Well I'm sold. I haven't tried any of these but they honestly all look great. I watch a lot of video game review channels but this is the only one that actually feels like I'm watching a TV show that could have aired on G4 back in the day.
Glad you’re now interested in these Pac-Man games after seeing this episode! And man, thank you for that amazing compliment! That truly means a lot! 🙏🏻
Was Pac Man World 2 in a bundle with the game cube at all? When i received my gamecube as a kid Christmas morning this was the first game i played! Loved it.@GameCubeGalaxy
I had a random Pac-Man phase growing up and I remember renting all of these games (except Fever) on GameFly and trying them that way. I had such a blast playing the Pac-Man World games; so much so that even after beating Pac-Man World 2 while renting it, I went and asked my mom to purchase the game next time we were at the game store. I think that's the only time I ever did that with a rental. Thank goodness I did too otherwise me and my brother may have never gotten to play Pac-Man VS. Some seriously good times with these games.
That’s awesome man!! Great story to share, and glad Pac-Man World 2 resonates with you so much! It’s such a great platformer that I always recommend people get if they haven’t yet. Wonder if they’ll remake it the way Pac-Man World 1 was remade as “Re-Pac”… Thanks again for checking out the video man!
Pac-Man World 3 is incredibly underrated! I actually love the darker and grittier tone it established compared to the first two Pac-Man World games, and the voice acting is top-notch for its time!
Agreed that it is highly underrated! I was really enjoying my time with the game, and want to go back and finish it! Thanks for checking out the video!!
World 2 for me is definitely a top 10 third party game and upper tier game in general for the GameCube. Wish it gets remastered of remake like World 1 did. World Rally is a solid game even if it's a Mario Kart Clone. Excellent content as always!
Agreed! Pac-Man World 2 was an excellent game, and one I always recommend. Here's hoping we can see a remake for it like World 1 received one day. Also agree that World Rally is quite good! Thanks for checking out the video!
Man, I have spent so much of my childhood playing PMW2 on this very specific console. Even in my first days of gaming, I spent quite some time playing PMW1 on PS1. This was an awesome review, as for the other Pac-Man titles I have not yet experienced but definitely have my attention to pickup. PMW3 does look interesting , I can definitely understand your opinion on the flaws of it but you can definitely tell the ambition behind this project. Btw Pacman / Mario Collab was not in my bingo card for 2024. Definitely helps my knowledge! Thanks again man! This was an awesome one!
That's awesome to hear! Glad you have memories tied to some of these games! PMW3 is definitely ambitious, and is still very much worth playing! Haha the Pac-Man/Mario collab was kind of mind-blowing! Thanks again for checking out the video man!
I remember that time during my younger years being mesmerized at the hub world music for World 2 for many years. It’s a sign that the soundtrack is by far the best thing Namco has done right next to Soulcalibur 2 on the Cube. Won’t forget it.
I still remember the commercial for Pacman World 2 fondly, especially when he would do his little idle jig towards the end of it. Didn't get to play these World games till a couple of years ago but they're solid good fun! I gotta get me Pacman Fever asap! Great video on Pacman on Cube, Marcello!
Haha I forgot about that commercial! Glad you eventually tried the World games, as they're a great time! Pac-Man Fever is definitely a fun Mario Party alternative that's worth it. Thanks for checking out the video man!!
FUN FACT: Martin T. Sherman, the voice of Pac-Man and Clyde the Ghost in Pac-Man World 3, is also the US voice actor for Thomas the Tank Engine for Seasons 13 through 18 of "Thomas & Friends".
I've only briefly played one Pac-Man game before that wasn't the original arcade. I think it was on the PS1 and honestly, it was quite fun. I'm extremely impressed by Pac-Man World 2 and 3. They look great and look like they'd fit into my type of games. Seems like they are underrated. Cool to hear they implemented a combo punch system for the 3rd. I just bought Pac-Man Fever a few weeks ago!! I like the revenge space that you can set up. Seems like a great trap. WOW, that took only a month to make for Pac-Man Vs?? I love the GBA-Link Cable mechanic. Awesome, and to end this video, a new game to discover! I had no idea Pac-Man World Rally existed. Great topic idea, GCG!
Nice! Yeah it may have been Pac-Man World on PS1 you played. Pac-Man World 2 and 3 are both really nice looking games visually, and a lot of fun to play! I think you’d definitely enjoy them! Oh yeah, I think I recall you posting a photo of some games you got and saw Pac-Man Fever in there lol. It’s a solid party game 👍. Wild about Pac-Man Vs being made in a month, right?! Glad you learned about Pac-Man World Rally through this episode as well! Thanks for checking out the video, TC, and glad you enjoyed the topic!!
