    Thanks a lot for the update! After a quick search, it seems you are the first (on youtube at least) to make a real long term/wear review of the tire. I currently have the Metzeler Tourance Next 2 mounted on my Africa Twin Adventure 2021 - which I like a lot, great handling and longevity seem good - and I'm eager to test the Anakee Road as my next set since they seem to be in the same category as the Tourances.
    I only do road traveling and twisties (no off-road), but I can't use the Road 6 on the Africa Twin since they don't come in 21 inches for the front wheel.
    Please keep us updated on how long these Anakee Road last on your Multistrada!
    Ride safe

    I'm sold. little bit better on gravel without going for knobbly tires will do me. Road 6 are also puncture magnets, and the little narrow sipes trap small sharp stones too easily.

    hey bro, thanks for the review, you said you had the scorpion trail 2 tires and now the road, which tire performs better in the twistys, which has better grip while leaned?

      The Pirellis weren't bad, but the tires started flexing when pushed hard. The Road 6 tires really woke this bike up, but the Anakee Roads are close behind.

      @@4KMotoring ok thanks , i was thinkinh of getting anekee road or pirelii trail, considering i had road 5, i will try the new anekee roads instead of road 6. thanks buddy, you helped allot.

    Thank you so much for the update 👍. I never take my V4s off the road as I use a 701 and FE350 for that, and the weather here in south of France is always dry, with lots of hot, fast twisty canyon tarmac, so if you were me, would you go for the road 6 or the anakee Road?

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  5 місяців тому +1

      Realistically if you never venture off-road, the road 6 will give you ultimate performance. If you still want the image of an adventure bike with a little more aggressive tread pattern, the Anakee Road are still really good on road.

      I will be looking to fit these on GS1300 which came with the Anakee Adventures which I have been very pleased with. My GS will not see any serious off roads, perhaps some gravelly / light mud country lanes and after a sales pitch by Michelin Tecs at the Dianesse store in London this year I’m sold.
      Thanks for the video

    How is the road noise on the Michelin Anakee Road?

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  3 місяці тому +1

      Can't even notice it. Best I can tell, it's a road 6 tire with more void space

    Thank you for the nice review but I wanted to ask if Michelin Anakee Road are quiet or not too noisy while riding I ask because I want to put these tires on my 1300 GS. I got it new a few days ago on Anakee Adventure and these tires are unbearable. The noise is there all the time from the first meters in corners and on a straight it is terrible and unpleasant and I ride mainly on paved roads very rarely go down any gravel.

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  2 місяці тому

      The Anakee Adventure is a bias-ply tire of completely different construction. I've not noticed any noise from these tires (at least, not over my Alra exhaust). They are much more similar to the Road 6

    Road 6 is a much better all year round tyre. The road 6 is way much better in rain or let’s say wet roads.

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  6 днів тому

      So I've had pretty extensive experience on both tires at this point and am pretty confident in saying that they are the exact same tire with different tread patterns. The road 6 is fantastic on road, delivers confident power, braking, and cornering in all weather without a doubt. That said, the anakee road hasn't shown any considerable weakness of any kind in wet weather. It has a slight edge with light off-roading as compared to the road 6 with only the slightest compromise in on-road acceleration and handle it.

    That one time you leant the bike over you got a nasty xD Not your fault though, not much time to lean that Ducatti inbetween fill-ups.

      The Multi definitely leans! But you're right, it can't pass a gas station 🤣
