hmm, I wonder what the best setting to use is if you want the lowest poly count cage pre-smooth preview? (sometimes i use nurbs to get crazy car body curves and I'd like to convert it to the lowest density poly cage prior to sub-d smoothing (normal sub-d not maya's hierachical sub-d). Does control points work? Or does it offset? I think nurbs control points are equivalent to sub-d control points on a pre-smooth cage arent they?
luis saire martinez I think you'd need to use a different application that can use both file types, like FreeCAD or TurboCAD. Import your .obj into one of those applications and then you should be able to export it into .igs from there.
