Hi sis, the second area is not a pantry. It is a closet for towels, bed sheets and comforters. That is why it away from the kitchen and close to the bathroom.
I will advise you to tell her to check olu of Canada on IG. Her a groups (not sure it's WhatsApp, I think telegram) for different pathways of relocation. Just check is IG page for more.

I lived in that company's apartment, it was great until some people moved in upstairs and drove me out with their constant pounding. Management is worthless for dealing with noise, sorry. I did love the apartment, my location was great too. If you are on the top floor you are golden!
