The problem is they weren’t making the right calls at times which caused a lot of problems. I did hear something that the Bears might trade Justin Fields, but I’m not sure. The problem is these coaches are too soft on their players. We all know there will never be another Mike Ditka, but at least have some momentum to get the players moving and winning games.

As a bears and cubs fan I'm always going to be pessimistic. IMO I'm this town you have to be.... to avoid heartache and heart attacks. That said and openly admitted... I find it a bit alarming trubisky needs this level of reassurance and coaching still at this level. I mean it just has a vibe that if they don't praise him he gets in his own head and becomes a headcase or something. I get it.... he has 1 year of starting in college under his belt... but still. At that level you wouldn't think you need to tell your quarterback who just completes a pass or finishes a drive how great he's doing. I'd like to hear nagy mic'd up and talking to trubisky during one of his less stellar games to balance this out a bit.
That said..... trubisky has far exceeded my expectations this year so far so all is good.... for now, haha. Can't wait to see how they do against a good team though this upcoming week against the vikings. If they win..... this team just got that much more interesting. They should beaten both green bay (not a good team) and Miami (not a good team) AND the patriots.... and would've if their special teams just showed up to play that day. Beat the vikings and my pessimism level might be turned to neutral, riding the line between pessimism and optimism. Trubisky needs to have a complete, good game against a good team before I go all in on him.
