I live in Perth and have been compelled by this case for years - I search it every couple of months in case there has been an update, so I can’t believe Dr Grande has shared it. Love to see the Kehlet’s case still being talked about. Probably Graham killed them - Jennie could have been dropped off out in the open, near where Graham was supposedly spotted on the road in the morning. One strange thing apart from Ray’s boots, wounds, and position.. is that his remains were skeletal - not in a state of normal decomposition for that length of time.. and no predators down a mine shaft. "Suffering from a lack of existence" is a phrase that conjures up many possibilities for a fiction writer. I absolutely will make that a part of my everyday vocabulary. I'm really enjoying the good Dr's use of alliteration. Abecedarians are affecting, and adding amusement, as always. Accolades!
Prospecting/mineral exploration in Australia is extremely popular and a big deal due to our rich and vast mineral deposits and reserves. It has also been competitive and murderous since the Gold Rush. I reckon they found something big and valuable and Graham wanted it. All allegedly of course. On a different note, kangaroos are a big problem/hazard on the roads in rural and outback Australia and they can do a hell of a lot of damage if you hit one with your car - and it's sad for the roo too of course. ☹️ I have to agree to an extent with Graham's "constant concerns about a crushing and collosal kangaroo collision". Love the way you describe it though.
I was a passenger in a car that hit a massive big male kangaroo on the Hay Plains in western NSW. The car rolled and we all had gashes and other injuries. The roo was still alive, it was awful. Luckily a couple of trucks travelling behind us stopped to assist and put the kangaroo out of it’s misery and took us into Hay.
@@pumpthebrakes Good Lord. Glad to hear you’re ok. It must have been quite a harrowing and distressing experience. Glad the truckies were able to assist you. We drove across the Nullarbor many years ago and saw so many roos. It’s amazing we didn’t hit one but there’s plenty of evidence on the side of the road that we were extremely fortunate to not hit one. We saw lots of wedge tailed eagles too. That was cool.
Dr Grande's analyses videos have always been a staple for those concerned with cases with little to no evidences. We can only hope that these cases will receive the better end as time goes by.
I've been following this story since Ray and Jennie went missing and keep coming back to the question of why. I know some killers don't need a why, but Ray, Jennie and Graham were friends and this wasn't their first trip together. Was Graham interested in Jennie romantically and that's why he killed Ray? Was there an argument out at the mine and Ray was killed and then Jennie was killed because she was a witness? Hard to believe charges haven't been brought. Prosecutors might only get one shot but Graham isn't getting any younger. Now is the time to charge him.
Another one of those stories where the truth may indeed remain a mystery, as long as dead men (and live dogs) tell no tales. Thanks, as always, Dr. Grande.
An excellent and thoughtful analysis again Dr. Grande. Just one additional idea that struck me was regarding the dog often running away, that dogs have a highly developed sixth sense. Therefore it sensed an uneasiness at the camp site.
My sister was born in Mt Magnet and I was born in Perth , WA. I am watching this from my unit in Hobart, Tasmania. Side note even Australian's forget where the Australian state of Tasmania is even though it is the second oldest discovered state in Australia (1642) WA being the oldest (1616) .I noticed your map didn't depict Tasmania.........lololol My thoughts are that Graham did them both in after some argument with the deceased in the mine shaft and simply tossed him post mortem into the shaft. he was caught out way too many times lying and only a guilty person lies. The woman's body was probably shot and dumped at a different location .
Tasmania is often omitted from maps of Australia. I’d love to visit even though I can’t think of much to see apart from as big a Huon pine as practical, and perhaps a huge field of opium poppies in bloom. The trees are way older than I am if they’re of much size, and the legal opium business is about five years younger.
It's very odd that Dr Grande knows so much more about this case than I do - I live in Perth and I've never even heard of this! Very mysterious. You should do a video on the Peter Falconio disappearance. He was a British tourist who disappeared in the Outback too. Everyone suspected his girlfriend Joanne Lees killed him - she told a seemingly fantastic story about a bushy haired stranger shooting him and abducting her but it all turned out to be true. A man is in jail now for Peter's murder. A lot of people still doubt Joanne's story but I'm not one of them. Really polarising and interesting case.

