Not as good as it should have been, Fabspeed are not capable of what GINTANI CAN DO!!!! also those exhaust tips are chinese fake carbon ones that have been everywhere selling for extremely cheap so fabspeed fucked up

They definitely put the C8Z i to the supercar realm with that new chassis and engine setup. I wasnt a big fan of them before this video, like I liked them, but still preferred the C6/C7. Now I may still prefer that pushrod V8 sound, but have a huge newfound love for the C8! The fact that it sounds like a supercar, and looks like one is insane coming from an American car!
The z06 is very quickly becoming my favorite on the channel. Sounds great.

Not sure what they were trying to accomplish with raising the spoiler but glad to see they put it back to stock. Sounds great.

If you raise the spoiler you put it in cleaner air and you can produce more downforce, also it looks more aggressive.
I agree looks stupid so high up.
The wing has a cool design to it that gets lost with the simple risers.
@@yann9378 I may be wrong but I believe the wing is curved how it is to lower drag. If you raise it up it may produce more downforce, but it will produce a lot more drag.

Sounds awesome. But you might want to have your air the fuel ratio checked. I noticed in the video it was emitting black smoke out the exhaust when you’re idle at the 10:58 mark. Seems like the car is running rich. Beautiful car.

The ZO6 has gotten a great exhaust note! Can’t wait to see the ZR1 and ZO6 side by side and a comparison between them. Also is the wing active aero because it looks a little higher than last video?

Incredible you can pick up 25whp on an already strung out motor just from exhaust. Even more Incredible this motor is creeping up on 700whp NA with potentially headers and a tune 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Imagine with headers turn that level to a 10 to probably a 20😮😮. It sounds so good
The car has factory tubular headers.
headers aren't going to make it much louder. The c8 platform already has decent headers on it that aren't as restrictive as stock exhaust manifolds in previous cars.

I know you won't say it as your always such a positive grateful dude. You have the best Corvette content on the web. I still can't believe what you had to go through to get this car. The people who built this car did an amazing job... The PR guy's... Not so much.. totally fail by them. The amount of fantastic promotion you give their company is worth way more than they obviously realise.. great job on another great video👍
They are on the right track. I believe it still has more high end left in it. More like the 458, F1 sound. Maybe different material? Longer pipes? IDK, not an engineer but I'd bet Gintani can get that F1 sound out of it.
Headers will do it. Stock headers are a 4-2-1 design, not perfectly equal length. Give it an equal length 4-1 header and it’ll get even more high pitched. Believe it or not. Stock 458s are lower pitched then the stock zo6 is. All the screaming 458s you see on the internet with the “f1” sound have upgraded headers because the stock 458 headers aren’t perfectly equal length either.
It kinda has that V12 raspiness of an 812 on startup but obviously sounds like a 458 on steroids….oof I just love it 🔥
I absoultly love the exaust but not sure I am a fan of the wing all the way up like that. But that exhaust sounds like the C8R its crazy!!
Those wing extensions are overboard. The stock spoiler is perfect as is

I had rare twin modified V8 two stroke Johnson stroke outboards on my old Cougar cat speedboat, this sounds sort of like those engines.
