Join me as I Continue my journey attempting to shoot fast more accurately, however coming off of a striker fired pistol to a 1911 / 2011 trigger is not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Bear with me as I shoot the Baer Standard Solutions drill and screw it all up. Over and over again…
In this episode I introduce “The Hammer” my new Staccato XC! I begin getting acclimated with the trigger and overall feel of the gun what an awesome time!
I will be uploading a short this week explaining how to install new magazine springs once they wear. My last episode I began seeing issues which are now resolved due to swapping out new springs.

I'm saving a portion of every paycheck and the XC will be my self-gift when I graduate the police academy. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. Thanks for sharing this video!
No problem brother
Just got my P and saving for the XC now. Great pistols! Keep up the great training bro!
Thanks for the comment and drop that brass in the grass!
Awesome video of the XC. I got one and added the RCR with a Surefire X400.
@@ylafla thanks and enjoy!

Call Staccato, and they will fix that mag release asap and send you two mags for your inconvenience. Customer service is second to none. Facts 👌
@@tymarkham3931 I might just do that thanks!
I was cracking up when you were talking about racking the slide on the XC because I do it constantly to!!! Good Vid Fam!
2A! Thanks man appreciate the feedback bro much appreciated!
People have strong opinions about Holsuns but the 507k with the ACSS Vulcan reticle by Primary Arms is my go to. The outer ring really makes a huge difference when finding the dot. I'm surprised more red dot manufacturers haven't copied that feature.
I love me some ACSS haven’t gotten an optic yet with that reticle. I did venture out from RMR to this Dawson optic which I’m picking up on a little better now. Thanks for the info!
First like and first comment 😀😄
You rock!
Glad I came across this channel 😂.. new sub 👍
Man I’m glad to have ya thanks brother!
Feel like I’m on acid watching this video.

Love it! Nailed it.
@@themartinteamoptimaonereal4835 sorry man. I gave you the time stamp for this vid. use this one: studio.ua-cam.com/users/videoCeFxHSsvg0Q/edit and it's about the 9 minute mark.
I think I want to replace my P with an XC. Think it's worth it?
While I have not shot the P if you can swing the $ I would always go with the 2.5lbs trigger with the inline comp. This gun requires some getting used to with the trigger but it’s def consistent. Heck I would keep the P and get the XC. I have plans on keeping my C2 for sure. Thanks for the comment!
Have had my P for a few months. It is the threaded barrel version with the Dawson Ice comp. Just got the XC last week. I should have just saved and bought the XC from the start. It is incredible. I am probably going to sell the P, as it is obsolete now for e . . .
I’ve shot the xc at a carbine class last July 2023. I wasn’t blown away. I carry a P on duty and took Joe Chambers advice and switched out the stock 13lb recoil spring for a 16lb one. That change made a big difference. Gun shoots extremely flat. With all that said the xc does look bad ass. I just don’t know if the extra cost equals that much performance gain.
@@86keen I hear ya.. I haven't tried going up in spring weight on my P but I did cut down a 5" 12lb. It's probably just in my head but I can get a way more consistent cadence now. I haven't gotten to shoot an XC so I don't know the performance difference yet. Honestly, once I'm over like the 3k figure on one firearm going up to 5k is equally absurd so I might as well. Kind of like my scar 17. It's every bit of 6k sunk in one gun. I like nice things and hate money.
@@bobvagene I get a 20% discount from staccato. I also like nice things but I have to feel that there is add value. I consider Joe chambers from chambers custom a topic expert. Shooting my p with a 16lb spring made me smile more than the xc. Maybe I just need more time on it to really get a feel for it.
Get OUT! 😵
