Wonderful video. Just want to comment that the spoon loops are pressed in half, then the raw edges are folded into the center and then they are pressed again before being topstitched on both sides. There is a diagram in the pattern. The spoon loops will then be about 1/2" wide. A good substitute for fusible fleece (fusible lightweight polyester batting) is regular batting. A good substitute for the fusible foam batting would be two layers of batting cut to same size as teacup pocket (one layer of regular batting in place of the foam batting is not enough - you need two layers of regular batting to achieve the same thickness of padding and the same look). Sherry Ramaila / Steamtorium (Teacup Holster pattern designer).
I'm so glad you showed all the pressing. When I first began sewing, I didn't press between steps, and it really made things look less finished, and more homemade. Pressing matters. good work. Love steampunk.
You're very welcome! Not gonna lie, I was like that when I first started out too - it's kind of a pain to stop and press, but it does make all the difference!
Thank you so much for this! I bought this pattern and was having a meltdown trying to just follow the printed instructions. I need more visual instruction and this got me through the whole pattern with ease. Definitely going to make more now. Also love the holo taco!
This is so neat! I have never seen anything like this before, but would love to have 1 (I have tea everyday 🫖) I'm just not sure if I could do it/make it? Can you share where you found the pattern? Thank you for sharing this, and I can't wait to see more of your video's
It was fairly easy to put together, and it is rated for 'confident beginner' :) the pattern is from Steamtorium on Etsy: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/493626576/teacup-holster-sewing-pattern-carrier?ref=desktop_listing_share_button

Excellent work! I love this!!
😄Thank you!
Haha love it! Why be a regular adventurer when you can be a ~fancy~ adventurer 😊
Exactly!!
I love the glitter nail polish. I would have definitely gotten it on the fabric ha ha
I nearly did lol! Very careful little strokes :)
Very cute!
I loved how your "cozy" turned out!
Thank you!
I like how your tea cup coordinates with the colour of your holster! Also, Stroopwaffel!
Thank you! I hadn't planned it, but when I was picking which teacup to use, it was the obvious choice!
I love i, its not practical, but pretty ❤❤
Thank you! Definitely not practical, but very pretty and fun!

That is freaking cool. I need that pattern......Update, I just purchased the pattern and the corset belt too.
Yay! I think everyone should have a teacup holster - it always puts a smile on my face when I look at it :)

I'd like to see a collab between you, Living Anachronism and Skill Tree. Practical real life adventuring kit. 🥰
Oooh! I've been following Living Anachronism for about a year and I would SO be down for a collab like that!
