FYI: Use Keese eyeballs from a 3 shot bow and these fights are completely trivialized. You don't even have to aim and the shots home in on their eyeball. Killed King Gleeok in less than a minute. Thanks for the video ❤

After you defeat all the gleeok in a single blood moon, it spawns in a double battle with alduin and smaug.
The tricky part is when Fatalis shows up halfway through the fight.
And then King Ghidorah steps in after killing them all
And when it's all over, Deathwing appears
Don't forget about dark Eater midir at the forgotten temple
Then in come Avalanche Abaasy and his brother Dragon King Alcar who purge the demons from the King Gleeok with their fire
Small tip if u want free bullet time just attach a glider to ur shield and do a shield jump u can get bullet time using this method
there is a thunder gleeok in the coliseum as well. Much easier since u can just ascend and get bullet time and get cover from lightnings as well
Yeah i just cheesed this guy by waiting outside the entrance behind the wall then jumping off the rocks shooting all 3 eyes each time he resets his position. His health doesn’t reset so you can just keep doing it each time he loses interest.
@Thanos they must do. I havnt had a bloodmoon since i killed it but it would be weird for there to be a finite amount of horns and wings they drop in every save.
At what point in the game should I try to start fighting these
@@jack_kerins i would kill the one in the coliseum before doing the gerudo story quest. The lighting horn one shots the re deads so it helps a lot with managing your resources
it’s easy with the thunder helm
For gleeoks, especially thunder ones, I recommend using keese eyes and a savage lynel bow or any other lynel bow, and using a spring shield, bomb shield, or wing shield to activate bullet time. Why this works especially well with thunder gleeoks is because with electric keese eyes, you can hit all three heads with one burst of arrows with a lynel bow if you aim for the middle head, due to the thunder gleeok making it stormy, and the shock effect of the eyes home into the critical spot and cause a giant damaging aura.
The lighting ones weakness is the thunder helm you get from the yoga quests

To make it 10x easier on yourself, make sure to have at least a few rockets fused onto shields, and use keese eyeballs on arrows. It makes these fights a walk in the park
I beat the frost gleeok in west Hebra with 9 hearts and 11 defense. My highest damage weapon at the time was a 40 damage frost talus short sword. I built a campfire by one of the rocks so I could hide behind it during attacks and then throw a pinecone on the fire to glide up and shoot the eyes. Any hit from any attack would one-shot me so it took about three tries. The final storm attack was absolutely amazing. Worthy of velkhana
Rocket shield jump into mid air to use the bow's slow down shots with keese eye balls/wings. 3 shot lynel bows or any 5 shot bow creates a very easy stun lock. Melee the side heads as it is stunned as it'll be easier to avoid the wing's wind gusts.
If anyone doesn't know, locking onto it will automatically target a head, so it's free headshots if you're at a closer range.
I saw one on a bridge while flying past. I didn’t even try to get closer.
There's a corrupted King Gleeok in the Gleeok den under Typhlo Ruins in the depths guarding the Cap of Twilight iirc, which tbh isn't a very good reward but the shock of the health bar appearing above my head when I went there for the first time was a reward in it's own right
There's an Ice Gleeok just north of the Snowfield Stable. It's pretty obvious and gets pointed out to you during the sidequest to retrieve Zelda's horse.
There's also another Ice Gleeok that flies around the Biron Snowshelf(The place that looks like a giant bird wing when you look at it from the top of Talonto Peak.
For the king Gleok, I just got the robot sage and kept getting on and back off to get into bullet time and shooting his eyes with bombs attached to arrows with a savage Lynal bow and hit his middle eye for the damage to spread to every eye. It took me about 55 arrows but I didn’t use any attack up bossy so you will probably use less than me. I also hit each head with the opposite element fruit (excluding the electric head) but I don’t feel as if that is worth it compared to the bomb strategy previously talked about.
ive found 4 royal guard bows you can get every bloodmoon in hyrule castle actuallly. in zeldas tower, in her study up above the firepit on the wood frame, the throne room one you mentioned, and finally theres one in the library section below
There's actually a gloom infused king gleeok in the depths, its under the typhlo ruins
Yes that’s the one that you get the cap of twilight from, kind of challenging but extremely fun.
I like to use Rocket Shields to easily defeat Gleeok. Open up the fight from the air and knock it down damage it until it starts to get up and then run so its wing beats don't knock you down use another rocket shield to fly up. If you're fast you can even skip the high up the air nonsense.