Well 3 went off to see the wizard.....only 1 returned.....gee I wonder what that means !!! That was sad. They were loved people. Well not him but the couple was loved by many. The dog was very well trained and obedient. I don't believe for one second that she kept "running away". That's just part of Graham's bullshit story as to why he went off prospecting, supposedly on his own, for 14 hours all through the night!😕. Then packed up and left without them waking, and him not saying goodbye, I'm heading home! Yeah right!!😠. Totally believable. 🙄
I breed Great Danes....I've walked alone with them offleash in many wilderness areas and they won't let me out of their sight. They aren't the type of dogs to run off and not come back to their owners. I'm from Western Australia, also...impossible to completely search effectively the isolated goldfields, there's forgotten mineshafts there since colonisation, searing heat and wildlife that would scavenge corpses.....in millions of acres of desert and scrub. The WA police won't prosecute unless it's a 100 per cent chance of a conviction with Rock solid evidence.... They had several expensive settlements after convictions and charges were overturned in high profile cases like John Button, Andrew Mallard and Lloyd Raney. Gold fever and no witnesses for a hundred miles in any direction makes men do very bad things, is all I can say.
Great job as usual!! ♥️♥️👍🏻👍🏻 One question 👉🏻 How come they haven't found Jennie's body but they assumed she's dead? Why isn't she considered a suspect as well? 🤔
She's gone mate. In Perth there is only six degrees of separation between most individuals. If there was shit going down between them, word would have gotten out. The family was 🤞 it's a real freaking sad case so don't make the Mum a suspect. The family know who did it, there just wasn't enough evidence to nab the bugger.
Part of any police investigation is looking for signs of life after they've gone missing (eg. use of credit cards or bank accounts, phones, social media, etc), any sightings of them, and looking at their life beforehand for indications that they might want to start a new life. They were also camped a long way from civilisation so she couldn't just walk off, and most people would never leave their beloved pet dog to starve out in the bush. It's the accumulation of evidence that tells them it's unlikely Jennie is still alive, sadly.
I wrote this before. Below. But it happened again last night. Or, early this morning. Sometimes I listen to an episode a 2nd, or even a 3rd time. To catch details I might have missed. I don't remember what the scenario was this time, but I was listening. Fell asleep. Maybe my memory will get jogged lol. So I remember the dream. "So this is lighter side ..last night. I had a dream I was telling some guys, "stop talking!" They wouldn't stop. 'Stop talking!" . Then I woke up. I realized I had fallen asleep listening to your videos, 🤣🤣 as people say, you have a "soothing voice " lol. That's why the guys in the dream didn't "stop talking" lol. Turned off the phone, went back to sleep lol 🤣🤣"

"It seems odd that two cartridges are missing, and two people are dead." - Wait a sec, if they found the man at the bottom of the mine shaft, and if he was shot, wouldn't his remains still have the bullet in him?
@@unowen9668 Ok, makes sense. I didn't hear that the homicide was due to a bullet wound, I may have missed that, but further reading tells me that Ray probably died from a bullet wound to the head.

Respectfully, Slight issue with 4:55. While shouting is ideal, guns are much louder than in the movies! which makes shooting to get a hunters attention not unusual. Being from the Sierra Nevada mountains, Mt Lassen, it's common to let hunters know where you are by wearing orange vests even when simply walking or enjoying nature. Make sure they wave!✌🏽 My living habits are much different living near San Francisco which has taught me "normal" is relative. Since researching the norms of each area and people need to be taken into consideration in professions like this, how is that done? What books would you look to?
The ultimate stitch up , I believe , was the Australian outback murder case from 2001 . The John Bradley Murdoch case , and the proven charge of murder , of Peter Falconio .
I had a hs friend named Nathan McKinney who was imprisoned for killing and beheading another teenager named Nathan Pratt in Houston around 200-2001. Could you look into this case?
I would think that they would be using the generator to run many things besides lighting... refrigeration, maybe fans... why would it be off just because they were asleep? If it was enough for Graham to take note of, that would seem to suggest it was unusual.
I checked Google and weather in March in WA is decent, ranging from nights 56°-60° and days up to 80°. Generators are pretty loud. Most people don't use them at night, do they?
Something really caught my attention while listening to the details of this case.... After Dr. Grande explained that it's quite common to not let anybody know exactly where you're going when doing this. & I couldn't help but think YIKES!!
@@jena.alexia did you see any camels? Apparently they are descendants of the first camels brought to Australia for the Burke and Wills expedition
He's just as likely to hit a kangaroo on the sealed road, and most likely cause greater damage since he'd be travelling at a faster speed.
@@pumpthebrakes No sadly but that would've been awesome! I had no idea Burke and Wills used camels but makes sense I guess. Next time hopefully! 😊
Claim jumper paranoia was pretty common when i worked out in nevada in the 1980s , couple scary encounters with crazy prospectors
Dr Grande's analyses videos have always been a staple for those concerned with cases with little to no evidences. We can only hope that these cases will receive the better end as time goes by.
