman are doing great, in 2032 bearman took it down to Abu Dhabi and only lost because I fucked up and he ran out of fuel.
I wish I had a pc, I would mod the shit out of this game to add new teams and custom drivers and give them proper helmets.
I can't wait till f1M24 because it expands on everything I enjoy and adds new systems toake the longevity of the game far exceed what it is now.
Driver poaching and the mentality system are the key features I'm talking about. My team is great but without that you can play forever and it's fine.
Idk why I love all of these things but I do, I'm sorry for the rant, maybe I should just make a UA-cam video explaining what I love about the game, I could probably stretch it to half an hour to give examples and explanations lol
@@user-xf1ur3hu4z also I'm 17 years old and an engineering student. Well, I barely passed but it counts. If you play the game right then it's so fun. And I'm not saying you played it wrong, everyone plays things differently and this isy "right" way to play it
@@user-xf1ur3hu4zImagine assuming someone's age based on the game they play... a management game no less. Do better.
Releasing an identical version on the Nintendo Switch is a DEAL for me! I bought 22 and 23 on the Xbox, but barely played them as I just didn't find the time to be sat in front of a TV screen, and I own a mac rather than PC. Being able to play handheld on the go is much more convenient for investing time into this game. I can't wait!!
Thanks for this! Much appreciated!
Very good summary of the new and refited realstic old Contents / Features and new realistic Contents / Features in the F1 Manager 2024.
I played the most old official Managers in the 1990s and beginning 2000s (Microprose) for the PC. As well as all the unofficial Managers beginning in the 2007s to the End in 2016 for PC.
The integrated new Contents / Features in F1 Manager 2024 with the mechanical Damages during Races you had already in the last official Manager from Microprose (forgot the Name) and most unofficial Managers from 2007 until the last unoffical Manager 2016.
That this best new official Manager (F1 Manager 2022 to 202x and eventuelly following 203x+) get such cool working new Contents / Features which make that Managers best realistic is great. The first 2 Base-Game-Managers from the latest offical Manager (F1 Manager 2022 and 2023) are good, but only the first Steps after more then 20 Years of waiting. That this official Managers need some Years to get all realistic Content / Features as well as maximum modern Grafics etc. integrated is to 1+ Billion % clear.
The same get needed for the Race-Licence F1 200x to 2024+ Game-Contents / Features. After 7 or 8 Years it was on the Standard like the Race-Games from Microprose in the 1990s and beginning 2000s.
i honestly dont know why this game gets so much hate but i suspect its because the average f1 fan is an angry 12 year old boy. for me f1m23 is one of the best games ive ever played, the only complaint is that it was slighly shallow and repetitive after awhile. if they can increase replayability the game could be perfect
I would love to see AI improvement during the race. F1 manager 23 AI strategy was really silly at all.
Sim a race is very usefull when you have a s*t box and needs to wait development or when you have a rocket ship and already won the championship, so it is just a matter of speeding through to get to season end or getting an achievement that takes a few seasons to get
I bought it the day you could pre order😂. Still good Video
One thing I'd like too see is them introducing an injury/fatality mechanic where there's a chance of drivers being injured in really bad crashes and a very small chance of those injuries potentially being fatal if they're severe enough.
It would definitely add an element of danger and drama if you're daring/dumb enough to try and run a car in a poor state of repair with bad parts.
Sure you could win the race, but your negligence could potentially cause great harm to someone.
Go and look at the PEGI rating for the game, then think about what you're asking for.
@Sighman
They could easily handle it via text through news reports without showing anything.
That’d be pretty cool could get your reserve driver in which would be pretty cool
Why is this game half the price of the previous version?
Jokes on you...I preordered it the day it became available
Me watching this after I already bought it
Please no press conferences one of the most pointless parts of Football Manager
There hasn't been any in F1 Manager 2022 or 2023, so that should still be the case this year
The one feature I want to see them either gets rid of it make it optional is the setup management.
The team manager is not the person who adjusts the cars setup. The team mechanics are responsible for this.
Unless they get rid of this aspect of the game I Wong buy another f1 manager game.
You can just sim practice or use a setup calculator for easy mode. Hopefully this setup mini game is changed for the 2025 game (if they make it)
In that case you would just simulate practice sessions, problem solved ;) What else is there a purpose to do practice sessions manually, if you don't wanna setup the car yourself?
Which is fine.
