Bought this over a week ago on TEMU. Paid $12 AU for it. It’s the orange one as well. It will be delivered tomorrow. Talk about synchronicity. I have been buying most of my electronics supplies and guitar parts from TEMU.
@@RuthlessMojo It's not a charger as such. it's a FNIRSI FNB48S USB Meter. I put a link to it in the description to this video (YT do not like external links in the comments for some reason).
Do you like your usb power tester? Does it interfere in any way with the voltage or current it supplied to the device? Mine sometimes has a significant voltage drop or seems to limit current supplied to the device.
Really impressive, how much you get for just 12 CDN. Thanks for this test. You may give the community an update about usage time until discharged. In addition you may figure out how good the soldering tip is (life time).
Thanks, will do! I plan to use it in my upstairs mini-lab for the next little while. I might also use it to build a project in the next couple of days.

Cool! Please let us know what you think of it. (Don't compare it to something that costs $2000 like Dave, compare it to other $12 thingys..)
Will do. What was the charger with the display you were using? Looked pretty cool. Do you have a link for it at all?

Sounds like a winner!

The one I used here is fine. I have some that are not so good.
@@uni-byte Could you post the make and model?
@@skrame01 It's a FNIRSI FNB48S.
Does anyone know if there is a cap for it if you leave the tip on? Mine didn't have a case.
No cap that I know of. I guess you could 3D print one if you have access to a printer.

Jumped to $24.65 now.
Just cheeked and it's still showing $16.68 CAD for the basic black kit (like mine).
@@uni-byte That's crazy. I'm still getting $24.65 US. I ran all the options shown. I thought, like you, that was a bargain as you had shown. Thanks.