"Out"standing analysis, Dr. Grande! 👍💜🌵
Wow I'm an Australian and I don't remember hearing about this story. Thanks Dr Grande.
Same
Thank you for analyzing this case , hopefully the authorities find the body and shed a bit of light in this very dark murder case .
Thanks for showing people how to get away with murder and poor dog mostl likely watching it all it's a wonder the dog survived, 😢
I absolutely love listening to you! Your delicately sarcastic comment are just perfect ❤
Thanks for the recap Dr. Seuss
So sad and so SICK. Society has devolved into a state of evil.
You are amazing, Dr. Grande! Alluring alliteration as always!
They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but that pic of Graham sure makes it difficult not to.
He separated them. This is worse than it sounds.
Hear what you're saying Des. You could be right there. 😢
Another one of those stories where the truth may indeed remain a mystery, as long as dead men (and live dogs) tell no tales. Thanks, as always, Dr. Grande.
I do enjoy Dr. Grandes intelligent and subtle sarcastic humor.
"Perhaps they were suffering from a lack of existence" made me laugh so hard I thought I might wake up the entire house.
An excellent and thoughtful analysis again Dr. Grande. Just one additional idea that struck me was regarding the dog often running away, that dogs have a highly developed sixth sense. Therefore it sensed an uneasiness at the camp site.
Thank you, I found your analysis of this topic to be informative.
I think you'll find Aboriginal Australians discovered Australia prior to 1616 :)
Dr. Grande's alliteration game is on point lately
Something to do with gold, gold fever. They might have stumbled across a good spot to mine.
Glad you recognized that the dog knows, but isn't talking...
Really enjoy listening to your voice. Thanks for the video.
I love it: "They were suffering from a lack of existence". Good one.
I often think of this case. Other Australian missing persons cases I’d love for you to cover are : Trudie Adams
Sharron Phillips
Also, Joe Bloggs and Blind Freddie.
I have not heard of either of those two for many years.
I was just thinking that myself. A lot of loose ends there, for sure.
Many people believe Murdoch was framed
Hello Dr Grande ❤️..... always great to see you.👀
My goodness this is being investigated by 60 minutes Australia. Well 3 went off to see the wizard.....only 1 returned.....gee I wonder what that means !!! That was sad. They were loved people. Well not him but the couple was loved by many. He of course had to make up some story since he knew he was coming home alone. Problem was ..
he made up a ridiculous lie. He did the perfect crime cause they never could try him. He was the only witness. Crazy how life is hah Dr Grande ? I wonder where Jenny is. Well thank you for this video. It was nice to hear it from you cause I know you give different scenarios of outcome and your dry humor always puts me in a good mood 👍
Thank you again ❤️❤️🌹🇺🇸
Great alliteration as always, Dr Grande! And I don't even know what to call the out- speech! I understand btw that gold-mining is a rather cut-throat business, literally! Thank you for the lovely giggles 😃 😀
Hey Dr. Grande🥰 Thank you for the new video! I absolutely love learning about new cases & this case is one that I'm not familiar with. Learning about a new case AND getting to hear your thoughts & opinions about the circumstances surrounding the case is a WIN WIN! I truly do appreciate you🙏❣️
Not suffering from a lack of existence Dr. Grande I can’t with you 😂😂😂
Thank you for your analysis! I wonder why the dog always ran away-maybe Ella didn’t like Graham? I like your red shirt Dr. Grande!!❤From Jean
Wow. Maybe they struck gold and Graham decided he wanted to keep it all. But they worked together previously, maybe there was some history.
Dr Grande's aptitude for all-ecompassing alliterations is absolutely awe-inspiring!
Excellent analysis as always Dr Grande! Horrific and mysterious.
Dr Grande's alliteration is unmatched
Great job as usual!! ♥️♥️👍🏻👍🏻
One question 👉🏻 How come they haven't found Jennie's body but they assumed she's dead?
Why isn't she considered a suspect as well? 🤔
She's gone mate. In Perth there is only six degrees of separation between most individuals. If there was shit going down between them, word would have gotten out. The family was 🤞 it's a real freaking sad case so don't make the Mum a suspect. The family know who did it, there just wasn't enough evidence to nab the bugger.
Jennie may be living under a new identity somewhere else,... with all the gold.
Why? Maybe because of logic?
it's common to fire 2 shots when in the wild to alert others. 1500 feet is a long way to trust a yell
Another awesome analysis, availing us of yet another set of attributes related to the aforementioned atrocity. A-OK Dr. Grande
God I f!cking love your videos Dr. Grande. Clear and concise with dry humor all over. Just what the doctor ordered, get it?
