As a bari player who articulates too harshly, this is a little harsh. But his tone is good and you all sound great together!
it’s a stylistic choice
Yeah I get that. And it doesn't necessarily sound bad, it's just a little over powering. It could also be the way it's recorded. Bari has never been a fun instrument to mic
I do this too 😂
The entire point is slap tounge
btw, on the bari sax part when there's the dotted eighth note then quarter note tied to a sixteenth note at the end of a measure, it's better to notate that as a dotted quarter note then a sixteenth note tied to a quarter note. this shows the player where the beat is in the measure so it's easier to sight read and more understandable rhythmically.
Those are not equivalent rhythms
@@Loyis sorry, I meant a dotted eighth note then a sixteenth note tied to a quarter note. thanks for pointing that out!
Sounds great but time to adjust the tempo
1.25 speeds sounds close to the original composition
N O I C E
I can play it too, in trumpet, its cool music, and i sucribe! 😊
I’m going to have a stroke after looking at this😂
Sounds really good, I would just say that the trombone player should work on intonation, 4th position was very flat during the entire thing
Check out our new videos to see our progress!
why count off if you're gonna play different tempo
We were feeling silly
