I was debating whether to watch this video or skip. Wow, so glad I did. You covered end to end in a real shoot. Great job with lots of info throughout. Thank you! 👏
I used to do real estate videos in Palm Springs, CA super wealthy area but the real estate company i worked for closed (this was in 2015). I really enjoyed this video, and just stopped to comment. Im living in Miami Beach, FL now and having a great time watching you show your skills and experience bro.
I read online that you can get unlimited recording time when you record externally to an atomos ninja v but I found that to be false. My R6 has overheated at all my shoots where I used 4K 60 but luckily with the new update the cool down times are much shorter. You can shoot all day in 1080p though and the footage looks great.
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. I've been doing still Real estate photography for a few years and just bought a gimbal so I'm going to work towards real estate videography.
Awesome video! Your setup is amazing, however you don’t really need the most expensive equipment starting out. If you have the money, that’s cool. But, you can scale up your equipment later once you make some decent money. Just be creative with what you got. And ALWAYS use a wide angle lens on whatever camera you go with starting out. That’s a must.
Great video, very helpful! Thanks for sharing these tips. I’ll definitely be using some of them in my future videos. Currently working with an iPhone 7 which is not too great when it comes to video. Gonna need to upgrade soon for sure lol
Hey Josh, great video and demo on how you do things. Would mind posting the link for the Canon EOS R6 and also the site you use to put all that together.
Hi my name is George Murray and I watch a real estate video and I liked it very much I'm going to help a friend that is in real estate and she like for me to videotape this will be my first time videotaping real estate how should I approach it the equipment I have is a Canon 7D Mark II and the lenses I have is the can the 22 and a 50 which one should I use thank you very much
@@georgemurrayjr21 thats a good set up. Honestly, its the content that makes a video good. When we first started we were filming tours with our phones 🤣 now we are shooting with a Canon M50 and looking now to upgrade. Just keep the agent in focus, have steady hands and good audio and you'll be good! 👍 Use the 22 for wide and 50 for close B roll.
Great video. Man I have that sigma 14-24mm for re photos which is awesome. How do you control the distortion for videos? It's super heavy. Luckily I'm flying a rs2 so it can handle it.
Man I completely changed my setup since this video. I'm running a Canon R6 Mark ii with the RF 15-35 which is super light compared to the SIGMA. The 15-35 barely has any noticeable distortion.
Hey Bobby this is great man! I shoot with a R6, Tokina 16-28 and a ronin s. Im struggling to find the right settings for the gimbal. Do you pan in sport mode? Do you hold the gimbal trigger to do ‘push and pull’ shots? Thanks again!
Hey, I'll see if I can do a video about my gimbal settings but I essentially I created custom settings in mode 1 where all of my panning settings are set to be as slow as possible. I don't usually hold the gimbal trigger for any shots.
Could you possibly link us the handle and monitor you use for your gimbal? I feel like I would greatly benefit from those and I have a ronin S. I was curious about your gimbal settings......last question - are you using auto focus or manual?
Tons of helpful info here. Thank you. Can you put a link to the Ronin-S handle you chose and let me know why you chose that one over the dozens of other choices? Also, are you connected wirelessly to the Ninja V? I don't see a cumbersome HDMI cable flopping around.
Also I forgot to ask: When the agent is walking towards you or you are inside the house showing off the property , is that autofocus or Manual focus ??
Great video thanks a lot. May I ask, I can only buy one lens at the moment for beginning. Can I start the business with Sony a7iii with sony 10-18mmm...? And also I couldn’t really see you using your tripod. Why do you think it is mandatory for us videographers?
The 14-24 is pretty heavy which is why I switched to the rf 15-35 but I’m not sure. You can look up the weight limit of the rsc online and the weight of the r6 and sigma lenses to determine if it’ll work.
@@HomeandYacht thanks mate - I went with the rs2, it’s a nice piece of gear! Did you have strange wobble looking footage issues with the 14-24 art and the R6 while use the IBIS? Seems like a bad warp stabiliser look when I’m walking handheld, not sure if it’s a firmware issue with the lens as I’ve updated the firmware on the R6... any advise is appreciated 😀
Hey, good stuff. Can I ask a couple questions? What site do you use for music/audio effects or other elements? And how much difference is there in the image between 4K video from an iPhone 11 on a gimbal and the setup you had? Is it night and day?
Envato Elements and artlist.io are really good for stock assets. If you are watching the final product on a phone it’s harder to tell the difference but I would not recommend using a phone if you are going to be shooting professional video or trying to charge for your services.
GREAT JOB! I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS! IT'S SO USUFUL! GIVE US MORE INFORMATION FOR SETTINGS, DRON TECHNIC AND ALL OTHER DIFFERENT INFORMATION THAT WE CAN PRACTICE!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!
Great content. Thanks for sharing.
Keep up the good work bro. Great content!! New subscriber here..

How dis doesn’t have more views this’s knowledge right here
Thank you
What are your thoughts on the R6 overheating issues? Have you ever had it overheat on a job?

Excelente video, muchas gracias, voy a seguir tus consejos, un abrazo desde CHILE.
Hey Bobby, could you please make a video about pricing guides for these types of real estate videos?
Great work 👏🏾
Great video!! Where did you get the mic receiver mount for the Ronin S?
Thanks!
I actually just glued a cheap hot shoe attachment to it.
Love my Sigma 14-24 2.8 on my A1… it’s damn sharp
so much value in this vid, thanks !

@10:35 Does this footage look weird because it's in 60fps?

I went ahead and linked them in the description and I’m using auto focus.
@@HomeandYacht Thank you!
Hey bro, really informative video. Just curious, do you have the IBIS on while you’re shooting with your gimbal?
You don't have any primos in CT do u? Reminded of my boy and when u popped up with the same last name lol...great video tho!
Appreciate it and no I don’t believe I have any cousins there.

Have you tried the Laowa 12mm F2.8? I am using the pocket 6k (super 35) but not sure if that would be a good lens
I have not but the super 35 has a 1.5x crop factor I believe so your 12mm would be equivalent to a 18mm which is usable for real estate.
Vert helpful. Cheers!
Also I forgot to ask:
When the agent is walking towards you or you are inside the house showing off the property , is that autofocus or Manual focus ??
I’m always on autofocus.

Yes you can start with that camera lens combo. A tripod isn’t necessary for video but a gimbal is.
Great video! What are your rates for Real Estate Videography and Photography?
Photos $150-200 and videos $300-$500
Bro! This was awesome! Thanks for all the tips!
No problem!
Do you know of anyone that worked for LPG?
No
Great Tips! I am a new agent in Hollywood, CA.
Thank you 🙏

The sound is out of sync with the video, not very professional.