You are a hard working Man!
The alliteration was wonderful! Thank you for that!!
Dr. Grande: Could you please add to your list, the suspicious death of Elliot Blair? It's a current case, where his wife and he were at a resort in Baja California in January and Elliot was found dead on a walkway three floors below his balcony. Lots of info on Google. Thanks so much.
Now, that one does seem very much like an accident....
Might be “a ground floor relationship “ went up too many stories…….? To quote DrG
How dare you call us "sparse"!
This one a little closer to home than your usual cases. Hopefully there is some conclusion for the families some day.
There’s another case where the body was never found. Peter Falconio. My guess he’s down a mine shaft too but there are hundreds of them.
"Graham's constant concerns about a crushing and colossal kangaroo collision couldn't curtail his craving to come back to camp." Alliterative gold!
This is where outback justice should apply for Graham
"It seems odd that two cartridges are missing, and two people are dead." - Wait a sec, if they found the man at the bottom of the mine shaft, and if he was shot, wouldn't his remains still have the bullet in him?
If it wasn't a through and through shot, as many rifle shots are.
@@unowen9668 Ok, makes sense. I didn't hear that the homicide was due to a bullet wound, I may have missed that, but further reading tells me that Ray probably died from a bullet wound to the head.
Dr Grande consider making an episode on Anita Cobby of Blacktown NSW .
Dr. Grande, that looks like a new addition to your crop of cacti, over on the right (the tall stripey one). Nice!
never mine with people you don't know. it's dangerous even with people you know. greed knows no bound.
Yeah, gotta wonder if Graham suddenly found a lot of gold. 🤔
I always enjoy your videos. This is an interesting one. Perhaps more will be revealed with time.
Good morning Dr Grande. Though there were prospectors were around, the outback of Australia is massive and isolated. I believe Graham allegedly killed these two people and due to the vastness of the area i don't believe they will find Jenny's body, so it would assume Graham allegedly got away with murder. Thank you Dr Grande. Brilliant analysis, tragic outcome and informative topic. Also Happy Birthday , hope you and your loved ones have a great day.
Hello lovely one. ❤ Been praying for you and your family, thinking about you all. 💞💞 Haven't seen you around for awhile. Zena and I are looking for you and sending hugs & love. We're concerned about you, sis. ❤ Reach out, when your feeling up to it. Hugs. ❤💙💛🥰🌷⚘🌹🍀🏵
@@LDiamondz Thank you beautiful. Just needed time. Received both your hugs and love made me tear up. We have accepted what happened but will never forget. I'm just about to go into my 2nd trimester. Missed you all heaps, stay in contact. 😚❤💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💔💔💔--
@@cottontails9003 Oh, and I really missed you! 😘
@@LDiamondz Stay in contact beautiful. In 2nd trimester ❤❤💙💙💙
Graham had really bad luck! The GPS data and the accidental discovery in the mineshaft!
As always, absolutely appreciating all the astute alliteration!⚘️🥰
You’re outstanding overviews are over the top!
Thank you Dr. Grande for educating us about my country, Australia. It's exciting seeing Aus geography explained to others! We live in a wild, beautiful, prehistoric, VAST place ♥️
Edit: btw it was cool that you called them "utes" instead of trucks, too Dr. Grande. 😁 Nobody knew what I meant when I lived in the U.S. and Canada. 😅
Dr Grande is the King of Alliteration
Cool!! Covering a story where I live Western Australia 🇦🇺
Consistent with Dr Grande’s prior video names, this video should have been called “Prospecting trip of Death.” 😂
I wonder if one of them made a beginners luck discovery and it pissed off the dusty old veteran-miner, like “hell that’s my 3Mil$ patch you green horn!” Some Wild West kinda stuff.
Make sure they wave!✌🏽
My living habits are much different living near San Francisco which has taught me "normal" is relative. Since researching the norms of each area and people need to be taken into consideration in professions like this, how is that done? What books would you look to?
This is Australia not America, guns aren't used to communicate
Bc it's never a good idea not to let anyone know where you're going in circumstances like this. Especially bc cell service couldn't be relied on..
Alliteration is always an add-on! Cute and clever!
"If I did it" by Graham
I love your use of alliteration
Very skilled
Dr. Grande, you crack me up! 🤣 I laughed, boisterously, when you said, at 14:05 into the video, “Those two men never came forward, possibly, because they were suffering from… a lack of existence.” I have to say, I just love you and your glorious sense of humor! You make me laugh so often, and I really appreciate that (in addition to all the work you do and providing all the information, education, and entertainment you do)! You are a wonderful human being, in my book! 👍🏻
