Blows my mind someone buys that expensive a truck and does little to no maintenance to it. Probably no money left after the payment 😅

2:20 One of the reasons why daytime running lights should be yellow, not white. Biggest reason they should NOT be white is all the people running around at night without their lights on, but they think their lights are on because of the white daytime running lights.

It's not the white DRL's that are confusing them. It's the dash lights that are on all the time with digital displays. Also most new cars have auto lights but the idiots turn them off because they are not wanting the government to tell them what do with their vehicles.

A good shop would refuse to touch the vehicle, including just an oil change if the customer refused any safety related repairs. It is a liability on the shop!

Texas inspections not needed is just not true. That law doesn't go into effect until 2025 and even then, there are a number of Texas counties that will still require the emissions inspections.

Daytime running lights are on when the truck is running. Turn off the ignition and they will turn off. We have been dealing with DTRL's since 1991. There is nothing wrong with the truck.

I agree the DRL are too bright, but why would there be a way to turn them off? They're DRL !

Day time running lights-select side lights.
They didn't do it in the video.

What happened to brakes, suspension, steering, tracking, lights, frame, exhaust system, etc?
If they were never part of an inspection, what were the dumbass Texans thinking of?

Its true on the DRLs on that Ram. I have pretty much the same truck. Completely stock. Get high beam flashes from oncoming cars quite frequently.

You are turning the headlights on in all positions of the switch you are turning to. Try turning them off during the daylight hours. It's the last position on the right of the switch called AUTO.

@@michaelvarble4392 If the lights stay on then the sensor is broken or covered and the system thinks it's dark.

I’m pretty sure in England if a car is unsafe and the customer refused the repair they can refuse to let them drive it away ... of course they can trailer it away and still put it on the road with no repair but the garage is not responsible
