Hey guys! Today we have a home decor mystery box! I was so excited about this box but im not sure how I feel about it in the end?? Let me know what you guy think! Love ya💖
You need a #BigBlanket! 10ft by 10ft! Even the furballs can cuddle! Everyone on the couch to watch a movie…etc. 😹 not me being a blanket hoarding enabler being one myself….. 😹
I 100% love all your videos but I feel like you could have gotten so much more with that $150 at Home Goods. Everything you bought at Home Goods would also be your style so worth the value.
I was curious and found them on the site: "Spread some love this holiday season with our Spread Some Love Clay Heart Box, which comes filled with 12 individual mini hearts! Spread the hearts like confetti throughout greenery and candlesticks on your holiday tablescape or place an individual heart on top of each tablesetting to bring smiles to those seated at your table! Once emptied, re-use this clay box to store your keys, spare change, paperclips, earrings, or other small necessities looking for a home!"
I thought I had figured it out and that they were pie weights! XD They would actually probably work as pie weights, but now that I know that wasn't the intention, they might not be food safe. Dang.
That cross garland looks like something you'd put up on a rickety wooden farmhouse to keep demons sealed inside. Once you break/damage the garland seal, all hell is unleashed. Plague and evil spirits attacking the townsfolk. Fire torches and witch hunts.
I was not feeling those crosses! What a weird item to put in a mystery box, especially when it can be received by anyone of any religion. The other products, aside from the woven basket, everything seemed so cheaply made!! No sense paying $150 for things you can find at the dollar store
Yeah, bad choice. I think they could look really nice as porch décor for a rustic or farm house aesthetic, but only for a churchy person. They'd also be good with Christmas Garland for Christians. Not a bad item IMO, but too narrow a target audience these days. lol Even many Christians these days find it a bit much to have crosses hanging all over the place. Some would totally be into it, though!
For those plant pots, you can set live plants in their nursery pots in them. It's a way to "pretty up" those ugly plastic pots while letting you take them out to deep water or fertilize.
What a baffling box! I'm glad you were able to make light of things and see the use in them. The crosses feel a little blair witch to me and the clay hearts are so confusing!
I am from honduras and didn't expect at all to see something in that box from there! Honduras is beautiful and clay is one of the most prominent crafts of the country! they clay pieces can be used for decorations, gifts, but you could use them for baking as well!!
I thought of the same thing! It would be super cute and smell fantastic with some diffuser oil poured onto the clay (less than a 1/4 cup pls, otherwise it might bleed through the clay box too!)
Separate pricing from Decor Steals: 82" Cross Wood Bead Garland: $16.99 Spread Some Love Clay Box: $19.99 Neutral Striped Cotton Basket: $26.99 Metal Planters: Embossed Set of 2 with Stands: $64.99 Rustic Galvanized Metal and Wood Lantern: $32.99 Total = $161.95
Wow, the metal planters & lantern are especially overpriced, especially for the quality of the items. All of it is really, except maybe the cotton striped basket.
So really not a steal, just retail value with a $10 off coupon. Also, I only like planters and lantern, but wouldn't pay that much for those because the quality is pretty rough. Granted, this is my pre-pandemic brain applying pre pandemic pricing expectations.
I would feel ripped off. I don't want religious items and that clay pot of hearts? What would I do with that? The planters and lantern are okay but for $150. That's a big nope.
I got one of these surprise boxes a while back and that cross garland was in it. I donated that immediately. I do like those planters. I’d put rocks in the bottom and then put a plant in a plastic pot with drainage holes inside. That way the plant can drain into the rocks.
There's these really cheap clear plastic catch trays most garden centers have... def best to put one of those at the bottom first because the water will rust out the metal. Also a good way to dress up pre-made flower planters that have plastic pots. Tp hide the lip of any ugly pot, just get coconut fiber to place around it. Helps keep the soil moist anyhow. I also think the lantern wound be a great way to hang a potted plant, btw. Petunias or something would look great cascading out of that.
I really love how honest you are in your unboxing. I get annoyed watching some unboxers where everything is wonderful and gorgeous. I love that you keep it real!
