It might be a California thing. I’m in the Bay Area and there’s one here and guessing there’s some in LA but I don’t think it’s a very widespread chain.

There's only a total of 75 buca di beppo's in America versus the
13, 000 McDonald's here, so people not knowing about it makes sense. Also buca di beppo's seems to be an American thing anyways, which is also a reason why it's unfamiliar to some.

I live in an area where a majority of people think the many Olive Gardens are fancy. I don't even know where the nearest Buca di Beppo is.

@@loveforeva12 its only SLIGHTLY overpriced, like 20$ for chicken alfredo is almost average in los angeles. BUCCA is INSANELY overpriced. I think they said their alfredo was 36$ and “family style”. if you can eat then that family style is maybe 1.5/2 portions

I’m so happy that “let’s talk about that” is back. I feel bad that they wanted to try something new and something and it didn’t take, but I really missed the intro while it was gone.
Well that's why they went back, they try new things and see what the reaction is, if the fans really don't like it, then they go back, it's how experiments work. It's really neat though that they take the fans feedback into account.

I went to Buca de Beppos one time with my family and the night didn’t end well. Everyone got sick and someone threw up on my shoes and I had to walk to the car barefoot so... I had an interesting experience there. Might try it again just without my family.
I would just like to say, thank you for promoting and funding Mythical Kitchen! I get as excited for new episodes of it as I do GMM at this point, and I love that. Family run Italian restaurants are always standing supreme over Chain restaurants.
I remember watching a video of Irish people trying American cheesecakes and they kept saying that the crust was too thin. They were surprised there was so much filling and they kept saying the crust to filling ratio should be more even. I'd love to give them a bucca di beppo cheesecake.

Having worked at Olive Garden for 2 years, I can vouch that their alfredo is simply the best. The best I've ever had. I even worked at Macaroni Grill too. I STILL love Olive Garden!

Like....this city is bigger than some countries, and there are like 600 restaurants within a 2 mile radius.

I love how the fettucine alfredo was 'small'.
Well, the small size serves 2-3 and the large size serves 4-6 I believe. They're family sized portions at Buca.

I wish y'all could do a food feuds of like McAlister's vs. Panera vs. Corner Bakery vs. Newks. I'm sure Corner Bakery would reign supreme however it would still be kind of cool to see who would win.
it would be great if they would incorporate a guessing game into each round so that they would have to guess which one came from each restaurant before rating them. dont know if that would tip the episode over 15 minutes though
