Hey guys! I noticed some of you are upset I paused during a David Gilmour guitar solo. And for that I am sorry! I will try harder in the future to not pause during a solo. Having said that I want you all to understand it's tough finding the proper moment to pause! Thanks to those who are understanding. Peace!
@johnslopreacts-Imagine you’re pouring the coals to your wife and just when you’re about to erupt, she stops you and starts talking about how great you were doing. That’s kind of what it’s like to interrupt a David Gilmour solo.
IMHO the best live version of this song is not this, but in Gdansk, Poland - video is at David Gilmour's official YT channel. Orchestra rather than synths & Gilmour plays a beautiful extended acoustic outro backed by soft violins. *Chef's kiss.*

Pulse was a double CD Album and tour ! Pulse tour in 1994 i went to that concert in Montreal at the Olympic Stadium and there was songs from different albums ! this one is from the Division Bells album wich was their latest album at that time ! was a great show ! i also bought the CDs in a dark blue hard cardboard case with a red light on the side of it ! a pulse ! lasted for a few years ! 😎
You are the only person notice gilmour sling his acoustic behind his back, so he can access it quickly to finish off the song with it. What is your keyboard, controller or synth?
You’re not hearing flies but bees. Great song. This was after Waters. Love the T-shirt and jeans David wears. He lets the music do all the talking. He and PF are master musicians 😊.
No you didn't wait all the way til the epic climatic solo to bust in and start adjusting stuff and randomly chatting with folks. Ahh! And you were doing so well too. smh 👎

David does more with fewer notes then Slash and Eddie combined! ✌
Gilmour is THE MASTER. The older I get (51) the more I appreciate the greatness of Floyd, truly masters of their craft. No one is Pink Floyd.
High Hopes was the last song, from the last album with lyrics, 'Division Bell'. and what a extraordinary song it was.
I still think of it as the last song full stop.

Bad mojo pausing in the middle of a DG solo, its like 10 years bad luck!
Original members David Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason. Guy Pratt (Richard Wright's son-in-law) replaced Waters on bass.
It's alright kids, when you grow older you'll understand the lyrics which are deep and about the human condition.