So i have really really shitty internet. When you unboxed the beaded crosses 3:36 you suddenly slowed down and jeeeebus I never wanted to pray more than I did in that moment
I liked the style of all the items and they seemed to me like they would be reasonably universally appealing. The poorer quality, however, doesn't appear to justify the price. It was still fun to watch you unbox it!
I think with the planters, maybe painting them with some dark grey/black outdoor paint and sealer would work. The top of the lantern feels bird poopish lol The crosses were kind of creepy.

Cut the strings on the crosses, and use them for trivets. Use the barrels for ice chests, when you are outside at the fire pit, or inside, to hold water bottles or other beverages
When you have a get together, For the barrels, instead of plants, you could use the larger one for drinks, if you fill them with ice and put your bottles or cans in there. The smaller one could hold bags of chips or anything smaller and individually packaged. Just a suggestion! ☺️👍
That is definitely a different box. I do get more of the boho style from this box. I am worried about the cross garland. As soon as I seen them I got bad feelings in my stomach. It reminds me something from a scary movie like the Blair witch project 😱. I don’t think you got your $150 value at all. And your right with it being a mystery box it should be valued about $250. Thanks for sharing this with us Alexandria ♥️
You can get that Exact hamper at target. Honestly, that paper looks like something they have put three large printing press and they’re like tester sheets where they have you know the tester pieces and see how much ink is coming out but honestly so far everything I’ve seen come out of that box is for $50 it less all over to target except the crosses on a string that’s just flat out odd
If you lightly sand the wooden legs on the "plant stands", collect the sawdust, then mix it with some wood glue to repair the split leg. The sawdust conceals the glue. Once dry, sand lightly. The clay hearts would be decent to keep outside with some citronella essential oil dripped on them.
Another viewer said that the small hearts are just supposed to be put around on other things like table top, plants, and other decor items, but I love the diffuser idea!
You could apply some scented oils to the little hearts and place them around the home. (that's what I did when I received a similar looking gift for my birthday)
Honestly, I like this one! Fits a lot of aesthetics, including cottagecore... Or, in true Aurelio Voltaire nature, paint it all black! (Maybe not the nice basket... Unless you dye it🦇). The crosses look neat. I'm also glad to see many big items. Sturdy, too, instead of just plastic from the dollar store.
This was kind of a weird one. The creepy cross garland and inexplicable clay pot full of clay hearts really threw me off, and the $150 price tag is definitely excessive. Which all seems extra strange considering their regular box is usually pretty good!🤷♀️
You know, the more I think about it the more I realize I absolutely would use the basket as a jumbo beach bag. That would actually be so useful. Alternatively I'd use it to carry clean laundry to put away.
The clay heart box. Clay is porous and perfect for adding essential oils to scent a room. Just sprinkle on seversl drops of essential oil, leave the lid off, and let it scent a small space. ❤
I was so let down. Definitely not as good as their other boxes. And you just KNOW those planters are gonna rust. Bummer. I just want to tell you, your hair looks beautiful today!
Hi Alexandra 💜🤗, I have one of those big woven baskets and I use it as a toy basket for my Dog and he can get his toys out for himself and if I need to move it I just pick it up by the handles and move it easily. Also you can wash it on gentle if it gets dirty. The heart box is so cute, and I think those clay hearts go in your brown and white sugar bins and other food you don't want to dry out and get hard. I have some that are ginger bread men and I love them. The flower bins are cute but I don't know if I like the stands for them. And those day of the dead looking crosses creep me the heck out, maybe those crosses are meant to hang over your bed to keep evil spirits away while you sleep 🤣🤣🤣. Anyway fun video. Love you 💕😊
I've seen a lot of new items for room scents that actually are clay items you put essential oils on & use as room scents so even if that's what the hearts aren't advertised as, it's a great idea!
Could the hearts be used as trivets? Put out four or more of them to go under a serving dish kind of thing?! Only useful function I can think of, apart from just arranging them on a table or mantelpiece? ❤
The woven basket can also be used for your dirty clothes because my sisters have a woven basket they paid for st target that they use as their laundry basket
Hi Alex, I thought a lot of things were cute and I liked those plant stands. I like the bucket to put your blankets in. That’s what I would do. And I also like the candle holder.
Omg the crosses are very voodoo ish!!!! They’re just creepy to me. The little tin things have potential (I’d probably paint them) but I have a feeling at the first strong wind they will go flying across the yard lol. This whole box to me was just 😒😒😒 especially for the price.
