Thanks. Just back from a two day mountain hike with our rescue galgos, so this was perfect timing. Btw, nobody I know does these kind of videos better than you, Sandy.
I do try to be, I think we should all try to live our best lives and live with love in our hearts but sometimes it takes age to come to this conclusion
Carmen had that "I'm the luckiest dog in the world" look in her eyes. Thanks for posting. this video, Sandy. Many years of adventure with your new camp mate.
One man and his dog,, 🐶,, priceless,,, thank you so much for showing us this one,,, brings back so many happy memories of my beloved whippet Raf,, Thank you, Sandy and Carmen,,, 👍🐶 ps,, if I had your leather working skills, I'd make her a lovely collar, that's for sure,, (that'd be a good video, ?? ) All the best,, John..

Lovely to watch, always enjoy your content. So nice to see Carmen on her first camp. We unfortunately lost our beagle of 13 years recently so I’ve lost my camp buddy. Thanks for sharing Sandy. Best wishes 👍
Wot a breath of fresh air not trying to out do anyone I have been getting tried of it all gear addicts I started watching utube videos to relax but lately just stress well this I enjoyed thank you
G'day Harold. I have had some rough days, and know that sometimes everything is just a grind. Just hang in their friend, and hopefully, things will improve. Best wishes from an Aussie supporter.
Glad to see your dog Carmen enjoyed her first overnight camp, at least you know she enjoyed herself as much as you Sandy. Your evening meal boil in bag reminded me of our 24 hr ration packs. Dave B. Thailand.
Like your vids, always have - especially like your new camping buddy ! Reminds of camping with my rescue chi Crystal. We are both 71 and now I got the bug to try again.
What a great video thought the dog was really well behaved in and out the tent 👍 and you’ll know if she enjoyed it when you start packing the tent next time she’ll be sit right beside you 😊 best company in the world. M
Thank you Sandy, I did enjoy that video. Piran who is also our rescue dog a JRT loves his camping with me also the sound of wildlife around in the night even a cowboy camp under the stars with no tent last year. Nothing like it I think we are so lucky to experience the pleasures of nature.
Great video Mr W, really enjoyed it. Aren’t dog great, give them a bit of love and they give it back 10 times greater. Carmen certainly looks happy, if you take steak next time Mr W she’ll be even happier
O my what a lovely being Carmen is! Intelligent too. I'm guessing she's Heinz variety with collie and saluki in the mix,am I close? Feeling so much calmer for watching you two in peace in nature, thanks
My dog just loves the tent. Its safe and dry ..... and she gets to cuddle up. 😂 Sadly my first dog, a Scottish Deerhound, couldn't do it as he was scared of confined places. The previous owners, who the breeder claimed hom back from, had a vile daughter who'd put him in the boot of the car as a puppy and abused him.
Hi Sandy. It's really good to see how your dog, Carmen, has come on from when you first got her. You've obviously spent a lot of time and effort with her, and it's given her confidence and enabled her to enjoy her life much more. Those little Tangia stoves really are something else. Such a simple little design, but when they get going, well... My one lives in one of the boxes on my bike virtually all the time, so handy for a brew or to cook something. I run mine on mentholated spirits, and an old boy, who told me he'd been a Scouts leader, said that I should try adding a bit of water to the meths, as apparently is reduces the amount of soot on the bottom of your pans. - As you're a confirmed stoveaholic, wounderr if you've heard similar? Regards, David
She walks so wierd, lol. The only way I can describe it is, she looks very smooth while she's on the leash. Almost like she's swimming through water. Great video, and a really cool place. Hope you both enjoyed your time!
Lovely video Sandy, even I felt relaxed after watching it. I think the term " Piping Hot" originated in Scotland where they pipe the food in on the Bagpipes for special occasions.
She knows she's safe as long as she's with you. Home is where the heart is. You put a lot of effort into setting up the camera and it contributes to the quality of your production. Thanks, Ronn
Love your videos Sandy but this one is something else. Carmen was such a sweetheart and love the relationship you have with her, so gentle. Thanks for sharing 👍
Like sandys camping videos when did ridgeway West Highland hope does more walks camping like that and this but bike stuff still good fun watching all good
I love that area up by Stratton Woods - listen to rainfall & thunderstorms most nights on a recording I have. Love that sound. Reminds me of camping as a kid.
Really lovely to see you camping again with a canine companion :-) Also I've got to make note of all the extra mileage you must have to put in for these great videos, retrieving the camera after all the walk-past footage you do! Great job Sandy :-)
Carmen was a little star, Sandy! She's a super camping dog. I'm pleased you'll be able to take her on more camping trips now. I know you miss having a dog with you. All the best to you and the family. Paul
You can judge a man by how he treats his dogs and I can see you are a good man
Great video, and the way you care for your dog is lovely ,thank you
Life is better with a dog. Thank you for the great vid.
Thanks. Just back from a two day mountain hike with our rescue galgos, so this was perfect timing. Btw, nobody I know does these kind of videos better than you, Sandy.
Ah Bjorn those are kind words:) Thankyou. I am enjoying my two Spanish rescue dogs very much and hope to do more camps soon.
My dogs are never on the leach . I feel horrible to put them on a leach .
@@BushcraftQuebec in England you have to sometimes, sadly.
She looks a bit like a border collie greyhound cross
You are a true gentleman. A decent human being.
A pleasure to spend some time with you ... always.

I won't tell Meg that Carmen gets a cooked tea when camping or she'll be getting jealous. Can't beat the sound of rain falling on a shelter.
I'm sure Meg would be happy to know Carmen got a good meal:)
