Hyperdip Gloss Black Side Mirrors - Mercedes C-Class

- Gloss black straight out of the can which can be used for wheels, grills, emblems and other small objects like these side mirrors i did on my 2009 Mercedes C300 W204. This is Piano black Hyperdip from dipyourcar and is a removable coating which is set to last anywhere from 2-4 years. I might vinyl wrap my door handles to match the rest of the black accents. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

The doorhandles will look great, the same color of the door mirrors that black coating that you put on exactly the same will be great. It matches every shiny black on your vehicle.
Thanks i wrapped the door handles and they do look really good. I have a video out on it too
What a difference!! Love the mod and especially the fact you can reverse at any time 💪
Thank you man
Just a quick tip..Make sure those tack/dust coats go on very lightly, this allows the dip to have a foundation for it to grab onto when doing the heavier wet coats. This helps prevent runs and sags.
Looks good man! keep up the videos
Hyperdip gets scuffs and scratch easier than anything I’ve ever used. Looks nice for a day.
If you take care of them using dip coat and washing often it will be fine
Lookin good 🔥
The gloss out of the can is pretty damn good! looks very similar to the vinyl wrap you have on the center console pieces!
Def do the door handles and tint the side mirror indicators, sticks out too much now that the housing is black
Thanks for ur input! I will consider it
Maybe put light tint on the side lights on the mirrors so they dont stand out as much .
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks good, I was always wondering if Hyperdip was good enough for larger items outside of emblems. To me it looks more of a shinier satin than gloss. Would you say it has the same gloss and texture as a piano black vinyl?
With aerosols u should only do smaller objects because if you do a big object like a hood then ur going to get stripes. Its best to use a gallon and a spray gun for larger areas. The gloss is great results for straight out of the can but gloss black vinyl is shiner gloss, also harder to install on side mirrors and certain objects.
I thought about doing my door handles but decided against it bc of the usage. Wear and tear probably make touch ups a regular occurrence
I just did mine last week and i think if its done properly it will last awhile. I made a video about it on my channel
You need that black Mercedes hood emblem 👌🏼
I agree! I might plasti dip and 2k clear coat mine
@@EhabHalat if you don't wanna spend $50 for a new genuine part then that would work but here's a link to the one I put on mine. It just pops out and you put the new one in

👍👍👍👍
The ambient temperature in Saudi Arabia can arrive up to 55 degrees C can i use Plastic Dip to paint my car
You should tint the mirrors signal also the headlights
I did the side mirror signals and i might get aftermarket tinted headlights. Still thinking about it
Nice! Did you hyperdip the trim, too? Do you have a video of that?
No the window trim i always use vinyl wrap because it holds up better from experience
how many cans you need for 4 rims of plastidip or hyper dip?
thanks great video
Usually 4-5 cans depending on wheel size
I have matte black Range Rover wheels wanting to change them over to gloss. Any tips ?
Check out my video plasti dip with 2k gloss
How is the texture? Is it rubbery feeling like plastidip is? Or is it smooth like paint?
Its a-bit smoother than plasti dip but not paint smooth
For mirror caps, how many cans did you use again?
I think it was one can per mirror
Can you hyper dip over black dip base coats?
No you cannot
How many cans did u use?
I used 3 cans total for extra durability
@@EhabHalat thank you
Add a 2k clear
Not over hyperdip it will get a reaction
It's hopeless I got some last week straight after I saw it on UA-cam I done all the chrome trim 3days latter I was cleaning the glass a drop of the glass cleaner dropped on the dip it destroyed it I had to do the whole length of the trim again & the grill if bugs stick to it which they do you carnt use bug remover because it will strip the dip it's a waist of money & effort
Www.dipyourcar.com has cleaning products and protectant made for the plasti dip and hyper dip products
do u have the link?! and can i use it on plastic mirror?
Www.dipyourcar.com go to the hyperdip section
Do not use on plastic
@@EhabHalat darnnnnn! is there something i can use to make my mirror match my other gloss black mirror?
Try using plasti dip black and 2k gloss by spraymax. I have a video spraying rims on my channel you can check it out
@@EhabHalat i jus watched it 😁! can u kindly drop the link to the 2k gloss spraymax so ik which can i am getting 🫣
I understand blacking out chrome trim. I understand blacking out those side mirrors as well. Those are all logical and good choices. HOWEVER, that being said, it is moronic to black out wheels. Black wheels NEVER look good. Even if you did a great job and the rim looks good up close, standing back and taking in the whole car view from any direction, black wheels look like hammered crap. Black provides ZERO contrast from the tires, which is a big part of setting off great wheels, as well as the car's paint. Instead with black wheels, it looks like a hole is there. In my opinion white/chrome is almost as bad. Wheels look great in most of the metallic colors other than chrome. Even a darker polished aluminum looks great. But black and white suck! Anthracite, bronze, gun metal, darker gold, brass and darker copper all look great on nice wheels. Last thing, gloss black looks cheap in the interior of a car. Flat or Satin look much more refined and fit an interior much better.
Just a note... Nice vid.
I strongly disagree! Blacking out wheels makes the vehicle look more aggressive and sportier in my opinion, changing the colour to anything other than silver or chrome is a good choice in my books as long as it flows with the body paint on the vehicle especially if you black out all the chrome then black wheels go good with that