Hi Miss Ally. You are burning me up dear. Those long sleeve sweatshirts are killing me. It's t-shirt weather. Sleeveless shirts & an old-man's cardigan, if you will. Interesting items, thank you. Have a great Friday. ❤
i love the clay heart but i collect heart things so you know ha ha the lantern is awesome to-watching you open stuff like this is so awesome trying to make things seem better ha ha
Ok there's just something extra awesome about someone who will literally pause a video to point out an unintended pun! These are the reasons I love you! As an atheist I would be very upset with a cross-garland. What would I do with that? Other than throw it the hell away? I feel like the clay heart box needs an explanation. I'm very confused by it. Although it is lovely.
What an eclectic box… I love the idea of the clay heart and maybe passing them out too friends or family then reusing the box. The planters are cute but seem a bit cheap, especially the stands. The crosses…Ermmm…Great Halloween decor maybe? lol
Maybe you should use a permanent marker and put small kind words on the hearts ❤️ and hand them to your friends. Since it says spread love. Simple uplifting words written on the hearts is what I believe it’s for. As I’ve seen similar but they already had words on them. This way you can make them your own to a loved one. Like “stay strong, you got this etc encouragement words. Would mean a lot to those close to you. Especially during difficult times. Not my favorite box either. Maybe don’t do the mystery boxes. Much love as always. I adore you and you bring light and laughter and love into my heart and life. 💜
In Australia we definitely have a large Christian community and there are local churches and everything but it's no where near to the level of America so when you pulled out the cross garland it was super disturbing to me... like when you are climbing up the stairs at night and your muscle memory miscounted so when you go to step to reach the last one and miss, you're just falling through the air until you crumple on the ground of the landing and you're like "what was that about...?" Like nothing weird or unusual but also, yes.... yes it is highly weird AND unusual.
I think they're indoor jardinieres that you stand plants in so that the water doesn't drip out the bottom when you water them. Design wise they're... a choice. 😂
Also, I really liked the stuff in this box. Though, I like farmhouse decor and I do think if the products arent made well it really devalues them. Thats sad. 😢❤
Clay hearts description from their website “Spread the hearts like confetti throughout greenery and candlesticks on your holiday tablescape or place an individual heart on top of each tablesetting to bring smiles to those seated at your table!”
Hi, sweet girl, well, that was certainly a strange box of products, I can understand your disappointment! Always love to watch your videos! Sending prayers, love, & hugs! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🐾🐾
So I don't know if that's what it's for BUT you can put essential oils on clay and use them as an air freshener so you definitely could add a few drops and then set them up on a shelf or something.
Almost seems like want the customers to be cursed or break some cruses lol, with those crosses and the little clay heart box. But I agree those crosses are definitely giving off back demon back vibes lol
I believe that the clay heart box and the clay pieces that are inside are meant to be a defuser of some sort. You pour essential oils onto the little hearts inside. I like it! However, As for the creepy wooden cross garland, it gives me fall Halloween haunted house vibes. It would go nicely with my other creepy decor! It's very hills have eyes meets the children of the corn.
I have a very similar basket like your first item and i use it as my laundry basket 😂 i only put wites/light colours there. Its in my bedroom so it looks okay 😁 Will you be getting the Paris Hiton edition of FatFitFun??!!
I love the heart box with clay hearts and the woven bin and the planters and the lantern but the heart is my favorite❤❤❤❤
Ehhhhh. I enjoyed watching as ALWAYS …but… that box did seem pretty light on value.
I 100% love all your videos but I feel like you could have gotten so much more with that $150 at Home Goods. Everything you bought at Home Goods would also be your style so worth the value.
Blare witch crosses 😂
When I saw the crosses I instantly thought “Children of the Corn” 😂
😂😂😂😂
It's super weird!
😂😂😂
😂😂 totally
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was curious and found them on the site: "Spread some love this holiday season with our Spread Some Love Clay Heart Box, which comes filled with 12 individual mini hearts! Thank you. ^^
I thought I had figured it out and that they were pie weights! XD They would actually probably work as pie weights, but now that I know that wasn't the intention, they might not be food safe. Dang.
