Today we are covering more of the OnePlus Open by covering a hinge case and testing it for fit in the RIG Nacon MG-X Pro & Aproca Case!
The hinge case is one of the best cases I could find that provides solid overall protection while maintaining a slim profile.
It’s also compatible with several controllers, one of my favorites being the RIG Nacon MG-X Pro you’ll see here.
And also a bonus… We’ll be showing the Aproca case which holds both the OnePlus Open and the RIG Nacon MG-X Pro for a truly mobile gaming kit!

My PS5 and Xbox One controller doesn't work on OnePlus open. I'm hoping this works though.
Shit doesn't work once the game launches dude.
If anyone is having problems with touch, just remove the plastic protector from the frame of the case. I installed a tempered glass protector and removed this plastic protector. Works perfectly
whats the name of the hinge case
The link provided showed the back of the case as a leather material. In the video, the leather material "look" is not shown. Is the case on video different from the case shown on the link provided by company name LVTFCO? I would appreciate it if i you could clarify this information for me. Great video!

It does have a leather-like appearance and texture. I actually like it, and I usually don't like these leather-like things. 🙂

Bro this is like the 10th video I've seen of random mfs promoting this basic $20 Amazon case who never mention that the touch sensitivity for the front display becomes awful with that slab of plastic in front of it. Warning potential buyers now, if you like how fast and responsive your Open is, don't bother with this unless you wanna break the screen protector off.

I appreciate your point because it is valid.
There is certainly screen sensitivity sacrificed.
Sometimes we can adjust the sensitivity in settings to compensate for this.
But it is a very valid point you have and I thank you for bringing it up. 🫡

Will the controller work with a Poetic Spartan Case?

While I don't have the case, I believe the answer is kind of.
The rear camera side does stick out too far on the One Plus Open to be inserted into the joystick.
However, you should be able to install the cover display side into the joystick (camera side sticks out top of controller).
I'm not sure how the hinge will affect how far the phone will go into the joystick though.
But wow! That case looks amazing!
Wheres the link for the case without the screen protector? Or did you personally remove the screen protector? If so what process did you do to remove it🙏
You can just remove the plastic protector by itself, very easy
