Sorry a lot of your season 9 reactions were taken down and had to be re-uploaded Applegeek...but this is one of Big Mac's greatest episodes in my opinion, Big Mac and Sugar Belle's wedding was just beautiful!!
A missed opportunity to not include Starlight at the wedding. She’s just as significant as Sugar Belle’s village friends.
I pictured an alternate ending to be like this:
_(Shortly after they’ve kissed and start to walk down the aisle, Sugar Belle briefly pauses and sees a familiar Pony from afar, distant from the other wedding guests. It’s Starlight! She runs immediately to her and they hug.)_
“Starlight! You made it!”
“It was a last minute rush, Sugar Belle. _(excited)_ But I couldn’t forget your big day!”
They begin walking together towards Big Mac.
“Congrats to you both! I’m happy for you!”
_(They then quickly turn their attentions toward Discord’s singing apples, staring at them awkwardly.)_
My guess is after that spell incident, Big Mac chose to not invite Starlight
Nah Starlight is not that important or relevant for this episode
They forgot about Starlight completely.

You can actually see their wedding on the "last episode" where twilight goes full celestia. When twilight is looking through the newspaper you can see a brief picture of them.
That's beautiful.
This episode totally deserved to be the last stand-alone episode before the finale! It gets ya right in the feels.

That part where Discord yelled "Big Mac is going to propose to Sugar Belle?!" (and it echo'd across Ponyville) had me laughing my ass off, same with Discord's apples at the end. 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣

aaaaa this episode it made me cry in the end- honestly made me love sugar bell more. super happy for big mac that hes married to somepony who loves him very much. plus love they got married in front of the trees big macs parents planted. super touching. ;-;