I was struggling with these guys then watched the video and dont know why I didnt think of using bulet time to snipe the eyes. Makes these guys 100% easier
honestly, just use keese eyes (or any eyes) on arrows, especially on a multishot bow. That lets you rapid fire arrows and focus on dodging.

i met my first gleeok by akala shrine. (still doing my towers right now so, no MAJOR spoilers... lol)
ill be back here in a month. im slowly enjoying the game.
sadly, i AVOIDED hyrule tower so that delayed ALOT of towers, lol.
but i got a few shrines and face planted ... a lot.
even went into a chasm/abyss and face planted there.
for the fire gleeok, when he does his mid attack (lasers, then fireballs, then final smash), the fireballs, you can parry them back (remember guardian lasers)
You can use Gerudo Lightning Helmet found in the Yiga main hideout to get no damage from the lightning strikes in the final phase. You can literally stand in them waiting for the updraft.
There is a Fire Gleeok sitting in the middle of hyrule bridge, most obnoxious place to have one because that is one of the only land routes that leads to southern hyrule with horse.
You can jump from the southern most shrine on the great sky plateau. That way you get on the Faron side of the bridge. There is a stable right after that bridge 2.
Theres a gloom King Gleeok in the depths i think it was under Typhlo Ruins I saw that caught a photo for the compendium and ran like hell the instant scaffolding schema stone helped me beat the Fire Gleeok even helped me dodge its super attack with ascend, and catch the updraft beforehand i was backflipping off the top for bullet time and at the top of Hyrule castle is a respawning Dusk Bow which does 30 damage and longer range than the average bows thanks for the wind tip btw didnt know that. Try using korok leaves on arrows for that element
theres also a thunder gleeok at the colleseum, a fire one on the lake hylia bridge, and a frost one fairly close to the snowfeild stable

Aerocuda or Keese eyes can help a lot. Multishots home in on the heads knocking it out of the sky with ease
There's a thunder Gleeock in the Colleseum just north of the great plateau. It's much easier to fight that one. Also, thunder helm makes you immune to most of it's attacks. Like, it literally doesn't hurt you.
Silver lynel horns have over 50 fuse attack power. But Silver Lynels also have an annoying amount of HP so expect to break a weapon or two on them.
always do the mounted attack on the lynels so you do not loose durability on your weapon if it scares you to break one .
@@Antidepressiva1980 By now my attack damage is so high i can just face tank them. Silver lynel saber horn + Sora sword + wet link = 134 damage

For que King you find in the deep, you can hide behide the rito statue(its wings) in its last phase. Which causes him get down again. Only way I figured out to beat this fella. ;)

If you get any lynel bows there are duplex bows at one of the yiga clan hideouts
Demon King's Bows are amazing.
Especially late game, whenever you've taken down most/all the Shrines?
(Mine do Base 60 RN, I have 2 more Shrines to finish, and I maxed Stamina, so I only have 2 Hearts that I can't get.)
Another King Gleeok can be found on the bottom right-hand corner of the map over Eventide Island and there's one in the depths but no clue where though.
under the typlho ruins, they guard a piece of amibo armor.
Also one in the bottom left above gerudo desert
You can also use a spear to stab their eyes as soon as they stand and you can flurry rush their tails
I've killed all the kings so far i found the best strat to be using any of the tracking eye items during bullet time it makes any of the flying portions of the fight remedial. IMO
I found 3 on the sky and one in the depth have you find any more of them ?

Two rocket shields, Lynel Bow, Lightscale Trident (silver lynel horn) 154 dmg, 3 atk up armor and Sidon. Two rounds, no matter the element.
To cheese the king Gleeok I honestly just brought like 12 stamina meals and got extremely high above it and rained down arrows until it died when i hit the ground finally

I shot it with an arrow it flew up and immediately fast traveled when I saw the health

krees eyeballs of the type the gleeok is weak too does immense damage and makes stunning the heads trivial, just bring a lynel bow and a bunch of eyes and the fight takes like 2 minutes
I don’t think you covered it but in addition to being the strongest elemental item to fuse to bus also they have not cool down… I have 3 MsgNotFound MasterSwords each fused to elementals (started with gem stones, then like likes, and eventually dragon horns) but soon realized not only are the Gleeok horns more powerful but after 4 swings all elementals have a rather long cool down - well not gleeok horns - seemingly infinite

