2017 Roller Pigeons Youngsters 1st time out & spooked by a Coopers Hawk

Youngster 1st time out, and get spooked my a Coopers Hawk. It defiantly put a damper on my day. Nothing we can do but hope they learn to keep away and not get eaten LOL.

Its always a gamble with these young squabs!! either some get homed and others just take flight!! gd luck this year with your rollers!!

It's good to let them out with the more experienced birds , because they'll follow them and won't get lost. And first time out they don't know what to do.

What a catastrophe bud . High buildings around you and tall trees . You seriously need some droppers to hang around the box and keep the young uns calm .