Literally did the same thing and was coming here to comment!
I LOVE that ❤
That's actually precious. I like the idea a lot
That cross garland looks like something you'd put up on a rickety wooden farmhouse to keep demons sealed inside. Once you break/damage the garland seal, all hell is unleashed. Plague and evil spirits attacking the townsfolk. Fire torches and witch hunts.
Seriously! It’s so creepy. I don’t think even a diy would save them because the memory of the original look would be too haunting 🤣
@@tibbynibby they would be perfect as halloween decoration though
I was not feeling those crosses! What a weird item to put in a mystery box, especially when it can be received by anyone of any religion. The other products, aside from the woven basket, everything seemed so cheaply made!! No sense paying $150 for things you can find at the dollar store
Those crosses would have burst into flames if they'd been opened in my house! 🤣
I got Blair Witch vibes from them lol
The crosses were definitely a choice! LOL I don't haaaate them but my family grew up Buddhist so I'd just be super confused lmao
Its honestly offensive! I would be beyond pissed to get that garbage in something i payed for
For those plant pots, you can set live plants in their nursery pots in them. It's a way to "pretty up" those ugly plastic pots while letting you take them out to deep water or fertilize.
What a baffling box! I'm glad you were able to make light of things and see the use in them. The crosses feel a little blair witch to me and the clay hearts are so confusing!
Yes!! Blair Witch was the first thing I thought of, too.
lol, i thought of Blair Witch when she pulled those things out too!
I was thinking maybe u could use the clay hearts for coasters? If big enough for a glass. Would be cute on a table top laid out. ❤
In case of vampires, tie garlic bulbs on the rope between the crosses and put them around your door...worked in old movies!😂
How to get new neighbors in one step
Omg I thought something similar 😅
@@sleepyghostginger3921🤣
I am from honduras and didn't expect at all to see something in that box from there! Honduras is beautiful and clay is one of the most prominent crafts of the country! they clay pieces can be used for decorations, gifts, but you could use them for baking as well!!
The crosses look straight outta Children of the Corn to me. LOL
There was just something about them that was a little spooky!
I’ve heard of ballot box stuffing but I think someone got confused….
I thought the same thing!!
I was thinking more Blair Witch!
12:48 you could get some scented oils, add a few drops for the clay to absorb and hide the hearts around, just add more drops when the smell fades
I thought of the same thing! It would be super cute and smell fantastic with some diffuser oil poured onto the clay (less than a 1/4 cup pls, otherwise it might bleed through the clay box too!)
There is no disappointment when you upload a new video!
Aww🥰 Thank you so much for watching!

Have you tried putting a scented oil on the clay hearts? I feel like I've seen that before
I would feel ripped off. I don't want religious items and that clay pot of hearts? What would I do with that? The planters and lantern are okay but for $150. That's a big nope.
Might as well just spend 150 bucks picking out stuff you like.
We need the TJ Maxx comparison shopping trip!!!
We neeeeeeeed it.
Those crosses would be a great base for some wicked Halloween decorations!
I just said the same on a different comment and I totally agree!
I love the clay hearts. Would be great as name setting for dinner parties or to personalize with words/quotes.
I’d use the clay hearts to hold down napkins at an outdoor party or picnic 😊
$150 for disappointment and bruised elbows 😂
I got one of these surprise boxes a while back and that cross garland was in it. I donated that immediately. I do like those planters. I’d put rocks in the bottom and then put a plant in a plastic pot with drainage holes inside. That way the plant can drain into the rocks.
Be sure to spray a clear coat to waterproof the inside of the metal piece (even if it feels/looks like aluminum).
There's these really cheap clear plastic catch trays most garden centers have... def best to put one of those at the bottom first because the water will rust out the metal. I also think the lantern wound be a great way to hang a potted plant, btw. Petunias or something would look great cascading out of that.
I love the idea of the plant in the lantern idea!😊
I had the same thought about the wooden beaded crosses. I would write things on the hearts and pull them out when you need a pick me up.
I hope Tater is feeling better 😊
This is worth about $60 in the Marshall's clearance aisle
And just as busted!
That's harsh! lol
It's the random cutting herself off to have fun with the echo in the planters that got me giggling. 🤭
Alexandria-take us on a tour of your box stash please!
