I actually understand you so well, something I have learnt about the thing called friendship is just do your own for God, as much as you rate someone or like someone doesn't mean they will reciprocate. I don't blame the person that told you to put friendship on the shoulder not on your head, because human being can be funny. All I will just say is be a good person/ friend and try not to be expecting too much from people. May we all have good friendship and someone to call a friend indeed.
