Suggestion: when final tap down on aluminum frame, use a 2x4 board between the hammer and aluminum transition..this will put down an even and unblemished finish

I think the idea if you're running vinyl flooring into a room that has carpet, is to cut the final strip of vinyl flooring into the bedroom or whatever to where you get enough flooring to nail the strip onto.
