    I wept epic tears. This is the most beautiful... I cant... you just... This is the evolution of Lego. Minecraft, 7 days, all of these builder style games. Being able to drive an AT-AT that you BUILT, digitally or IRL i don't care which, is a childhood dream. My wife is laughing at/with me for bouncing around like a little kid.

    You can set up the turrets to fire separately if you group the guns/missiles according to which turret they're on in the console, then drag the corresponding group name from the menu to the hotbar.

    Think about I can say, that the walking can be Fix, first, left front leg, then rear Right leg, after that right front leg, then left rear leg. Thats the Stabilized Walking of an 4th leg Walker.

    You could connect the turrets to the ground with landing gear. I have seen many people use this approach when building turrets

    Looks good, but you could add some lights inside the cargo bay as well as an inside button to shut the doors

    I find the attack on Hoth was a flawful attack by the Empire. Even though they still won I find it having a few flaws.

    • @mistersmiley9425

      Same with AT-AT design.

    • @fallboy6123
      @fallboy6123 9 років тому

      NOD Gaming True, but the AT-AT's design was made to strike fear into opponents, not just simply murder them.

    • @mistersmiley9425
      @mistersmiley9425 9 років тому

      Yeah but if I saw it coming I'd just go behind it and spew rockets into it's ass.

    • @fallboy6123
      @fallboy6123 9 років тому

      NOD Gaming Yeah, but the ppl were scared of those, some even worshiped them. So the Empire's plan for the AT-AT worked.

    So are you going to go back to this and program a walk cycle with a timer block array?
    Cause once you know the timing, doing something like that is very possible.
    Also, I would probably swap out the cockpits for passenger seats (although seeing the door from the neck transition is pretty cool), I'm pretty sure you can just remote operate it from the seats.
    I'm also guessing the conveyer system probably needs a rebuild, cause if you used rotors to attach the head, you could use the new ones to expand the cargo capacity for the guns, and maybe even change the rocket launchers to the reloadable ones if you can get the piping right.

    Is there at m6 in space engineers

  • @jasonrtz
    @jasonrtz 10 років тому

    Very awesome creations! Have you considered retooling so the front left and rear right legs work together and vice versa? This may offer you additional stability when walking however I don't know if the feet may strike each other. Regardless very nice work!

    • @PurrfectBlinky
      @PurrfectBlinky  10 років тому

      I have actually tested this out and considered it through and through, but the problem with the cross-legs is that the feet that take the step forward never reach the ground in time to make distance, I am considering an additional hip-joint to maybe fixt this, but as of now, this is the most valid way of doing things. (Feel free to experiment, as I did again today, and you'll see why I chose this setup :D)

    • @jasonrtz
      @jasonrtz 10 років тому

      Purrfect Space Industries I don't think I'd dare modify what you've done. You sir are a masterbuilder. :) Do you think you'll take a stab at the AT-ST next? Oh and someone needs to drill out an asteroid and stick a giant worm head in there that pops up and snaps its mouth shut. lol

    • @PurrfectBlinky
      @PurrfectBlinky  10 років тому +1

      Jason Ratz Done, I stabbed it, and that AT-ST it is now taking it's steps, won't call combat ready just yet, but you can check it out on the workshop and see for yourself :)

    • @jasonrtz
      @jasonrtz 10 років тому

      Great I will check it out first chance I get! Do you plan on moving to another Sci-fi franchise when you've completed building everything from Star Wars?

    • @PurrfectBlinky
      @PurrfectBlinky  10 років тому

      Jason Ratz Only time can tell, but Im currently contemplating on making a Thor from the Starcraft Universe... so yes, I am not restricted to just Star Wars or Star Citizen. :)

    • @PurrfectBlinky
      @PurrfectBlinky  9 років тому +1

      +lordzac12255 By a matter of fact... it is my current project :D However a lot of problems are encountered when using blast doors and heavy armor... as everything is heavy as Hoth in real gravity. Expect some kind of update on it soon though, the ATAT is one of my favorite Sci Fi vehicles since a long time ago!

      +Purrfect Space Industries I can't what for it to be available for ground assaults. I hope that the mod goes smoothly for space engineers.

    AWSOME but tiny AT ATs

    • @PurrfectBlinky
      @PurrfectBlinky  9 років тому

      +ATLAS ROBOTICS Haha, yes indeed sir, I build them back then to their ''Official Scale" but soon found out that thats is not correct in the slightest. Working on an updated model that is not 22 meters, but 30! Through that one it actually makes sense in layout, height and available seating. I just have them get them walking though.... images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/430446060895277594/7DD80E5694E6DA62332AF146C22BA781F1D71841/

      +Purrfect Space Industries I'm sorry, but your height listed is wrong. loading up your world and comparing the height to a large block tower your AT-AT stands at about 17.5 to 18.75 meters currently (SE wiki lists large blocks at 2.5 meters cubed, and small at 0.5 meters cubed) your AT-ATs are about 3.75 to 5 meters shorter then the official scale.
