We became friends and had daily conversations. I liked her personality very much. She was pretty too. Then COVID came and lockdown happened. Hence, we had more conversations daily. In 2020, I confessed to her and we became more than friends. After some months, she told me that we should continue our relationship after high school so that we could focus on our studies. I agreed with her decision because it was for the best. We promised each other that we wouldn't leave. I gave my loyalty to her. 3 years passed away and 2023 came. It was the last year of high school. So I gave her flowers at valentine's day. That night I asked her about our promise. I was happy. Suddenly she started denying about making that promise like it never happened. She left me like my loyalty was nothing to her. Trauma hit me and I couldn't eat, sleep and study for many days. It was like a nightmare that never ended.

The truth is this girl didn’t really love you. She led you on for three years through some of the worst time in the past few years (COVID). All you can do is prioritize yourself and move on from her. I know the trauma you must’ve went through was tough but imagine actually dating someone like that just disregarded and lied to you. It’s for the better and I hope you get well soon and be glad you made that choice to ask her out. That’s a big step in becoming a man and will be better for your future. Goodluck brother, you will find someone nice for you if you didn’t get with this girl because you focused on studying. I’m sorry she did that to you but some girls are just evil. Take care
