Absolute masterclass job on this video man the Harry Potter games are honestly very nostalgic to me and I have them all on GameCube her recently went back and played through some of them and had a great time the GameCube era was awesome for licensed games

The first three Harry Potter games and QWC are so magical. Chamber of Secrets we had a friend bring ever sleep over. Took 2 years for our parents to finally get it but as a 5 year that was my Ocarina of Time.
Chamber of Secrets was what I played on PS2. Nearly identical to the Gamecube version, but allows freedom to explore the grounds with extra exclusive fetch quests, cranks the number of stealth sections up, allows you to save the game at any time from the pause menu and has better lighting in the daytime. Night and dark lighting is better in Gamecube.
I have this memory when I was 11 or 12 of powering through Chamber of Secrets in one day. It took me, I think, literally the entire day, but I was hooked on it. Great video, as always, GCG!
I played CoS on the GC back in the day and loved it. But GameCube games were really expensive and the ony reason I had that one was because I found a cheap used copy. That being said, I still hope to slowly build a HP retro collection at home. Fingers crossed and can do it. Also, mispronouncing accio is quite common, especially for people who put the books over the movies and read them to memorization before the movies were out.
I'm not a fan of Harry Potter, but I do remember playing Chamber of Secrets on PS2 and I enjoyed playing the Lego games. Also I looked at the I notice different camera angles in this video for Chamber of Secrets and thought I was going mental. Just got back and the PS2 and GameCube/Xbox versions literally have different camera angles! Also good number of areas have different details as well. I found out EA UK did the PS2 version while Eurocom did the Xbox and GameCube versions. Not too sure if the Xbox and GameCube versions are enhanced ports of the PS2 version or game was made for Xbox and GameCube first and was just outsourced to EA UK to put on the PS2. Though I'm not too sure what's definitive.

great episode my friend! harry potter games are such an interesting topic because there are so many different versions of the same movie game. For instance the Gameboy Color Harry Potter games are turn based RPG's while the GBA ones for the same movie/book are adventure games. PC versions are also completely unique compared to their console counterparts and I believe there are even different versions for PS1 vs PS2 and the like. I had no idea Jeremy Soule did the soundtrack's though! I'll have to add them to my fantasy music playlist alongside his other albums. and speaking of QWC it's so cool that they came out with a new Quidditch game recently. ranked online Quidditch has been many a Potterhead's dream for years so to see it brought to life recently is just so cool.

I used to play Quidditch Cup a lot as a kid. So you can imagine my disappointment when Hogwarts Legacy didn't have Quidditch. They got everything else about being a witch or wizard right though...
Quidditch World Cup is a blast for sure! Yeah, Hogwarts Legacy not including that was a shame, and I thought they’d maybe add it as an update over time…but they never did. Like you said though, everything else they nailed with that game! Thanks for checking out the video man!
go play the new Quidditch game they just came out with then! it's got a great skill-cap competitive nature and online play, it's not just a basic kids game. I'm not sure how popular it is exactly but I truly hope it lives on for years to come because quidditch is an awesome sport! the even changed the rules of how the snitch works so the games aren't entirely won by whoever gets it.

You’re missing out on the RPG’s on this console. So little of them, but so great they are a they still hold up to this day. Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, etc… please touch up on these. To make a Harry Potter an tony hawk collection before is confusing imo
I do want to do an episode about RPGs on the GameCube, but the amount of time I need to invest in each game to get a solid understanding to discuss about is massive realistically, and with my current life schedule, it may take some time until I can do that proper. One day though!
Would you consider doing a "every Resident Evil Gamecube game" video? I know the series got quite a few ports for the Gamecube. You can even make it a Halloween special, if you really want to.

As I started recording footage of RE Code Veronica X, it dawned on me that I feel I wouldn't be able to do the games justice in a single video, and decided I'd review each game individually one day. I have such a fondness for the franchise, and would want to do the coverage justice (if that makes sense). Maybe next October I could do some RE reviews for the month! @@GameCubeGalaxy Speaking of good days of EA, I bought on my PS3 Slim Mirror's Edge. The tutorial is skipable but tells you the important controls. I died a lot in Normal Mode of the Game but I do love the visuals and how fast the game feels and how you can speedrun it. EA got some good Games, but after PS3 era is completely dog shit forever, A BIT XD
@@FarmerSlideJoeBob Oh dude, Mirror's Edge on PS3 is a game I spent countless hours replaying over and over...absolutely LOVED that game! The visuals and soundtrack are on another level. That still probably the hardest platinum trophy I ever achieved. Outside of the GameCube, the PS3 was one of my absolute favorite consoles.

Yeah they definitely did! Yeah, Goblet of Fire is such a letdown, as it has the recipe for what should be a great co-op game...but the performance and unresponsive controls hurt the experience. Thanks for checking out the video man!
I've had several chances to get into Harry Potter, but never really cared. I don't know why, the franchise seems to be fun enough to make a pass time out of it but I just don't care. I should buy one book some day. Hey dude, how about reviewing Auto Modelista? I have the PS2 version and the GC one is way pricier.
the thing about auto-modelista is that only some versions of it are balanced properly. It's usually based on the region and console. I'm not certain of gamecube got a good version. If you get the "normal" version of Auto-modellista it has horrible handling that's basically unplayable compared to the other version which feels fine. I think PAL and or Japanese is usually the best version but I forget which is best on gamecube if any. If you play the bad version though the cars like driving through Jello, no fun at all.

@@nomorenames5568 Yup, you're right. The GC version was revised and the controls were improved. I got the PS2 copy for $7 CIB at an eBay auction. I thought "well, I don't think the controls are that bad so heck, I'll bid" hahahaha. I still have to play it, though. Reminds me of those drifting style japanese games like Initial D.

the PS2 ports allow you to roam the grounds of hogwart much more, you also have more prefects to deal with.

What I don't like in Prisoner of Azkaban is the character models. They look like they were imported directly from The Sims 2.
