    59, female: can only watch her short videos. Her truth hits so hard for me. I shed a tear that I went thru so much of the painful things she talks about. Starting at 50 yrs old so many doctors stopped listening to me. One even laughed 😮 when i told him i was in pain and was worried...🥀My health and quality of life has been crap these past 3 yrs, but at least now I feel like I have some knowledge, power and a road map.🙏🏽

    One of the best interviews I have seen from Dr. Haver. I have seen dozens of her interviews and have learned a lot from her. I also follow her Galveston Diet. This has been an interview I have sent to men and women many times, and then they write back to me wanting more information. Thank you for your work, Dr. Haver.🙏

    Thanks for all the info you give us. Can you please give us your opinion on the latest cohort study in Norway (2024) about HRT and breast cancer? I'm in my mid 40s and soon will need to take an informed decision on how to approach menopausal symptoms.

      That particular study was not a randomized controlled study, rather it was observational and didn't control for other risk factors for cancer like alcohol consumption.

It was like all the sudden all my muscle tone went away my boobs started sagging and gained alot of weight over night. I'm 5'5" I used to weight 125lbs. I now weight 165lbs. I can't seem to loose any weight. I have diabetes high cholesterol high blood pressure tachycardia major depression disorder narcolepsy panic attacks and anxiety. How can I get hormone replacement therapy?

      You would need to see a doctor who educated in menopause. Either a gynecologist or an endocrinologist. Here is an article from our website to help you find a menopause educated doctor. There are also telemedicine options in case you live in an area that doesn't have a lot of choice in doctors.

    Doctor, I was on HRT but I suffered a pulmonary embolism due to it. They stopped my HRT, and now I'm menopausal at 42 and feel miserable. What should I ask my doctor for? Or how to self help?

    • @maryclairehavermd8473

      You could ask to see if transdermal Estradiol would be safe for you. Transdermal Estradiol does not increase the risk of blood clots because it is not processed by the liver.

    Hi,Dr Haver I recently go through some of your videos it's very informative I need to know so what is the cure of loss of bone density after menopause.

    • @maryclairehavermd8473
      @maryclairehavermd8473  21 день тому

      Prevention is the best way to combat bone loss but if you already have osteoporosis then increasing your calcium intake through food and lifting heavy weights combined with seeing someone who specializes in the treatments of osteoporosis is best.

    For an ER+ DCIS patient who underwent surgery and completed radiation therapy but now has to complete 3 years of Tamoxifen intake - what is the option? For someone who is also experiencing perimenopause - what is the option? All the symptoms are present and despite concerns of the cardiovascular conditions - seems like hormone replacement is not an option. Are there any recommendations you can give? Thank you!

      Do you follow the social media accounts of Estrogen Matters and Dr. Corinne Menn? They are the experts in options after cancer. There is some new research emerging in this field so they are definitely worth following. Estrogen Matters is also a book and a great resource. On instagram there is also an account called Menopause_and_Cancer that is excellent. Dr. Haver's Menopause Toolkit includes more than just HRT. Here is an article on the topic. thepauselife.com/blogs/the-pause-blog/the-ultimate-menopause-toolkit-an-anti-inflammatory-approach-to-managing-menopause

      For a more comprehensive look at how to alleviate the symptoms of menopause please check out Dr. Haver’s book The New Menopause. It has strategies listed that include non-HRT. thepauselife.com/pages/the-new-menopause-book

      Getting enough vitamin D is helpful as well as getting calcium through food. Dr. Haver has a collagen called Skin and Bone that contains the collagen Fortibone which has been shown to help with bone health. Lifting heavy weights is also a great way to build bones.
