Tigranosaurus !!!
Armenians As Leaders
I'm getting super strong passive-aggressive vibes from the remarks on Tigran's editing of the drums haha
What do you mean? 😄
@@kristijanfistrek9055 Starting at 2:30 "Mute drums: brought to you by Hamasyan Editing Inc.", "Mute again", "Mute again???", "cool high pass filter bro"
@@alon_2303 ohh...
I mean, it's his record in the end... And I believe the edits were for the better, seems like the mutes and all that fit the song and creates buildups and stuff
@@angelrgdrums oh I'm not criticizing anything, only getting amused from the video
Those time signatures
Are out of another universe

Matt Garstka was in a deep depression over you being the one to do this haha Kidding. He probably loved it. Great work
This is what we are waiting for. 2 x Progressive artists collab. Hell yeah!!!!!
The cymbals and hi-hats enhance the complexity, musicality, and enjoyability of your drumming. Great track!

Not BORED
I know he just played it on the video, but it still looks unplayable
It is not one take you can notice video cuts
@@daysofmayhem but you still have to play it live
Holy fuck. That's the combo I dreamed would happen
thx
How on earth do you play this stuff (by heart)?
Love the commentary :D
This is what it sounds like...when demigods have jam sessions.
could you do a breakdown of some of this songs?? plis
I feel like you enjoy playing along to Car Bomb
he's one of those... what are they called ? I think the technical term is Wizard ?
Really like Arthur. Shocked about matched grip, did not see it coming.
Excellent !!Tight!!Sub ,,Cheers!!;-)!
Mono overhead? Great drumsound!
Looks like there’s a mic (Beyer M130?) in front of the kit on the left that might be giving some stereo imaging with the overhead. Tough to be sure though. Regardless, it does sound great!
This song does not aid in digestion. I'd give it two thumbs up if yt would let me...
why do you personally use matched sometimes and traditional others? i do the same so i'm curious on your perspective
I suppose it just depends on how the piece of music he plays flows
@@danielhorn2322 eh that's a pretty vague answer, my guess is that it has more to do with the mechanics needed for the piece. for example, if he needs to hit the hi-hat with his left hand at certain angles then traditional is easier. but if he needs to use his side snare a lot then matched is easier because it's difficult to reach that far with traditional. but i wanted to hear know his personal answer
in my experience, if i wanted to have a little bit more control over dynamics and some finesse, i would do traditional. if i just wanted raw power and consistency, i would do matched.
@@divide8608 Same for me
Siuuk
does anyone know what kind of hi-hats does he use her?
And snare too ?😅
What BPM is this? All the sites have it completely wrong, and when I wrote this into MIDI I found it to be somewhere inbetween 132 and 131 BPM.
hey man whats your approach to learning a song like this? I find it hard to memorize such long and complex parts, particularly when I cannot find the repetitions in the songs. Any chance you can give me some advice? Nice drumming btw, solid and easy to listen to.
I remember when I tried to learn Hiromi’s Sonicbloom “Time Out”, I learn part by part, the intro first and then the rest one by one, took quite some time, but it’s the best I can do
Hi my dude, hope I’m not to late. Always start figuring out where the skeleton of the beat is, that can only happen after a couple of repetitions and very careful listening. The other VERY important factor is to write out if you can the parts only to the point that they are useful to you(you want to PLAY the song, the less you have to read, the better). I always start out by figuring the hihat and the bass drum and main snare hits, a good rule of thumb is that the rest of the notes you hear are just filler, a continuous
stream of filler notes. So yeah, it’ll take time but with consistent work anyone should be able to play these tunes.
1:51 the dutch slam
I'm late to this but anybody know the time signatures on this song?
It would be one thing if he'd cut or drastically altered like 60% of your takes, but dude, it's his music. He can edit it the way he wants.
Return to Forever vibes
Chuck Norris on drums??
Is that DeSinc?
Instant click
anyone else watched the cut on 1:07? xd
2:30-3:21 Kind of a dick move on Tigran's part honestly, could have just asked him to play what he edited.
kinda boring