I noticed in F1 Manager 2023 the AI could sometimes setup a 99% car setup, when simming practice sessions. I mostly did them manually though, but i'm sure they can hit 100% if you are lucky
That's my problem with the game. Refuse to play this Motorsport Manager clone, rather play F1 20XX my team
IM HYPE ZOOMZOOM
We need injuries, badges and we're set
I wonder with create a team you still get fired 🤔
6:43 this is not supposed to be a driving game if you come in expecting to drive then you are going to be disappointed. you can find driving games for f1 better than the codemaster games on roblox.
❤
“Before you buy”…. Already bought, mate 😂
The most important thing zu know before you buy F1 manager 2024 is, that F1 Manager 2024 uses Denuvo as copy protection!!! 😪😢😭
Because of Denuvo, i don't preorder F1 Manager 2024 and will not buy the game, even it costs $ 10,- or less... Denuvo -> no money from me!!!
F1 manager 24 will be cheaper than F1 manager 23. Huh?
Not a great need to know video when you haven't even played it yet.
Bonus tip: It has Denuvo. 👎
for the first time ever...... i pre order a game. f1 22 manager. about 10 days into playing it. and 9 days of frustration with how poor the game was. i learned from the devs they were going to just polish up the game a littlemore. then be done with it. (game wasnt out 1 week, full release, they were going to stop updates...on a broken game) while everyone moved on to next years game version. i quickly went to few other pages to verify it all. and then to steam to refund.. 20 something hours played and i got my money back. not looked back since. I lost all faith in a once solid studio...
f123 somehow was worse from what i heard. there is clearly a market for this game. i just wish they fing do it right. if the devs etc would just play motorsport manager for few seasons. or let someone like me actually playtest their game and give honest feedback. someone who has,
A played motorsport mangaer for 300 hours.
B. actually raced on a track for real.
C. done nothing but drive and do all kinds of things behind wheel for over 30 years........on all types of surfaces.
instead they just go for quick solutions and make it look pretty and call it a racing game.
Edit, i never understand why studios pay to get license of f1 or nfl etc. if anything it should be the other way around. these games are advertising ur company.........
honestly i rather studio just drop F1 license and just create their own random drivers etc. i sure they save millions off the bat right there. use that money to make the game worth a shit....
once they finally get a good product if they so choose buy a license... and put it all together
F1M23 is much better than 22, 24 is gonna be better than 23, and so on
was bro expecting a perfect game that would satisfy everyone on their first try the moment it came out 😭
@@PurpleAmica yeah like man, if it’s perfect when it comes out then what hype would there be for next years game?
It could be free, I wouldn't touch it. I have game pass. I love F1, it's a motorsport manager clone, rather play F1 Codemasters my team on F1 2021. F1 2020 don't like the tracks choice, F1 2021 has Portugal, China and Imola.
I’m sorry but football manager is not a good game, it’s overcrowded and over complicated
recycled just like fifa 🥱
Not even close, you don't have to bash it because you can't afford it mate.
Yet we have driver academies, mentality, poaching, my team, a very good livery editor, deep customisation, the option to leave your team and fight against them, AI made drivers, AI made staff, and a few other things that weren't in the previous games.
If there’s one thing about Frontier Development, they NEVER recycle a game. They put in months designing the next game with many new features…
Lowest price is a win here.
and he talks about graphics and compares them to football manager as being worse than football manager but imo it's way better
@@brunogarcia2879 lmao no way, this dude just called football manager "graphically intensive" i think my laptop from 1995 could probably run it
Lower price with increased list of features AND shorter time between releases, makes me skeptic. Last release was augusr or september. Less then a year by several month dev time.
They actually did MORE work, in LESS time and CHEAPER?
@@TheGouliat To sell more copies and make more profit. Remember digital copies do not consume any ressources anymore. And the core gameplay is still the same, follow up versions of the game only use a slit part of the initial effort.
@@touchdown081 the games never had physical distribution, i never mentioned that. Thats completely besides my point.
the 2nd game had a longer dev time, higher price and fewer new features. The 2nd tiltle should have "only use a slit part of the initial effort" too, so why is it that the 3rd title has lower price, more features and lower dev time? that should be the same for the 2nd.
That is only development im speaking of.
That makes me skeptic that the new features COULD be half assed and buggy.
They loewered the Price roughly 10 bucks here. thats roughly 15%-20% lower price. that means they have to at least sell that much more copys while manager titles are niche games.
Just be skeptic, ill be happy if im wrong.
