Time flies when watching these videos - it's crazy. Thanks for making these Trip, best part of the day. Easily. If I can't camp right now... best thing is to watch someone else live their best life #canadaprobs #winter
My guess is otter tracks. :) You can see the claws really good in the tracks and because of their long body they kind of hop when they are on land. It depends how fast they are moving. Rabbit tracks usually have that long part from their back legs.
Tripp, I came across your channel by mistake. I'm not even mad... I am so entertained by your humour and general outlook on life. Thanks for the laughs. Subscribed.
i think that other structure that you originally thought used to be a house, was probably the remains of the docks where the ships were parked when the storm hit. as i understand it, there was a full fledged port there, and it was all destroyed by the hurricane in the late 1800's. it also shows you how much that island has moved since then. those docks used to be on the other side of that island.
Cant believe you did this on an inflatable. Its amazing how great they are making them. Blackfin just released the model V touring board for 2019, I wonder how it compares to your red paddle co board? Blackfin also has upgraded their pump again for 2019 seems like a great company, I'd love a red paddle co board too though, everyone is always telling me how great they are, hopefully the blackfin I bought is almost as good! Thanks again for the content.
Yep, it is amazing.... Well, the Red is going to be stiffer because of the high PSI and it has a stiffening batten in it. It's also a bit narrower and longer than the XL and a bit lighter. So in the end it's going to be faster..... I haven't paddled a Blackfin '19 but I'd like to try their Blackfin V out! You're welcome!
@@TripSmith Yeah the V looks great, also the 2019 upped the pressure to 18 psi, I'm not sure if the 18 went to 18 psi, still nowhere near the reds 25 however. I'll have to save up for a second board, hopefully a Red, thanks for the reply!

I am rigging my kayak to attach a mountain bike over the tail hatch I've done it before and over the Columbia River. In case I couldn't go upstream. The panniers stow in. The bow. I could lock the kayak ad bike anywhere.
For real! I took a 3" piece of old rusty fence wire to the bottom of my foot three years ago (it punctured my sandal)... couldn't walk for two weeks, puncture wound didn't close up for six months, and still have occasional nerve pain to this day. I won't play with stuff like that again.

Cool adventure, but I'll take a hard pass on the mosquitoes. We have them that size here from about middle Spring until about the end of fall. They are like vultures here and will pick your bones clean if you stay out in them! Its amazing that those boats lasted hidden like that for 120 years. But when I look at the footage I see remnants of some good old solid workmanship in them. I can't but wonder how they wrecked?!
Glad you enjoyed it Larry! They are tough for sure lol Yea I was surprised they lasted as well. They were anchored offshore I believe when a hurricane came through....

Enjoyed the video. Did want to share that the Twain quote may be misattributed (See marktwainstudies.com/the-apocryphal-twain-the-things-you-didnt-do/) Grew up near here (actually in Bay Co.) and have wanted to go find the shipwrecks at Dog Island.
Thanks! Oh wow lol interesting.... Make it happen, check em out!
Don't forget to replace your bum bug spray. Also, I'd advise against chasing hurricanes for views
Haha Thanks! Well, it wouldn't be so much for views as it would be for the fun.... Or the experience....