I am a bit of a blanket problem as well but it's ok I love a good comfy blanket!!!
The top of the lantern feels bird poopish lol
The crosses were kind of creepy.
You could use the crosses at Halloween - vampire themed party?! 😂😂😂

“I’m from Kentucky, I’m Baptist”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel like you have to be from the Bible Belt to find that funny 🤣
Those crosses are more ominous than the bloodiest of crucifixes.
Vampire huntin' kit 😂 I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣
Cut the strings on the crosses, and use them for trivets. Use the barrels for ice chests, when you are outside at the fire pit, or inside, to hold water bottles or other beverages

If they're porous, you can TOTALLY use them with essential oils! You can put them in your closet, bathroom, dresser drawers, etc!
Dampen the basket with a spay bottle or steamer. Stuff it with towels or blankets. When it dries it should hold the shape.
Would you please do another random roundup soon? Those are so fun!!
My favorite part was "echooo! Brrrrrrrrp" loved the metal barrels and the lantern.
Clay can absorb water and can be placed in plant pots to help slow drying out.
I love the heart thing full of hearts.. no idea what it is, but I would put essential oils on it as a kind of defuser
Another viewer said that the small hearts are just supposed to be put around on other things like table top, plants, and other decor items, but I love the diffuser idea!
Is it terracotta? Maybe it can be used in a sugar jar if it is.. great to keep brown sugar soft. Just a random thought I had.
The plants you put in the tins should already have a pot that has a drainage hole. That way you can take the plant in and out and change it around
4:08 I would undo the crosses and use the beads to make a new garland
2:47 LOVE that basket!!!!!!! I want it!!!
Love the Van Helsing reference!!! 😍😍😍
You could use the big blue tub as an outdoor trash can for those parties you mentioned
You could apply some scented oils to the little hearts and place them around the home. (that's what I did when I received a similar looking gift for my birthday)
you totally paid the exact price as picking up these things in homegoods, i thought you'd get some sort of savings for sure!

As an agnostic pagan I'd happily use those crosses as Halloween decoration.
As a Christian, I'd be upset with those crosses 😅 They aren't that cute and kinda weird lol
@@sam4lotrYeah, believer here and I STILL think these crosses are weird. As other people said, it felt a bit Blair Witch-y.
I have a woven basket like that, which I got specifically for my cats to play in! xD They love it!

In Australia we definitely have a large Christian community and there are local churches and everything but it's no where near to the level of America so when you pulled out the cross garland it was super disturbing to me... like when you are climbing up the stairs at night and your muscle memory miscounted so when you go to step to reach the last one and miss, you're just falling through the air until you crumple on the ground of the landing and you're like "what was that about...?"
Like nothing weird or unusual but also, yes.... yes it is highly weird AND unusual.
I think they're indoor jardinieres that you stand plants in so that the water doesn't drip out the bottom when you water them. Design wise they're... a choice. 😂
Hey Alexandria i have a basjet like that but a little bigger i use for laundry not wet towels just clothes 😂 lol. I actually realky like it. ❤❤❤
If you flip the planter holder upside down you can use them as little tables😂
Also, I really liked the stuff in this box. Though, I like farmhouse decor and I do think if the products arent made well it really devalues them. Thats sad. 😢❤
Ooh this is crying out for a AR TJMaxx/ thrift store remake In the vein of last Halloween 🙏🤞
"soil, dirt, rocks.... whatever plants need...." 😂
I have one of those woven baskets from years ago and it is still misshapen from shipping 😢 The creases never came out.
Random roundup plzzzzz we love those
Your hair looks so gorgeous in this video!
Clay hearts description from their website “Spread the hearts like confetti throughout greenery and candlesticks on your holiday tablescape or place an individual heart on top of each tablesetting to bring smiles to those seated at your table!”
I love the heart box.
The van helsing crosses 😂
😂😂😂 the cross garland, I agree, a bit.. creepy
I like it!
However,
As for the creepy wooden cross garland, it gives me fall Halloween haunted house vibes. It would go nicely with my other creepy decor!
It's very hills have eyes meets the children of the corn.
I have a very similar basket like your first item and i use it as my laundry basket 😂 i only put wites/light colours there. Its in my bedroom so it looks okay 😁