I watched this video the day it came out while I was making breakfast, but just now realized I never commented like I meant to. Pac-Man has always been a cornerstone character for me, ever since I first played Namco Museum on the PS1 and learned about Namco's history as a kid. I have always loved the first Pac-Man World and have really fond memories of playing the sequels at my cousin's place. This was a really nostalgic watch for me, and I thought it was very comprehensive and well-written! I had no idea Pac-Man Fever was a thing. That roster is so wacky -- it makes me wish they'd try a Pac-Man Fever 2 with more polish. Imagine the roster Bandai-Namco could bring... I'd love to see Agumon, Klonoa, and Solaire going up against Pac-Man in a party game! Embrace the weirdness! It'll probably never happen though.
Haha much appreciated man! That's awesome hearing how much Pac-Man means to you and your history with it. Yeah, Pac-Man Fever is never really mentioned, but I felt the majority of these are never talked about other than Pac-Man World 2. A Pac-Man Fever 2 would be wild lol. Thanks again for checking out the video man!
Also in Pac Man Fever the other characters are Heihachi and Tiger Jackson from Tekken, Astaroth from Soul Calibur, Reiko from Ridge Racer and Ms. Pac Man. Tekken is a wacky series but this is strange even for that franchise!
Fun fact: there was supposed to be a sequel to Mrs.Pac Man maze madness on GameCube but got canned for unknown reasons i have a believe it’s for legal reasons do to the whole Mrs.Pac Man debacle case
That’s correct! It’s a shame Maze Madness didn’t get a sequel cause that’s such an underrated game. I played it and beat it on N64 way back in the day, and remember being very surprised at how good it was…so much so that I’d deem that a hidden gem! Thanks for checking out the video man!
I'm more familiar with the arcade games but it's interesting that Pac Man is getting an episode on Secret Level too. I'm really looking forward to that series of shorts.
I've always been in debt with Pac-Man games. I finished Pac-Man World 1 (PS1) by request of my then little nephews and I enjoyed it a lot back in the day. I'm moving to the US next year and I'll be getting one or two of these games as soon as I arrive. My problem now is: How in the name of humanity am I going to do to take all my collection with me when I move????
That’s awesome man! Very cool that you played Pac-Man World due to your nephew requesting it. Good luck on your move to the US next with all of your collection! I’d say pack the most valuable items in your carry-on and checked in luggage, and ship all your clothes 👍.
@@GameCubeGalaxy I can only bring 10 games and one console with me per flight :( I think I can send them internationally via courier. Sounds great, but I hope it won't cost me an arm and a leg.
Pac-Man Vs. is such an awesome multiplayer experience for sure. I brought it out for a game night with friends last year, and became a big hit that night. Thanks for checking out the video man!
I was wondering if rally would make the list! It’s not the best Kart racer in the world but my kids and I are suckers for Kart racers lol, and this one is fun! I also enjoy some of the platformer games despite some frustration at times. I have a lot of these actually on the original Xbox 🤷🏼♂️ Great vid my friend!!!
That's awesome you and your kids love kart racers! World Rally is a really fun one for sure, even if it's not "amazing", but it does exactly what it sets out to do pretty well! Glad you really enjoyed the video man, and greatly appreciate you checking it out!
The only one I have is the Pacman World 2 and Vs combo and I mostly bought it for Vs because of how much fun it is with friends. However, I do need to give World 2 a shot because everyone talks about how good it is. All these games look really fun, to be honest. Most are really affordable on the GameCube, too!
Nice!! Yeah, Pac-Man Vs is one of the best multiplayer experiences on the GameCube for sure! I highly recommend playing Pac-Man World 2 since it’s such an awesome platformer, and also looking into the other games! Like you said, prices are still reasonable on them (while Pac-Man World 3 may be a little pricier than the others, but still not terribly expensive 👍). Thanks for checking out the video!!
Dang it. I often forgot the Pacmam World Games. The Only Pacman Spin-off I enjoyed playing with friends is Pacman VS on Gamecube, which I just imported the Disc only. Was fun with 3 of friends :D
@@GameCubeGalaxy Interesting haven heard of them, but never played. I think the remakes aren't good. I mean on the visual level, where you can see the differences or am I wrong?
This video prompted me to check my copy of Pac-Man World 2. Had completely forgotten it was the Player's Choice version complete with Pac-Man Vs, so thanks! Sadly I only have the GB Player add-on, not an actual GB Advance so I'm not sure that's much use 😅
Sure thing! I mean, the GB Player is amazing add-on to still have! If you come across a GBA for a reasonable price, this is one of many reasons to own one! Thanks for checking out the video man!
Almost every Pac-man game on the Gamecube is good except Pac-Man Fever that one is just feels like shovelware and bad (But hey that's just my personal opinion)

I didn’t realize the number of Pac-Man titles that came to the GC. It was awesome revisiting Pac-Man’s history during this era. Great job!
