This is the cheapest way to fix your brassy hair at home with amazing result..
it's a total game changer
if you are wondering what is the ratio..
i just eyeballed it! lmao
it's like..
1. add one cup of conditioner
(or hair mask or shampoo. in my opinion,
conditioner & hair mask works BEST!)
2. add half of the package of purple hair dye
(1:1 equal part with the developer that comes along in the box) :D
3. mix it well! (it's only 2 ingredients really. wow)
4. apply it evenly :)
5. wait for 30-45 mins, the wash it.
and if the mixture not enough for your hair
you might wanna make a second batch just like what i did in the video
Note:
this recipe works with super orange hair like mine, if your hair not as brassy as mine & just want to tone down a little, you might wanna put less hair dye into the mixing. maybe adding little by little until it reach to your color preference & liking.

Exactly! What matters is it works and we can see that so doing this may take a few times to figure out what is best for you and each time you will know what you did right and what you did wrong so you can perfect your method. Since we are making our own there is really no way to know how it will turn out at first!
This will save me in between bleach sessions, I like to give my hair at least 3 weeks to rest. this solution is better than hiding at home with my orange head
honestly from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for this one. I didn't want to bleach my hair again to achieve the brown I wanted and thankfully I had your color of hair before and after I tried this method. You helped me and my wallet😂😂
The outcome looks good but you should've used blue or indigo hair dye instead, since ur hair is yellow orange & Violet counters Yellow while Blue counters Orange, just a tip 👍🙂
So if I had brown with some brassy orange I should use blue dye instead?

Don't know why everyone is so set on purple every time. Blue is for orange hair. Purple is for a very light yellow.

I think maybe she needed both a blue with purple shampoo, because I see both yellow and orange.
And maybe that's why it worked and at the end you can see some orangish tones .
But looks good, just add some blue to it next time it happens.
A Blue dye would even out the orange very nice!
I still see brass. Use blue black dye instead with either conditioner or shampoo. Look up rinsage if you wanna see videos on this.
I recommend using Arctic Fox blue denim w/ white conditioner to get rid of the orange, brassy color. Leave on about 10 minutes and rinse. To get rid of brassy yellows, use Arctic Fox "purple as f*ck" w/ white conditioner. Leave on 10 minutes and rinse.
I have both :( and the orange is banded. This after bleaching my hair at home for the first time.

It would have been better if you had more product cause you have a lot of patches of orange still.. but it looks way better then before.

It looks gorgeous , you have beautiful hair and it’s so glossy. Just wondering if you used any developer in the mix because it seemed to oxidise/ turned darker after a few minutes? Good that you used purple because if you used just blue it could have turned the yellow strands green. Blue & yellow makes green although a tiny bit added would have been ok. Either way you did a great job 😊.
I actually have a pre made purple mask from the store. I never considered leaving it in for so long! Brb, gonna try leaving it in for an hour, because the 10 minutes on the bottle does nothing. Makasih mbak x

I absolutely love the after colour. There’s nothing wrong with orange tones. It’s really pretty and prettier than platinum fake blonde. It’s just nowadays beauty standards are all for ash blonde which is why people find it bad. Even brad mondo said it was still bad after. All because of the standards that ash blonde is good and honey blonde isn’t. But we all have different opinions and to be honest I find ash blonde or platinum blonde to be fake looking and her result is on the contrary just so so pretty for me

use brown color mix with purple color mix with grey when dying .... perhaps it will cover the orange color far more better than just purple dye

try a purple shampoo, it is cheaper.
Looks odd and uneven.
Thats not enough for my shoulder length hair let alone how much hair you have. Maybe next time get all your product before doing a tutorial. With less it means you miss a lot of spots. Next time just get some purple shampoo. Rinse your hair with lemons ti open up the cuticle and then shampoo for with purple shampoo and leave in for 20 minutes with a plastic cap rinse and next condition for 10 minutes with purple conditioner, rinse and style. If your hair is kind of damage. Spray with ion keratin spray mist, spray with ions moistire, add BTZ split mender which will keep frizz completely away, makes your hair shiny and soft.

, You can use Manic Panic hair dyes, they are small jars but very concentrated and pigmented, and very gentle on the hair, all you need is a little. The Jar should last you a long time.