So i saw this video didnt click on it yet because i didnt want to mess with Gleeoks yet. However, while traveling i discovered King Gleeok and decided to say "fuck it" after many trial and error for effective kill strat. I essectially just ascended on the rocks to get the slow and kill the eyes before he took flight to avoid the super move it did at low life. I felt soooo accomplished
use Recall on ice spikes and climb on it but be aware from the blizzard in the sky
Can you use water stuff to short-circuit Thunder Gleeoks? Like the stuff you typically use to create stone platforms on lava?
i am SO happy with the variety of enemys and bosses in these game i am so sick an tired of lynels and guardians being the only semi challenging thing in botw
I beat the king gleeok with 4 hearts and 2 stamina wheels. I just went to a pillar with my great eagle now and shot each one in the eye. Here is the mistake people make. Get a lot of arrows and headshot it from the pillar until it stands up (recommend using fuse to increase arrow damage output). Repeat and it won’t unleash its final attack at all. In fact, it won’t even attack except for the first time you get there and go to the pillar so get 1-2 fairies. I recommend getting stamina food and flying down from the Wind Temple. Now that I’ve given all this info, one question. What is the best weapon to fuse the gleeok horn with? Anyways, answer it from your experience (any help is appreciated) and enjoy! 😊
Edit: this is only for the KING gleeok. U can try it with elemental ones but your success rate is like 70-80% as opposed to 90-100%. After, just dupe those incredible horns.
Wait I think all gleeoks have a final storm attack at 25% health, not just the king. I fought the frost one early on in Hebra and it did the ice pillar attack too

i found an ancient part for arrows that has a fuse power of 50.
I literally came across the king gleeok.. the first one I actually fought, by accident. "Ooh look at that random high island, wonder what's up there!" *taps into dark souls skills **tells gleeok to "git gud"

I found a single fire dragon stone inside a chest behind one of the bookshelves in the library, inside the castle. The ones you pull out with ultrahand. With all the duplicating going on, I had a whole bunch in no time.

The Thunder Gleeok lightning beams are not difficult, but rather impossible for me to avoid.
I'm not sure if my specific copy of the game is bugged, but I want to emphasize the fact it's literally not possible for me to run faster than the beams, or avoid them period.

Sekiro is probably my favorite game of all time, and I loved Cuphead as well. This is the wrong kind of "difficult" for a video game and the beams one shot me and auto follow my movement.
I used a speedup elixir. The attack can't catch you if you do that

gleeoks are very easy when you have a bunch of eye arrows
What gleeoks drop guts because I'm trying to upgrade an armor but it says I need gleeok guts yet I have killed a few and got no guts drops

@Ilkeyacutg I got one from killing the one that has all 3 elements. Then I took it and duped it so it's not that rare anymore.
If you swap the weapon it instantly recharges elemental energy.

Gleeok is not the highest fuse damage, I think the white lynel is
Highest elemental damage fuse, but yes silver lonely dose the most overall fuse damage
I don't actually think that Gleeock's take any extra damage when using the opposite element.... They don't seem to have any elemental weakness.
Wait a sec... What makes you think the Thunder Gleeock is weak to Wind? Did you literally just make that up or take a guess? Cus I scour the community forums, datamines, Reddit, etc & have never heard a single other person say this. What makes you think this is a weakness of the Thunder Gleeock? Have you tested the damage numbers? Would love to know if it really is true, & not just hypotheticals.
The king gleeok is actually not that hard and pretty boring, I farm the one behind korok forest under the earth. I just shoot with a 5 shot bow and elemental keese eyes in the direction, before he can attack me and then when he is on the ground, I shoot him in the head, does much more damage with the 5 shot bow that a normal weapon. In his final attack its pretty easy, if it is lightning just ride the wind up and shoot again with keese eyes, if its ice just ride it up and shoot.
I have killed so many lynel and have not got a 5 shot bow yet.

Edit edit! Apparently that’s all they do! The light balls also bounce around all over the place and don’t deal damage as far as I’m away.

The idea is supercooling the fire-elemnt enemy kills it as its body is at a much higher standard
They gave us a water "element" type fruit you'd assume that would be the better choice lmao
Well I mean if you think about it this way, ice is basically frozen water and fire either can be weak to water or cause more fire to spread
