Thank you for adding the printed pattern as you go at the top of the screen. I appreciate your teaching style and I’m new to your channel. I just subscribed looking forward to new patterns.
@@nanascraftyhomestarted my blanket...solid yellow center, row 6 started ice cream yarn in parfait color...🎉🎉🎉 loving this using a J 6mm hook..😂 will add the solid yellow back at row 12ish for a few rows, then back to the multi color..will end with yellow as a border...😊
I love this stitch...I also LOVE the reversible V stitch. I've made two baby blankets and an oversized Queen bed size! I've never made anything from the center out using this stitch...I'm going to have to try it this way! Thanks for sharing!
Very Beautiful Lacey looking Afghan. Have you ever made it with a Lion Brand Mandala Ombre Cake, do all Lion Brand Mandala Cakes feel the same, just wondering if I could combine cakes and they would not notice any difference. I cannot go to a store to find out. I'm house bound. Have a Wonderful, Memorable, Christmas, and New Year ! Renae
Thank you - so glad you like it! I haven't made it with Lion Brand Mandala but I think it would look lovely in that yarn! I would say most of the Mandala cakes could be combined without issue - most really feel the same. I hope that helps! Have a Happy Christmas & Blessed New Year! 💕🌸
@@nanascraftyhome I was wondering how you do not end up with large holes at the corners? I keep pulling it out because the corners seem to get bigger holes as it gets larger then stretch out from the weight . Any suggestions to prevent this?
I love this! But I don’t see where I can get a print copy of this pattern on your website, can you tell me how to download the print copy of this pattern please? Thank you in advance!
So happy you like it! The free written pattern can be found here: nanascraftyhome.com/modern-v-stitch-crochet-blanket-pattern-free-crochet-pattern/ and the ad-free PDF is in my shop here: nanascraftyhome.com/product/candy-kisses-crochet-blanket-ad-free-pdf/. I hope that helps! 💕🌸
Absolutely this stitch would be fine with a bulky yarn. If you are looking to add a little more drape to it I would recommend increasing a hook size from the recommended size. Work up a swatch and see how you like it. I hope that helps! 🌸💕
@@nanascraftyhome yes, thank you. My understanding is it is no longer available. But thank you for the explanation. Beautiful blanket! I bought the pattern and ordered similar yarn. Can't wait to make it.
I am sorry you found that distracting. I like to give helpful tips to newer crocheters that may have problems finding those corner spaces from round to round. I never use them myself but definitely a personal preference. Thank you for your feedback 💕
How silly and unproductive to comment on the use of stitch markers by someone doing countless numbers of new crochet enthusiasts. Take from this excellent tutorial what applies to your liking or take your dizzy self to a "no tips for those who know it all" video.
I’ve been crocheting for almost 25 years, and when I’m doing a blanket in the round, I mark every corner no matter what the pattern is. I get into a rhythm of doing the stitches and if I’m not careful, I skip the corner stitches and have to end up frogging a whole row. This is a very helpful tip, whether you are a beginner or not. I really can’t wait to try this one. It’s so pretty!
I love crocheting blankets from the middle. I just added this one to my list. Can’t wait to try it!
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for watching! 🌸💕

Grateful for this well-made tutorial. Got lost on the written pattern at row 2, couldn't get past it.
So glad you found the video helpful for you! I hope you enjoy making it! 💕🌸
Stitch markers are a great idea to mark the corners. I am an intermediate crocheted, but I still some when learning a new pattern. Cheers!
Thank you! So glad you found it helpful 🌸💕
This is such an easy pattern and so beautiful.

Can this stitch be done with a bulky yarn?

What is parade 30 oz?
Parade is the colorway I used in case someone wants to duplicate the same color for their blanket. I hope that helps! 💕🌸

Isn't it silly and unproductive to be messing with stitch markers? I'm dizzy from watching you. Pity I won't be trying this patter.
