How to Plasti Dip mirrors and headlights

- I had the opportunity to Plasti Dip the side-view mirrors and added some white eyelids to the headlights.

Definitely doing my mirrors soon. Had my Jetta for a year and I'm amazed I haven't done it yet. Looks so much better black, I also have a white car.

Mirrors look great I was thinking of doing that to my car but was wondering how many cars of plasti dip you used and where you bought the glossifier

Do you let the black plasti dip dry first before putting the glossifier or you putting it right after you put your last coat of black without letting it dry?

make sure the black is dry before spraying the glossifier. Also, if you have tape that is acting as a separator, then make sure the very last coat of plasti dip is wet when you peel back the tape. Check out this video (ua-cam.com/video/rSUkbUfJZsw/v-deo.htmlm28s) for better reference.
Mirrors have turned put great, I also kinda dig the headlights! I watched your other video where you p-dipped your roof... I have an Audi A6 2000., 2.5 V6 TDI in a metallic gray color and want to plasti dip my roof in matte black, so I would like to ask you, how many cans of plasti did you use on your roof to cover it well before you started to apply the gloss plasti? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work! :D
Thanks for the compliment and support! Audi's are nice! I believe I used 5 black and 2 glossifier. Second coat of black was full coverage. I suggest buying extra cans just in case. Happy dipping and keep it wet for each streak

How much durability did you get on the roof that was plasti-dipped? At least one year?
I got longer than that. It was still good when I peeled it off. You can usually expect 2-3 years.
How long did the eyelid plasti dip last for and how many coats did you do
I took it off a month later because I was changing my car a lot at the time. I did 3 coats but recommend 4-5 coats of plasti dip.

I was honestly considering that but I don't know how to go about doing that without having to use vinyl wrap. Any ideas?
I've seen it done with Plasti dip but i think it would look funny since you wrapped the emblems. I'd either wrap those too or Plasti dip them gloss black like I did.
I actually bought those emblems! Got both for 15$! haha. Maybe i'll just spend the 100$ to by the CF mirror caps

Who else thinks it's dumb that lowes can't sell paint if ur under 18 not even plasti dip im 17 i wanted to get it but hey go to Walmart they don't care
Lowe's thinks every minor wants to get high. Walmart doesn't care as long as you give them money.
